We stopped to charge outside is more than 25 chargers So been lunch time and we hadn't eaten so let try this taco shop We walked up to the door and noticed a sign Restrooms for customers only Okay Well we go inside to order And it's clean and busy But no welcoming Are came out fairly quick you see a man cooking It smelled good We received our 3 tacos A lot of meat of my carne asada I made two tacos Her tacos looked good but I didn't want to take bite I wasn't feeling like pork Al pastor 2 tacos The owner was not friendly at all I could hear asking if customers if they ate here... To use his restrooms When I asked for a key he said a lady had it And he said has clean restrooms After I asked if I could these photos Very helpful He's a small business own But if he was maybe a little nicer with people coming to charge and there a gas station here and this Mis Pinchis Tacos here. Maybe they would want to buy more food

Do not eat here if you're charging your Tesla. The customer service was extremely disappointing. Before I could even use the restroom, I was told I had to purchase something first. It was frustrating because it should have been obvious that my entire family and I were there intending to eat. A little common sense and courtesy would have gone a long way. I was already willing to overlook the restaurant's B health grade and give this place a chance, but after the poor customer service we received, that turned out to be a mistake. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. Do your family a favor and don't come to eat here.

Permanently closed?!?! As of 4/8/26, 1:40pm, this restaurant was definitely OPEN! Good thing we didn't eat here. :-/ It's in front of the Tesla charging station so we thought it would be ok to use the restroom and stay inside in the AC, while charging. They require you to buy something to use the restroom. That's fair, except that their soda can is $3.00 each. When you probably can buy a six-pack around that price. Oh well. Bathroom was clean.

Have been stopping here otw to Vegas. The Al pastor is actually very fresh and juicy. Love the char on it. They also have a self-served sauce bar with yummy salsa, lemon, cucumbers, radishes, jalapeños. All their 3 salsas very good !

We were greeted right away and the gentleman took our order. Pinches Tacos never misses. Stopped by and ordered the super nachos and they were loaded to the max -- perfectly seasoned carne asada, crispy chicken strips, and the unexpected but amazing addition of tater tots that took it to another level. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, with generous portions that definitely hit the spot. Service was smooth and the vibe was chill. If you're looking for comfort food with bold flavors, this place is a must. Will definitely be back.

First time visiting while traveling with my family and stopping for a quick bite. I appreciated the sign stating that restrooms are for customers only, especially since the Shell gas station across the street had public restrooms with a long line. However, the customer service was disappointing. While I was placing my order, the cashier stopped assisting me to help another customer with a receipt issue. I did not like this, as it was my turn and my order should have been completed first. He also began handing out other ready orders, which is understandable, but a simple "sorry, please wait" would have made a difference. There was also no greeting. I'm giving three stars mainly due to poor customer service. On a positive note, they did have utensils and a salsa bar, which was nice. We ordered a corn cup and a chicken taco. The food was decent, but the prices felt high--over $4 for one taco with less chicken, and over $5 for the corn cup, with very little cheese added.I don't mind paying since it's middle of highway BUT should've added More chicken and more cheese to the food.

Best Mexican food for a rest stop. I got a huge carne asada burrito. Some people might say it's pricey but after a few hours of driving, you'll be craving this. The service was like any other normal taco shop. Great rest stop all around, especially if you drive a Tesla. A lot of Tesla charging stations and next to a Shell for gas vehicles.

Great quality, great quantity, great value. This Mexican food spot is located just past Barstow on the 15 making it an awesome restaurant stop. Stopped here to just take a breather and stretch but my girlfriend and I ended up stopping inside the shop and bought a few tacos since we were going to use the restroom. Honestly I didn't expect much considering it's a shop located in the middle of "nowhere" with no competition around but I was massively surprised by how delicious the tacos were. The price was similar to what many of the taco stands in my area are charging and they offer a larger selection of meat with awesome amenities. The tripe here was other-worldly. They also had a birria taco which was also quite delicious. The staff there was primarily Spanish-speaking but was able to communicate with us with serviceable English so I didn't feel like any of my needs weren't met. Their restaurant is also extremely clean and they have a very clean restroom also. Super cute and cozy spot for a pit stop. You won't be disappointed by the food here.

