Rigatoni with vodka sauce and a ball of burrata

Pasta -outta this world Sauce- chefs kiss Service- one of a kind. Give Natasha a raise!!!! We loved her. Vodka sauce, bolognese, tortellini, rigatoni, gnocchi and tiramisu was beyond amazing. Best homemade pasta and sauces. Must try. 10 out of 10.

We came here on a Dallas day trip and it was hands down one of the most memorable pasta meals I've had in a long time. We started with the focaccia and burrata with pesto--delicious textures and flavors. Now, on to the pasta. It is going to be on the saltier side for a meal overall--thanks to those salty Italian cheeses. I ordered the #30, pasta with vodka sauce, and it hit the spot perfectly. It reminded me of when I had this same dish in Rome years ago for the first time. Every element tasted so fresh and the dish smelled and tasted incredible. I also tried the creste di gallo -- cute pasta shape (like a rooster comb) with broccoli rabe, sausage, and garlic breadcrumbs. Again, a total winner--the broccoli rabe flavor permeated the dish and the sausage had such good flavor and texture. I think it was the favorite dish at the table. Lastly, I tried the truffle fettuccine--also delicious! One more exciting addition to our meal was a cannoli--you can see the fresh orange zest and it had a hint of anise. I don't think I've ever had a better cannoli--it was filled with a luscious cream that was rich and had such a good texture. It has a very European (yet still casual Texas eatery due to the counter service) vibe...no ice for your water, flavored sodas in all the flavors you'd find in Europe. Truly, this is some of the most delicious pasta I've ever had, period--including Italy and NYC. And my family is Italian and makes homemade pasta so...just saying.

Somewhere between a fast food and a sit down restaurant vibe. The gal behind the counter was very nice and helpful. You order at the counter and the pasta is in to go dishes which is a good idea as the portions are large. We had the rigatoni bolognese (good but not the best I've had) and the cacio de pepe (very good). We also had the meatballs, I'm a tough customer when it comes to them and I thought they were ok. Overall not disappointed but I prefer our favorite Italian spot for a nice meal.

Lets get right to it. The sauce and firmness of both pasta dishes were nice. Pretty pricey though, many of them have no protein to it. It was basically order at cashier, pay and sit type of service. Self serve FILTERED water, im glad for this. Overall, nice spot, great flavors. Wish portions were bigger, or it was less expensive. Or that for that price, comes with a protein.

Ambiance: Clean, and cozy Italian pasta restaurant. Casual setting/counter order establishment. Service: The women working here were so friendly! Thank you for being patient as I tried to parse through all the yummy options available to me! Food: The pasta is made fresh in-house with family recipes passed down to the owners. You can really taste the difference in quality. I ordered the carbonara. It was super delicious and truly almost reminded me of Italy! I wish it was just more salty like the authentic version!

Pasta here is pretty good! The interior is well decorated to seem like a pasta restaurant from Italy. This is an order then sit down spot. They have filtered water, utensils, and napkins for you to grab once you order. They have two bathrooms. Now to the food: Tonnarelli alla Carbonara - good noodles - the sauce very thick Tonnarelli alla Gricia - is similar to the carbonara - is a bit simpler and less saucy Gnocchi Al ragu - there is a big portion of sauce - gnocchi is chewy I would say it is a bit pricey and would probably have it once in a while but the food is pretty good.

While in the area, I visited this establishment. It was nice and quaint. The staff were friendly. Finding it wasn't as simple as I thought, being that it's located back off between two buildings. After reading other reviews, it seems I'm not alone when it came to trying to find the location. Maybe placing a sign closer to the front would help guide future patrons. There's nothing like some fresh pasta. I ended up getting the #8 which is the spaghetti pomodoro E Basilico. I added extra sauce and meatballs. I enjoyed it. I think it was a decent amount of food for the price. I wasn't able to eat it all in one sitting. I'd definitely visit again and try something different.

