He also didn't understand the difference between squared and round nails, so ended up butchering my nails. My nail clipper could have done a better job at shaping it. Not worth your money ladies! Went on a Friday afternoon, the place was empty. Was greeted immediately by a man, and asked what I wanted. I was also offered any water/soda/wine. The service was nice and the guys working were very friendly. I got blue dip powder on my nails, which was $45. He also took off my pre-existing shellac polish for no extra charge (which is a pain in the a**) so I was appreciative of that. Now the dip powder takes longer than shellac, which is worth it in my opinion. I chose a pretty royal blue color. It looks great. My only complaint is that I must've hit one nail on something after he did the top coat because theres a little scratch on one nail. Otherwise, he did an excellent job. One other thing- this place had a TV, but they had a soundtrack on so it was a still screen. Maybe put on a show or movie? I have visited Miracle nails a few times since moving to San Antonio and each time has been a solid experience. I have gotten pedicures and a gel manicure and I have been satisfied with all of the work I've had done. A basic pedicure is $30, which seems a little pricey for this grad student, but they do a great job and it is worth it to treat yourself! I have visited various days of the week. Saturday mornings/early afternoons are fairly busy, but Friday afternoon/early evening was slow, so I was able to get in and out in a short time. Got dip on my natural nails.. took over an hour got cut on my pinky and there is left over dip residue on 4 of my 10 fingers .. no massage .. nothing extra .. put my fingers in a bowl filled with water .. cut the cuticles, semi shaped my nail.. then did the dip powder on my nails.. nothing extra .. on the counter it shows the price list. . When I went to pay the price list showed "Dip with natural nails $45" the tech said "you $50" when I looked at the list and questioned the amount he said "$5 extra for your cuticles" isn't that usually something included with manicures ? Nothing extra about my cuticles .. What's the $45 charge for -- they didn't even give me lotion or massage my hands.. Should've went to my normal salon where gel with tip is $45..
