Stopped in for a quick bite on my layover at SFO on the way to Honolulu. The servers were very quick and efficient. My order was taken right away and drinks kept full...! I cannot complain one bit. Food was great! The restaurant's barriers and layout allow you to separate yourself from the throngs of fellow travelers traversing the SFO airport. I'd definitely eat here again.

The chicken sliders and French fries at this place are amazing! It's my kids favorite place to eat when we come to SFO. I tried Tommy Boy today - perfect blend of gin, st German elderflower and lemon twist - yummy! The waiters are always so polite and fun - since I didn't order food, he said I was on a liquid diet loved it! You can see the flights taking off - great location. The bathroom and water filling station is right across from it. Very convenient. Nice vibes!

Me and the Chicken wings at the Mission bar and grill in the SFO airport are in love and there is nothing that can tear us apart. I was at SFO for a solid 6 hours and definitely had to make a stop to Mission Bar and Grill. I may be easy to please, but whenever I'm at Mission, I have a lovely time. They play all the great 50s-80s tunes with great drinks and solid food. Sat down at the bar and immediately ordered the chicken wings- my absolute favorite and not special at all. They come out super hot with some yummy buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. The margaritas are great and get the job done! Outside of a lounge, this is probably one of my favorite places to chill and eat in SFO airport! Calm vibes, great music, and awesome staff. I'm always happy with my visits to Mission Bar and grill.

Eggs over easy, bacon, potatoes, sourdough toast and coffee with cream.

We got to SFO early and I was quite hungry for a traditional breakfast. Two eggs over easy, bacon, potatoes and coffee. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only downside was that the butter was cold and solid and the sourdough toast was barely warm. But the eggs were cooked perfect - no clear whites, and had a runny yolk. Potatoes were pleasantly browned and the bacon was cooked through. Exactly what I was hoping for. Had to request a coffee warm up, but other than that, service was attentive. The dining area lacks ambiance. I was facing the terminal walkway, but not the interior of the restaurant, so it was hard to judge. But the meal was exactly what I was looking for.

Breakfast wrap with sausage; home fried potatoes

Arriving at 6 a.m. after a 14-hour flight from Manila, and - frankly - just tired of the airport's lounge offerings, I had skipped breakfast on my flight and was looking to catch up before boarding a flight to DC two hours later. Had not been to Mission Bar & Grill before, but the breakfast menu was spot on. I ordered a pork sausage breakfast wrap ($22), that came with perfectly prepared home fries (potatoes quartered, crisply browned); that plus a double Bombay Sapphire ($48). The food was freshly prepared, came out in less than 15 minutes, and was for once reasonably sized - not so overly packed that I was going to leave anything on the plate. Sometimes, a decent grill beats the food and drink offerings we're finding airline and credit card lounges; that was the case here.

This is a solid spot to grab some food at the airport! I stopped here to get some breakfast before heading out back to stl and I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the vibe. It reminded me a bit of a first watch, which I associate with being fresh and tasty. Food comes out quickly which is always appreciated at the airport. I ordered the avocado toast and a side of eggs. The toast presentation was really nice with the orange slice and the toppings- sprouts, tomatoes, seasonings. The eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. Server was attentive and kind. It was super pricy for what you get- but that's how it goes in the airport. I'd definitely return here next time I'm at sfo!

Guacamole & chips - very lime-y

Staff was friendly. Guacamole was very lime-y. It's fine for airport food. Great light and a view of the airplanes. Good place to chill with a glass of wine while you wait for your flight.

Baklava!!! SOOOOOO GOOD!!

Quality freshness and flavor was top notch! Service was excellent, the facility was immaculate.. my husband and I stopped in for a quick bite before our flight and I was genuinely impressed. I travel a lot and let's be honest not at all airport food is good. This place hits the spot! The food was superb! Service was dynamite!! Isabella was our server and Joseph was not far behind working the other patrons. Great team! So glad I stopped in for a bite. My husband had the falafel wrap and I had grilled chicken w fries YUMMY! Chicken was cooked to perfection and flavor was on point! My fries were cooked perfectly and everything came out piping hot just like I like it! I paired my chicken w honey mustard (Isabella suggested) soooo good! Thank you xx Thank you for good vibes and excellence! Lastly we got a special treat... brought me back to my roots! Baklava!! Yum!!!!

Prawn Louie salad

SFO airport United terminal 3. Ordered the loui salad which came with shrimp, egg, and a remoulade sauce. Similar to what you would get on a poor boy. I thought it wasn't decent for airport food. Definitely on the healthier lighter side. The service was great. Very nice and attentive staff.

Club Sandwich

It's airport food. It's going to be pricey. But, it's good airport food. At least the club Sandwich was. The Bloody Mary was like a 4/10. Service was quick, and the food came out in a timely matter. If you're looking for food that isn't risky lol this is the place.

Not full, and at $5, give people a refill
Yochanan H.

I walked in and signed, "I'm Deaf" to the hostess and waiter. The waiter made some weird attempts to sign a drink. I gave him an "A" for effort, but it was an odd interaction. The burger arrived, but it was thin, I guess they're trying to conserve beef. I didn't want Mayo. It arrived with it. I knew better than to send it back. Next, the waiter disappeared for several minutes. For $5 for a soda, id expect one refill, but nope. At that time, I knew I should have purchased that bag of beef jerky and a bottle of water. On a side note, the food was fresh, thus the two stars instead of one.