This place had been on my list to try for ages! I finally had a reason to be in the area for some work and had to try it out. First thing to note, the focaccia slices they give are huge! I made the mistake of ordering two since I was sampling a couple things and it was absolutely not necessary! Their pesto and burrata is absolutely delicious but get's overwhelming after a few bites. This is great to share. I tried the fettucini alla bolognese and it was good. They serve everything in the same type of bowls so with a pasta like this that needed to be mixed, it was difficult to do so. The bowl is deep and as the pasta cools it congeals together and is hard to eat/mix. Good flavor and good portion size. I enjoyed my leftovers more the day after.

Such a great spot for hand made fresh pasta!!! The pasta is so so nicely al dente and the spicy one is incredible and so flavorful. The pesto burrata was so good too. Every dish hit and is such a great go to spot!

Pasta perfection!!! I am so glad that I found this little gem, everything about Miss Pasta was fantastic from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was casual and clean. The staff were all so friendly and professional. They have a water station next to the cutlery and also provide to-go lids/bags there so that you don't have to ask an employee. I ordered the burrata as an appetizer, tonnarelli alla carbonara for my entree, and the tiramisu for dessert - SO DELICIOUS. The food tasted fresh and made with care, I was in heaven. Pricing in my opinion was also reasonable for what you get. I can't wait to return for another yummy Italian meal. Tip: It's located towards the back, in-between Sweetwaters and Texas Roadhouse, so you wont see the signage from the front of the shopping center.

Miss Pasta was on my "Want To Try" list for a long while, and I finally got it to-go for dinner last night! It was pretty disappointing, and for a place with such glowing Google reviews, I was expecting more. To start, this is a fast casual italian place. You order at the counter, and your food is served in paper containers. However, they are charging prices you would expect from an upscale/semi-upscale restaurant ($17+ for one pasta). I ordered online, and my pickup time was 6:39pm. I arrived exactly at that time, and my pasta was cold, like it had been sitting there for a while. I think that if you are given a pickup time, the food should be ready around that time. There were also no napkins or utensils included in the bag, and it was sealed shut. I ordered the Insalata and Rigatoni "Miss Pasta". The salad was fine. The pasta was super bland and there wasn't enough sauce to coat the rigatoni. It tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all and seriously lacked flavor. The photos looked amazing online, and I was expecting much more. I would not return - this place is not worth the hype (or price). read more

Had the spaghetti carbonara. Handmade pasta is truly a difference maker, and Miss Pasta does it great! Pasta is served in a to-go bowl which you can eat inside and then grab a cover if you need to take home leftovers. A definite must try in Richardson. read more

Although the staff were super sweet, the pasta was a little too oily for my liking. The main and only flavor I was getting was salt. We also got a side of foccacia bread, and I was hoping it would be lighter and fluffier. Overall, food was decent! read more

I'm thinking I went on a bad night... I ordered the fettuccine alla bolognese, kid's gnocchi al pomodoro, and meatballs to try a little of everything. The pasta was overcooked for my liking, almost a gummy texture. The flavor of the bolognese and meatballs were very good!! I ordered online on a weeknight and the food was prepared quickly. This should be a takeout restaurant only. The set up is a fast food service, where you order at the register, pick your drink from a case, grab your silverware and sit down. The can soft drinks, 4 bucks. Side of Parm cheese, 1.75, which they don't tell you is extra. The serving size is small for the amount the charge and the ambiance is not inviting. No bread with the pasta, not sure if you could order on the side because the menu board didn't say. I much rather sit down, order a fountain drink and be served on real plates not cardboard and pay more. Pasta dishes were good but not great. read more

Delicious fresh pastas available and flavour is amazing! Note: They ask you not to substitute any of their dishes so just be aware of that. I think this place is lovely and I appreciate how kind and knowledgeable the staff is in explaining the menu and about the chef. You do get a generous helping of pasta and they have some vegetarian choices. I hope to come back soon and try this month's lamb ragú pasta as that looks amazing. The decor is really nice and I love they have fresh pastas for sale as well read more

