I rarely post any reviews, but this place was bad. Everything feels dirty. Grime all over the walls and surfaces. Stopped to charge the car and needed to use the restroom which are for paying customers only. Thats ok and understandable. They have pictures of big, yummy looking frescas with chamoy rimmed cups and fruit. They don't sell those. Settled for an iced tea. It tastes like what I imagine sewer water tastes like. Hubby and I took one sip and still feel gross about it. So gross that I had to write this review. Go to Barstow Del Taco instead of stopping here! read more

My first trip to Las Vegas driving my electric car. My map is telling me I'm going to arrive with only 8% left in the battery, so I pulled off the 15 to too off at the Tesla super charger...hooked up, and this place is right next to the bank of chargers. It was lunch time, so got an asada and a carnitas taco!! Good stuff...the charger is not busy in the middle of the day. I have a feeling this is going to become my stop to top off my battery in the future. Good food, nice people working the counter. read more

Went back in January, on my way home from Vegas. I could not find a single good spot in vegas, and I was very hesitant to try this place, but I'm so glad I did. We went originally for birria, but they didn't have it, so we opted for carne asada tacos. Just thinking back about how they tasted makes my mouth water haha. The meat was very flavorful and tender, and the tortillas were the perfect texture. Some places over cook it and they become hard, or some places give them to you soggy. Not this place. It was just right. Do not hesitate to stop here. Normally I get a picture of the food, but they looked and smelled so good that I had forgotten to take one. Writing a review bc the reviews are funny and bipolar. Are you going to get service with a smile? Maybe not. But is the food good? Yes. Would I come back? Yes. Does the restroom smells like a restroom? Yes. Lastly, I asked for asada nachos but got nacho fries. But I'm not upset I'm hungry and it was good. One star less for the wrong order. We stopped here to supercharge and there were tons of mixed reviews, a lot of them not so great. We decided we weren't going to stay here, but the charges were so fast and the kids started getting hungry we decided to try it anyways, and we're glad we did! First off, to address immediate concerns: 1) Restrooms are customer only. It's so annoying the way they have this setup because the employees are constantly interrupting taking your order to yell at people who walk in that the restroom is customers only. They need to switch to one of those coin systems or something to make it clear. The women's restroom had no lock, but you have to pull up on the handle to open the door (lol). The men's restroom has a code you need to ask the front for. With that said, the restrooms were reasonably clean. 2) There are a lot of reviews mentioning really bad smells, but when I was there, I noticed no such smells, and I have quite a sensitive nose for these sorts of things. So either I got lucky, or it's clearly not as bad as some reviewers made it out to be (probably a combo of both). Ok, so this is not some sort of fancy taco stand. It's more on the casual side. they have a reasonable well stocked complimentary salsa bar, so please take advantage. The burrito is mission style (i.e. rice and beans in it), for those of you from southern california who aren't used to burritos like that. The protein quality was all decent, and on par with typical taco stands of this caliber. The guys working there the day we went were very personable and friendly (despite constantly yelling that the restrooms were for customers only). Never got a chance to get food as the front door was locked, I knocked and pull the door and nothing, only after several minutes did I guy emerge from the kitchen area and move towards the door where he wave me off!? WTF I then look though the window to see if there was someone else and he looks at the window and gives me the back of his fist! What even is that. So as I'm writing this review another car pulls up and several Hispanic males get out and the guy opens the door for them and the promptly locks it back before I could even get to the door. I did see a review from a month ago that also claimed the same about the flavor and the owner replied.. but it seems that hasn't changed. Stopped by Mis Pinches Tacos and got some tacos a quesadilla and the corn cup with the fam and wow--everything was perfect. The hot salsa was so creamy and packed with flavor. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, honestly better than Los Cholos back home. The guacamole was super fresh and really good too. Plus, it's right by the Tesla Superchargers, so it's the perfect spot to pull over and recharge on the way to or from Vegas. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Stopped by to grab a quick lunch while charging. Taco was $3.25, but single order comes with 3 (3 x 3.25) and you can only pick 1 type of meat. We ordered Asada taco and super nacho. Service was good too! The amount of food (specifically the amount of meat) was A LOT! It can easily be turned into 5-6 tacos, but they just put that much amount of meat on top of 3 tacos! On my way to Las Vegas and I decided to stop and have tacos. Recommended by the YouTube Wonder Hussey channel. I was in my Tesla so perfect. It has many Tesla chargers. As soon as I walk in the door, there's a giant aroma of urine. I walked to the cash register. I can still smell it. I order a couple tacos. Sitting in my car for a couple hours I had to use the restroom and the smell in there was almost overwhelming. Obviously something is backing up or leaking sewage. I walked across the room and couldn't smell the odor. So he brought my tacos where I was seated far away from the cash register. Listen, his tacos were great, but when you're ordering tacos right in front of the cash register and there's a strong odor of urine, you could lose your appetite easily. You guys need to get seriously somebody out there to fix your sewage lines. I would've given you a 5 stars for the tacos and having Tesla chargers right outside the door, but the odor in your restaurant and bathroom just killed it for me. read more