There's a lot of fast food chains along Hwy 15. Why settle for Taco Bell or Del Taco when you can try something different? This taco joint caught my eye with the sombrero & eye patch-wearing skeleton head signage. Every exterior window had mouth-watering pictures of tacos and burritos. It was over 100 degrees today. The air conditioner was broke inside. That didn't stop me from ordering 3 tacos: al pastor, chicken, and carnitas. Service was a bit slow during lunch time. Their tacos are pricier, but tasted much better than the usual fast food versions.

If you come here to charge your Tesla, or need gas (there's a shell next door) give this place a try, worth every bite! The food is cooked to order get the el pastor / carnitas tacos, if you like nacho cheese definitely get the nachos. The chips were hot and crispy the best! Everything we order was delicious! This is one of those places where you should not judge the book by its cover.

Stopped by Mis Pinches Tacos and got some tacos a quesadilla and the corn cup with the fam and wow--everything was perfect. The hot salsa was so creamy and packed with flavor. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, honestly better than Los Cholos back home. The guacamole was super fresh and really good too. Plus, it's right by the Tesla Superchargers, so it's the perfect spot to pull over and recharge on the way to or from Vegas. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Love that I can grab some tacos while charging my car. We ordered asada tacos and chorizo tacos. Chorizo tacos were packed with flavor, but the asada tacos were lacking a lot of flavor. I did see a review from a month ago that also claimed the same about the flavor and the owner replied.. but it seems that hasn't changed. If they would flavor the or marinate the meat for longer their tacos would be delicious. If I'm super hungry and need to charge I will stop by again and get their chorizo tacos. read more

Absolutely delicious tacos. I live in South Orange County... San Juan Capistrano to be exact, and I'm surrounded by taco places. This place has authentic and quality meats and foods. The tortillas, you can almost taste the butter in there so good. I am so glad that I stopped here because I had to use the restroom and decided to give them a shot. On my way to Las Vegas and I decided to stop and have tacos. Recommended by the YouTube Wonder Hussey channel. I was in my Tesla so perfect. It has many Tesla chargers. As soon as I walk in the door, there's a giant aroma of urine. I walked to the cash register. I can still smell it. I order a couple tacos. Sitting in my car for a couple hours I had to use the restroom and the smell in there was almost overwhelming. Obviously something is backing up or leaking sewage. I walked across the room and couldn't smell the odor. So he brought my tacos where I was seated far away from the cash register. Listen, his tacos were great, but when you're ordering tacos right in front of the cash register and there's a strong odor of urine, you could lose your appetite easily. You guys need to get seriously somebody out there to fix your sewage lines. I would've given you a 5 stars for the tacos and having Tesla chargers right outside the door, but the odor in your restaurant and bathroom just killed it for me. read more

Stopped by to grab a quick lunch while charging. Taco was $3.25, but single order comes with 3 (3 x 3.25) and you can only pick 1 type of meat. We ordered Asada taco and super nacho. Service was good too! The amount of food (specifically the amount of meat) was A LOT! It can easily be turned into 5-6 tacos, but they just put that much amount of meat on top of 3 tacos! Most jacked up place to stop and charge your Tesla or even eat They won't let you use their bathroom unless you buy any of their ridiculously high priced items. A quesadilla for $16 I will never stop there again and I hope they go out of business for their backward business sense. I would leave NO star but I have to put 1 at least to post this! read more

I didn't get a chance to order, or get a word out. The place was empty and the person behind the counter refused service because I had a 4lb chihuahua. Outside it was 109. No pets allowed. Rude and bad service. I won't be stopping to charge my car here anymore. read more

