Hands down one of the best matchas I've ever had! I got the pink miracle matcha and it was so delicious! It didn't have a powdery taste to it as some matchas do, it also wasn't overpowering in the sweetness either. Definitely a must try if you're coming here! The service was amazing they helped answer any questions I had and went more into depth about what was in the miracle matcha. Inside they have a lot of cute decor and you can also do an afternoon tea with them! read more

Maria from Miracle Potion is one of the sweetest businesss owner I've met! She not only has created a safe and fun space for coffee-goers to experience but her and her team are all super friendly and accommodating. Miracle Potion has the cutest desserts and drinks, and they even have high tea with mini sandwiches, pastries and tea! I had an event there for a photography meet, and despite all the hecticness, Maria and the team were able to help all of our models and photographers rather quickly. Located in the corner of the street, at the end of the block - this coffee shop is in a perfect location! And the parking is not bad for the location being downtown, there is meter parking and also a parking structure across the street if you wanted to park downtown for the whole day. We got so many great pictures at their downstairs, upstairs and outside patio. Absolutely love how the entire coffee shop is decked out in pink décor. Definitely Barbie vibes! The Miracle Potion Afternoon Tea experience was so cute! I went with a party of 3 and we were so impressed by the details and quality of the food. The tea service came with 2 complimentary teas, 2 sandwiches, a variety of mini desserts, a glass of sparkling lemonade, and home made biscuits portioned per person. The upstairs cafe, set up, and food was definitely instagram worthy. The desserts were not too sweet and they had a good selection of tea. My only negative comment is that I wish the teas were loose-leaf and served by the kettle versus in tea bags with hot water. The desserts were also mixed versus each person having their own portion of dessert. I still appreciated the variety of both. I would definitely come back for afternoon tea with friends and family! read more

Found this little quaint cafe on a morning walk. It was such a cute shop! The menu is small, but just right. The pink miracle matcha latte was delicious with floral syrup and rose petals that weren't too strong. The matcha itself was mild and not too sweet, which is how i like it. The croissant sandwich was yummy. I wish the whole sandwich would have been toasted so the mozzarella and prosciutto were warm, but it was still good. Overall, the service was great and both women were so nice and friendly that I would go back for that alone! read more

My coconut chai drink was very very milky I got no hints of coconut at all, the inside was very cute and pink though! The girls were friendly though! Also the inside is very small so keep In Mind if your just popping in and not doing the whole tea party reservation. read more

This place is adorable! Everything is pink and fun. I had one of the pink miracle lattes. The toppings are definitely very unique, cute flowers, the butterfly was so cute and something I hadn't seen before. I also had one of their delights that the barista recommend to me. I was worried it might be too sweet but it was perfect. Parking was not too bad to find despite being in little Italy. Would love to come back and try more! read more

I finally attended one of their awesome events. This one was a Christmas cookie decorating night. The owners were there. They were so gracious, warm and made us feel like guests in their home. Fun to talk to and have an obvious love and appreciation for their space. The ambiance is very aesthetic, feminine and pink. There is an upstairs loft area that is very spacious. Apparently they host yoga here, as well as events sometimes. read more

The elevated Yelp ratings are deserved. My cappuccino was rich in texture and wonderfully delicious. The pastry was a step above the "Little Debbie" type commercial brands, and had a generous filling. This small shop outdoes itself, although it does close a bit early - 4 pm. Let me start by saying the coffee has great flavor. The decor is adorable and all super pink. Thats about where the good parts end. The service is very lackluster. We were extremely disappointed walking in on Valentine's Day, and the fact that there were very few people inside the store should have showed up something was up. You're definitely paying more than you should be too. For the one time it's worth it but definitely not a place to make it your regular coffee spot. They also missed the mark by giving us our coffee in paper cups even though we sat inside. Very disappointing read more