We stopped here because it's next to a Tesla supercharger. Wow! They are delicious! I am Mexican and have tried a ton of tacos and these where super yummy. My husband also loves them and he's always skeptical about tacos places, but he was even glad we stopped. I also give them credit because they make their tacos fresh! We saw this restaurant and it caught our eye by the name. We decided to stop by and give it a shot and it was delicious! The portions of food are huge! We came at 10 am on a Saturday morning and they only had Asada, Pollo, Chorizo, and Pastor ready. Our party of 8 ordered curly fries, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos. I have to revise my review up to 4x stars. The tacos are very good and so are the tamales. The Agua Fresca drink is good with the spicy salt on the rim. However.... The economics at these EV charger locations needs some thought. More chargers, more EV owners buying food and stuff. Right now the Shell station next door is carrying an inordinate portion of the load Because... Restrooms out of service at this restaurant. They don't seem to have any urgency about repairs. I am so glad this place caught my eye on the way to Vegas. It was the perfect spot on our way home. After 4 days of partying at the pool at our resort, all I wanted was some tacos and a nap on our ride back to OC. This place was fantastic!! The carne asada tacos were off the charts! The meat was so juicy and the tortillas were perfect. My husband also had al pastor and pollo. He was impressed by both and loved the pineapple in the al pastor. We shared a side of beans with chips. Everything was so amazing and this will definitely be a tradition on our way back from Vegas. I encourage everyone to try it out. You can eat chain fast food any ol time! Too bad I didn't even get to try the food before writing this review. The owner had such bad attitude. As you walk in you're greeted with a menu board that has hand written prices. Then as you walk to the counter to order, there are TV screens with the same menu items but with different prices. The owner didn't explain the price difference as I was ordering. After reading some of these reviews and passing it several times on our way home from Vegas, we decided to give it a chance. I'm going to counter respond to some of the reviews: 1) it's not small. There is plenty of sitting room. 2) it's not expensive. This is the going rate for fast food lately. If you think $2.99 for a nicely meat filled taco is too much--stay home. 3) there is definitely a soda machine. Plus many other choices in drinks. 4) nobody has a bad attitude. Service was polite and fast. I'm not there to make lifelong friends with the employees. My own observations. Carne asada is fresh. A little salty which is good for a Vegas hangover. The corn cup is delicious. I could have just had that. It was huge and filling. The salsas are delicious. Clean restrooms also. It's not a 5 star place, but definitely more than 3. read more

Delicious tacos!! I rarely stop to charge my car in Yermo - always seems bigger in Barstow but today coming from Vegas I stopped at Mis Pinches Tacos and they were excellent. I recently went to Mexico City, the Al pastor here was way better!! The woman at the resister was outside cleaning the glass door when I arrived and let me in. She was super nice. The day I went/July 16, '23 the grill wasn't working so food items were very limited; I was able to order a tamale but when I got it it was cold in the middle. It took another 10 minutes to get another when I would've been fine with them just warming it up in the microwave. Thank goodness I didn't have my heart set on Taco's! Everything seemed overprice!