We stopped here because it's next to a Tesla supercharger. Wow! They are delicious! I am Mexican and have tried a ton of tacos and these where super yummy. My husband also loves them and he's always skeptical about tacos places, but he was even glad we stopped. I also give them credit because they make their tacos fresh! So expect to wait about 10 mins, but I promise it will be worth it. read more

I have to revise my review up to 4x stars. The tacos are very good and so are the tamales. The Agua Fresca drink is good with the spicy salt on the rim. However.... The economics at these EV charger locations needs some thought. More chargers, more EV owners buying food and stuff. Right now the Shell station next door is carrying an inordinate portion of the load Because... Restrooms out of service at this restaurant. They don't seem to have any urgency about repairs. Trash cans in the parking lot are overflowing. read more

Too bad I didn't even get to try the food before writing this review. The owner had such bad attitude. As you walk in you're greeted with a menu board that has hand written prices. Then as you walk to the counter to order, there are TV screens with the same menu items but with different prices. The owner didn't explain the price difference as I was ordering. When I asked her she gave me attitude. Horrible service! We won't be stopping at Yermo Sunrise Canyon Supercharger to charge anymore. read more

I was curious and went in to check it out while charging my Tesla. Upon entering, it smelled rancid like rotten flesh/meat...not at all what a food establishment should smell like. It was completely off putting and I lost my appetite. I'm not a picky eater and wanted some tacos, but it smelled like someone forgot to take out the trash or there was something decaying in their kitchen. Their bathroom smelled better. Sorry for the bad review as I didn't even eat the food, but the smell was overpowering. read more

Delicious tacos!! I rarely stop to charge my car in Yermo - always seems bigger in Barstow but today coming from Vegas I stopped at Mis Pinches Tacos and they were excellent. I recently went to Mexico City, the Al pastor here was way better!! The woman at the resister was outside cleaning the glass door when I arrived and let me in. She was super nice. I ordered and it came out hot and fast. Was seriously delicious. It's clean in there and was the perfect charging stop. Definitely will stop again!! read more

Stopped by because my galpals & I needed to use the Tesla Supercharger outside. The day I went/July 16, '23 the grill wasn't working so food items were very limited; I was able to order a tamale but when I got it it was cold in the middle. It took another 10 minutes to get another when I would've been fine with them just warming it up in the microwave. Thank goodness I didn't have my heart set on Taco's! Everything seemed overprice! Their menu prices were written on masking tape and covered/changed a few times. read more

We saw this restaurant and it caught our eye by the name. We decided to stop by and give it a shot and it was delicious! The portions of food are huge! We came at 10 am on a Saturday morning and they only had Asada, Pollo, Chorizo, and Pastor ready. Our party of 8 ordered curly fries, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos. We were the only party at the restaurant and service was pretty good and food was ready relatively fast. The place isn't the cleanest and restrooms aren't too clean either. read more

I am so glad this place caught my eye on the way to Vegas. It was the perfect spot on our way home. After 4 days of partying at the pool at our resort, all I wanted was some tacos and a nap on our ride back to OC. This place was fantastic!! The carne asada tacos were off the charts! The meat was so juicy and the tortillas were perfect. My husband also had al pastor and pollo. He was impressed by both and loved the pineapple in the al pastor. We shared a side of beans with chips. Everything was so amazing and this will definitely be a tradition on our way back from Vegas. I encourage everyone to try it out. You can eat chain fast food any ol time! This gem is definitely worth a shot. read more

After reading some of these reviews and passing it several times on our way home from Vegas, we decided to give it a chance. I'm going to counter respond to some of the reviews: 1) it's not small. There is plenty of sitting room. 2) it's not expensive. This is the going rate for fast food lately. If you think $2.99 for a nicely meat filled taco is too much--stay home. 3) there is definitely a soda machine. Plus many other choices in drinks. 4) nobody has a bad attitude. Service was polite and fast. I'm not there to make lifelong friends with the employees. My own observations. Carne asada is fresh. A little salty which is good for a Vegas hangover. The corn cup is delicious. I could have just had that. It was huge and filling. The salsas are delicious. Clean restrooms also. It's not a 5 star place, but definitely more than 3. read more