How sweet were the girls here. We drove from LA just to try their drinks and walked in right as they were closing and not taking orders. I went back to Miracle Potion for the afternoon tea experience with my 3 girlfriends and it was so amazing. Staff was super nice, you can tell they care a lot about their customers. The place is really cute and the girl at the register was very nice. The cafe is not big, 3 tables inside and I believe one outside. The two drinks i got were just okay. My matcha just tasted like milk, i couldn't taste the matcha. The pink coffee was nothing special either. They decorate them cute with roses and butterflies but still didn't taste all that great. I ordered the chocolate croissant and was disappointed because there was only a small piece of chocolate inside. Place was cute but I wouldn't visit again. read more

I attended the grand opening this weekend and they did a good job of making it known with the balloon arches (all pink to go along with the whole aesthetic). Since it was the grand opening, the owner was there and talked to each guest and made us feel welcomed. It is a great location kitty corner from Santa Fe Station with a little outdoor area, indoor cafe with an upstairs that I have been told is also used for yoga. As mentioned, it is all pink inside and the pastries and coffee are themed as well. I ordered the miracle pink latte with oat milk and the honey crumb cupcake. The coffees appear to be similar to Starbucks pricing but I was a little surprised that a cupcake was $8, however, it was definitely a good cupcake with all the sugary sweet goodness. Once I got my coffee, I went upstairs into the loft area where they have some pink tables & chairs as well as beanbags. A nice touch is the instagrammable wall that says "cheers to more life" and various board games. I will definitely be back to try more items and possibly join for a yoga session! read more

Update to my previous response: owner reached out to me which I did appreciate and she tried to make the situation better, however, offered my friend and I a refund only to take it away at the end. I do wish this whole situation was handled a lot better and more professionally. It left me feeling like she would only give me a refund if I removed my yelp review which made me question the ethics of their business. I would've gladly updated the review and talked about how kind the owner was for trying to make up for my poor experience and taking accountability for what happened, however, basically insinuating that I can only get a refund because you don't want to look at my review and it hurts your feelings is strange. read more

I'm confused why the reviews here are so positive. I had tea here today and it was not good. For $49/person I think it was a huge ripoff. First, the atmosphere is awful. The space itself needs to be re-done. The paint is cracking. The lighting is sparse. The floral decor is cheap. The wait staff seems to have no idea what is on the menu. I asked what cold drinks they have. The waitress said "none." What??? I asked her what came on the tea tray and she didn't know either. The food in the tea service was not tasty. The sandwiches didn't have enough cream cheese. The salmon didn't taste very fresh. The pastries were bland. The fresh biscuits were decent. I was very disappointed. read more