We enjoyed Miss Pasta while staying at the hotel next door. It was our last night in Dallas. This is a hidden gem. The pasta is freshly made and SO good. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but we didn't mind it was more or less a place to get a quick meal. read more

Ordered this on an incredibly over priced app for delivery here is my take: Service: Quick, prompt.. yes Packaging: Arrived in an amazing bag that was secured with tape. Ordered the buratta/pesto appetizer and the Ricotta Tortellini entree. Both were in Spectacular "to go" containers. Cool Presentation: Absolutely gorgeous. Each tortallini was displayed evenly around the container with the sauce evenly distributed on the bottom. Garnished with basil in the middle! The buratta was lumped to the side swimming in a sea of gorgeous basil pesto & oil. However there was A LOT of sauce. Still though, picture perfect Taste: ugh here we go... buratta was literally half moisture (typically should hold some texture no matter what the temperature) nope this was pure milk/fat.. it was just bad. Wayyyy too much garlic in the pesto or perhaps the oil. The ricotta was smooth and delicious. The sauce was lacking flavor big time.. but the worst part was the actual tortellini pasta! Outside was over cooked and inside wash mushy as hell. Overall: Hard pass Fogettabout it and order pizza from Dominos instead! read more

We ordered from this place last weekend. I had heard amazing reviews from my friend, and couldn't wait to try. We ordered the following: - Fusilli alla Vodka - so good! This pasta is simply delicious. If it tasted this good during takeout, I cannot imagine how good it would be if we ate it fresh over there. Don't think. Just order this. - Rogatoni Miss Pasta - this was just ok, especially when compared to the previous dish. This felt a bit bland, and didn't taste as yummy as the other one. - Tiramisu - this was delish. I loved the way they packaged it for takeout. Overall, loved the food. Overall we had a lovely experience at Miss Pasta! The food was good, the staff was friendly and we got a ton of food for a reasonable price. We tried three appetizers and two pastas. For me, the burrata was the star! We had the burrata with pesto and the crispy caprese. Both were fantastic. My husband doesn't normally care for pesto but he said this was outstanding. The frittatina was good but he enjoyed it more than I did. We ended up having leftovers from our adventure and they reheated well. The paper bowls weren't a concern for us; we just snapped lids on the bowls when we were ready to go. This is a place I would visit again. read more

OH MY GOSH!!!! This place was amazing! I had the September Special! The flavor is delicious! I liked the atmosphere being like a quaint cafe. The staff were very nice & friendly. As you enter you, you order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. This smelled like a true Italian place. The pasta smelled very fresh!! Delightful small pasta house with homemade pasta & sauces to delight your senses. The pasta/sauce selections are preset. Order by number. Don't attempt to butcher the Italian names by trying to pronounce. We selected the #20 Tortelli Al Tartufo and the #11 Fettuccini Funghi E Tartufo. Both dishes were delicious. Sauces were correctly prepared and a delight. Walk up counter service and then pick your seat. Pasta is prepared to order. It took about 10 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed the light jazz music playing in the background. If I lived in the nearby apartments, I would be a regular for eating in or take out. We are looking forward to visiting again soon. read more

Enjoyed a pleasant dinner here. The staff was really friend and helpful and the food was pretty decent. For appetizer, I ordered the Montanara, which is Fried Pizza Dough with Tomato Sauce, Parmesan and Basil. That was the star of the show for me. My main course was Lasagna Della Nonna. I was not the biggest fan of it though it was not horrible, I would not order it again. It was too much noodle and not enough of anything else in my opinion. Even the tomato and Beef Ragu on it had only about 1 little kibble of beef. The person I had dinner with had Tortelli Al Tartufo, which was delicious, in fact so much so that after tasting it I could not eat the rest of my Lasagna. read more