If I can give this place a 0 star review on costumer service I definitely would. This lady next to me ordered a Asada Bowl. She order just before me so her and waited 28 mins until her number was called. The lady noticed they gave her a burrito instead of the bowl she ordered. She politely let the cashier know her order was a bowl. Cashier did not know how to handle the situation so she spoke to her manager. Manager said I'm a careless attitude, if she wanted to another 20mins to make her bowl if not she'll give her money back. She decided to give her money back but the manager refused to refund her money on her debit card. She gave her cash instead. Careless and empty apology was given to the lady who wasted her time ordering at this place. I've seen bad customer service before but damn. I'm glad it wasn't me. Oh and make sure if you decided to order make sure these people don't scam you and add the cost of extra cheese as "sales tax" cashier did this to me and she said the machine wasn't programmed it was only an addition $.75 on my order but geez they are very shady. She couldn't even give me a receipt. Chicken Tamales are good though, if they have them available. read more

WOW! Gem in the desert alert. Conveniently next to Tesla super chargers this is a MUST stop for any serious taco enthusiast on the road to Vegas. I had 3 Al pastor tacos which were street taco style... with max love in prep. I mean it had charged pineapple, amazing salsa, the pastor has incredible flavor. I also got the corn in a cup with hot Cheetos on top which is a authentic classic to complement the tacos. I totally approve as a San Diego Taco/burrito expert. We stopped here to charge the car but no way would we eat here again. The bathrooms were outrageously disgusting. And the food was not very good. It's too bad they don't want to make it a place people want to go because the superchargers here is great. Related question. Why can't I give a place zero stars read more

Stopped here to charge the Tesla and get some quick food. Customer service left much to be desired. I was charged $21.54 for a plain order of fries ($10) and $9.99 for a set of tacos. Cashier took my payment and didn't tell me the amount due. So I kindly asked for a refund for the fries. He then gives us back all of our money in cash.. We stated we still wanted the tacos. He noted it would be now 35 mins for the food so we left. Went to the unisex bathroom - one stall and two urinals. And there was no toilet paper. Will definitely not be back to this location. read more

On a recent trip from Vegas back to L.A. we had to stop at the Yermo Tesla charging station. We originally went to the gas station across the way, but they were super packed, so we decided to stop at the taco stand instead. We decided to use the restroom first before we ordered and were immediately greeted by a rude employee who told us, "The bathroom is for customers only. The gas station bathroom is free for Tesla chargers." I told him we would be ordering after we finished in the restroom. We ended up only ordering a small strawberry water. The reviews told us all we needed to know about the food. The drink was overpriced for what you get. As we were waiting for our drink, he also told a woman with a service dog that dogs are not allowed here. She explained to him that it was a service dog, but he told her it didn't matter and they needed to leave. It's unfortunate because Im sure this place could do well given all of the tesla traffic, but I guess they don't care. read more

I wish I would have taken a photo. I'm so bummed the food was devasting compared to past photos. I love hole in the wall places but we stopped here to charge and I couldn't take more than a bite or two. I ordered the super nachos with seasoned pork. It was literally bagged chips, with canned nacho cheese, and what looked like mole that was sooo salty and thick and rubbery pork (as if it had been reheated multiple times and cooked down to just thick tomato paste) and a green guac sauce. There was no pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro, nothing that would make it into super nachos. So disappointing. The photos on here are very misleading and I'm sure when they first opened the place was great but now it was 1 guy working the kitchen and poor girl at the counter telling everyone who came in that they needed to buy something to use the restroom. read more