Sadly, for those of us who are disabled, (2 of the 3 of us were), not informed that tea room was upstairs and No elevators. Did their best to try to accommodate us, but was physically very uncomfortable, squeezing us into the limited space with a small table and hard plastic chairs, in downstairs area. What an amazing discovery today in Little Italy! We were leaving the farmers market on a 'walking around the area' mission when my date got cranky and begging for a coffee and a pastry. Miraculously, Miracle Potion signage on the street pointed us in the right direction. I was wearing one of my Barbiecore cute mini dresses (no, I didnt get enough and the year is not over yet) and was like wowowow my kind of place. I found everything super girlie and cute. My guy didn't say a peep about that, he got the best berries Danish of his life and hey, the coffee is Colombian, enough said. We went upstairs and noticed they do some yoga classes some days (check the schedule) and seems like a place to go and enjoy quality time with your girlfriends. I had a blast matching with the walls and chatting with the owner, from Colombia that came to the US very young and started to make pastries at a tender age. When I tell you this is the cutest coffee shop ever I mean it. The vibes are immaculate. If you like pink, you will love this place. We were pleasantly read it by young lady, by the name of ruby send it to us in a very sweet and cordial way. I ordered a Cortada, which is made as good as could be made with whole milk. I ordered a cinnamon roll, which was very cinnamony and sweet, I also ordered a prosciutto quiche which was served warm on the outside, but cold in the middle.the chocolate croissant was warm and yummy. We actually went to the speakeasy inside ASA Bakery the night before and got the Tokyo Banana…read morecocktail. Once I saw they offered a Tokyo Banana Latte during the bakery cafe hours, it was a no brainer to come back the next morning for breakfast. ASA was easy to find. The line was almost to the door when we arrived, but it moved at a fair pace. They offer a good variety of pastries, matchas, coffees, baguettes, and even some lunch sandwiches. I also love that they stay open later than your typical bakery, so it's a nice option whether you want breakfast, an afternoon coffee, or something later in the day. You select your pastries cafeteria style before ordering your drinks at the register. We got two baguettes, the Spicy Sausage and the Caviar. Both had that crispy, slightly harder baguette texture that gave them a really nice crunch. The Spicy Sausage had a good amount of heat with a savory, meaty filling that paired really well with the bread. If you like fish roe, I definitely recommend the Caviar Baguette. It was buttery with that rich salty umami flavor you get from fish roe without tasting overly fishy. I was passing through the train station from LA to San Diego and I saw this pastry shop right next door. I ordered a cappuccino and a honey cupcake for a quick snack before a court meeting. You can tell food is super fresh and I just loved it. staff is super friendly and the desserts are out of this world. I went again today to work a little bit and usually I get regular matcha but I wanted to try something new. I got the Miracle Pink Matcha . The best Matcha I ever tried. Definitely recommend. The banana pudding portion was smooth and decadent on top of that rich coffee. Both drinks felt thoughtfully made. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the drinks. The person taking our order wasn't particularly welcoming. The interaction felt very transactional despite there being no line behind us. I don't expect a whole conversation, small talk, smiles, or hugs when I'm ordering coffee. It was more so the overall tone of the interaction combined with what we overheard while waiting. The staff were joking about how someone ordering a Blueberry Latte was giving "70-year-old" while a Strawberry Matcha was giving "clean girl." Obviously I wasn't offended, but it felt a little tone-deaf to have that conversation with customers right there. I'm 21 and would happily order a Blueberry Latte! Coming from someone who has worked in food service, those are conversations you save for when customers aren't around. They also asked for our names when ordering, only to call out "I have your drinks at the counter" when they were ready. Just little things that made the experience felt less welcoming. The drinks are excellent. I just wish the customer experience reflected the same level of care.

I tried the iced latte "Dirty Horchata," and it was so delicious!! They also have pastries and serve breakfast burritos, unique Tiger Waffles, sandwiches, and customizable breakfast toasts. One other thing, the Tiger Cafe website menu prices it at $13.00 but the store wall menu says $16.75, I asked the lady behind the counter and she said they raised the prices several months ago, (she also informed me that they are pre-baked then re-heated when ordered,) this discrepancy is not right! But regardless of the price it would be worth paying it for fresh baked, hot and tasty, which it was not!

They have seating inside with wood tables and some high tops and a little patio in the front as well. Staff was warm and welcoming. I like the fact that they had a variety of everything like omelette, French toast, açaí bowls, pastries and of course a variety of coffee. I opted for a rose late and an açaí bowl. We got our order within 10min. The açaí bowl was perfect with strawberries, bananas, granola and a honey drizzle. For the price, you get a generous portion that was absolutely filling. The coffee was amazing, it actually tasted like coffee, wish they had a location in Los Angeles.

The female barista never smiles, performs like you're bothering her or maybe thats her resting face. She was there the third week of May. This is my second time visiting and she still gives an annoyed vibe. She was the only worker there so maybe she was overwhelmed. I let it go the first time but two days later she was with a second worker and still had a sour attitude. On the other hand, the cashier was exceptionally nice and very helpful. I will continue to purchase beans because for organic prices and the quality they are a cut above, however I don't like my latte served with a side of bad attitude. Santee.