How could anyone give this less than a 5 star? I've never tasted better pasta in the US at such affordable prices. I love this concept of delivering just good food without paying for the ambiance / environment of a high class italian sit down restaurant. I ordered the Tortelli Al Tartufo which was delicious - the pasta was so tender, delicate, and elegant. I also ordered the polpette (meatballs) and that proved to be an amazing appetizer. With their efficient lids, I brought the rest of my tortelli to go home and it proved to hold up well in the microwave. I gotta go back and try the rest of the menu! The staff was also very bright and cheerful. I would just recommend having some menus more at eye level rather than craning one's neck to look up. The BEST authentic Italian food we have had in the USA. Lasagna is light yet rich, thanks to the lovely béchamel sauce that is used. Bright, fresh, flavorful meatballs and soft fresh house made focaccia are to die for! The insalata is incredible! I've brought family that doesn't even eat arugula...they ate my entire salad! The carbonara tastes even more rich and fresh than what we enjoyed in Rome. The star of this meal for my family is the tortellini! The creaminess of the filling with the butter and fresh sage sauce...it's perfection! The owners are precious! They are real Italians who take great pride in their product! Hands down might be the best pasta I've had in Dallas. Better than all the fancy dancy places. Plus it's a local owned restaurant so even better. Owners might be from Napoli I believe. Very clean restaurant and all the pasta is homemade fresh. Haven't had this good Italian food since my trip in New York. Visited this location last night for dinner. This was our first time so we asked the staff how the ordering works and we received a kindly worded and welcoming explanation and offer for additional assistance. We sat, chose our dishes and ordered. We ordered Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca and Fettuccine Funghi E Tartufo. Our dishes were brought to the table in a timely manner and the server was very sweet. The fettuccini was our favorite, simple, tasty, and fresh. I would absolutely order this again. The Spaghetti on the other hand lacked flavor for its ingredients. This is my "go to" pasta dish as I love the bold flavors of the sardines and capers, however, it had minimal flavor and I was unable to taste these elements aside from a light tomato sauce. 4.5/5 IT WAS DAMN GOOD Montanara - Nice doughy fried pizza, it was topped with Parmesan cheese and it gave it a nice taste. 4.5/5, reason is because the price isn't justified, this is amazing and would love 2 for $6 dollars. Tonnarelli Alla Carbonara - Nice texture to the pasta but little too al dente, the addition of the Parmesan cheese and pork cheek, and the egg makes the pasta nice and silky. Little on the salty side but not inedible. This place is delicious and has so many vegetarian choices! The restaurant inside is very casual you go up to the counter to order and they bring the food out to your table. We got an appetizer with ricotta and their tomato sauce which was so good we ate the whole thing so quickly! I got the Ricotta Tortelli al Pomodoro. The portion size was great and the food was tasty. We have been here several times and love this place. Simply the BEST! Always delicious and served piping hot straight from the kitchen. You can really taste the difference with their house made pasta. Dang it is so good! The antipasti are a great starter. We chose number 5 - the Montanana which is Fried Pizza dough with tomato sauce, parmesan and basil. So delicious and we will definitely order that again. For my entree I ordered (an adult size) number 27 Rigatoni Alla Bolognese. Man was that fantastic. The sauce is off the charts. The portions are large and we wanted to take the leftovers home. Very easy to do since food is served in a convenient bowl and they gave us a top. They also have free filtered water available. Silly that some people have complained on Yelp about them not offering water. Geez! This is the BEST Italian restaurant in DFW! We are thrilled that we found this hidden gem. I ordered the lamb ragu pasta, the November special and did not enjoy it. I personally felt it lacked flavor and couldn't finish my bowl. I was excited for the meal but left disappointed. Even the tiramisu didn't taste as good as I thought. Would not recommend :( read more

I said it seemed it would be covered by a topping, but ok. As I was walking out, I saw the owner walk up to the checkout person and I heard her say, "he's just mad we charged for extra sauce." I didn't appreciate that being said because I didn't raise my voice or do anything other than ask and say I thought the extra sauce should be covered since I was charged for a 3 topping pizza. I wasn't rude and I didn't use a negative tone. Overall, this was disappointing for a business we frequent. I'll know next time about extra sauce.