Mission breakfast (scramble eggs, ham, potatoes, and sourdough toast), mimosa
Julie L.

Can't say I LOVE this place, and can't say I HATE it either. The food is good, just portions have gotten smaller and smaller each time I go there. Like I get it, some people don't have time to finish it all and to avoid waste, keep the portion small, but for those like me that go to the airport with ample time, I want to enjoy a full breakfast before my flight and to last me a full travel day if I don't get to eat till much later. Servers are pretty nice, some nicer than others but I mean I'm in and out so not too big of a deal. Your food is ready fairly quick, but I wished they had the Denver omelette still, but I guess those take a little longer to prepare. Mimosas are on the lighter side, and it's not even a full glass. So, sometimes we go for round 2 when we have a little more time. The airport is always buzzing and the ambiance is comfortable. You can sit at the bar or table and I always opt for the table so I can catch up on work. My flights are usually early so my choices are limited and usually by the E gates so this will do.

Transition via SFO airport again with hours to kill, so venture to Terminal E today to get chocolate but they are back in 30 minutes without saying how long, so might as well eat here while waiting. Yes eating here was not my original goal but he place is not crowded which is one of the perk compared to Terminal F food court. Food is good. Fresh and hot. The fries are too good which is dangerous for long distance flight so I have to limit myself! Service is excellent. Food is fast. I think if I pass by this terminal next time I will still come!!! If I have to complain, it's the music choices! I felt like I am my parents age!

This was not expected! I cannot say enough about how lovely this meal was…read more It's in the heart of one of the most industrial zones I have found myself in. When I found it, I wasn't sure it was even open. There was an area downstairs with other places that was apparently only open for lunch. Inside it felt like an office building. Lots of seating. Not a ton of people on a Tuesday night. But upstairs sat this wonderful little restaurant. I sat at the bar. So hungry. There were few other folks at the bar as well. I got the cream of asparagus soup, the house salad, and the salmon. They were all phenomenal. Truly. Fresh and unique all around. The bartender was super knowledgeable about different wines, liquors and ultimately pairings. If you are near this area for any reason, you really should try and make it here. It's beautiful. There is seating of all kinds. The lighting is great. Lots of lush plants.

Deep seated leather sofa like chairs, large glass storefront entry, dark charcoal metal utensils, airplane-themed decor and motifs throughout make quite the detailed impression. The mood is a sultry but airy dark and the environment isn't too loud so you can enjoy a conversation. Perfect place to take a date. S E R V I C E The service is formal and professional. Very top notch. Even the manager came to check that all was well. D R I N K S The cocktails are expertly crafted, creative and very good! F O O D For appetizers, we ordered the salmon ceviche and the prosciutto croquettes. We also ordered the spring salad and the steak frites to share. The salmon ceviche was too fishy for both our tastes so we did not finish it. It was quite off putting. The prosciutto croquettes were delicious, a light crunch before getting the warm savory inside flavors. The spring salad was a surprising blend of little gem, grilled asparagus, grilled broccolini, sugar snap peas, strawberry, fennel, and fava beans which I initially thought was too many textures and sizes going on, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was my favorite dish of the evening! Now the reason this review isn't a perfect 5 stars is due to the steak frites. Steak and fries are a classic staple in any high caliber kitchen. We asked for medium well steak but it looked and chewed like a well done steak. The fries were lacking, not sure if salt or more crunch was needed, maybe both. The accompanying louvre sauce was tasteless too. Overall, I definitely would return! I saw the dessert menu once had a lavender crème brûlée so someday I would love to try that!

The happy hour menu was pretty awesome as well. If you aren't interested in food but looking for a place to get drinks, the cocktails here are also on point. South San Francisco is a stones throw from where we live and even though there are some solid casual spots, we don't find too many places in this area where you can get amazing food, craft cocktails, and this kind of ambiance. With that being said we were ecstatic to discover this hidden gem. It checks all the boxes!! We ordered the Caesar salad, pozole, burger & Fries, and beef tacos from the happy hour menu. Everything was so good and I am not just saying that! The Caesar salad came served with slices of avocado. Not traditional, but absolutely delicious and nicely dressed. The burger was beautiful and juicy and cooked to perfection. It came served with those french fries that have that extra layer of crispiness.on them. I call them 'next level fries' because that's what they are. My favorite thing, hands down, were the tacos. Oh my God... the tacos!! There are a lot of great Taquerias in the Bay Area but this place can contend. I'm serious. Perfect crispy tacos that came served with this beautiful salsa verde. Truthfully we ordered so much food but the tacos were so good we got another order of them. I ordered a Paloma and it was the perfect drink to go with my tacos. This was our first and only time eating here, but this will definitely be a regular spot for us. I hope moving forward this place stays as wonderful as our experience was tonight. It's such a joy to have an experience like this that doesn't require us driving to San Mateo or San Francisco. It's about time we had places like this in this area. The staff that helped us was also wonderful. The young lady who served us was friendly and helpful with the menu, the bussers were great and there was another lady who checked in on us and helped us throughout the meal. Great service, great staff, terrific food. Please keep up the good work.

You order food separately. We are fish tacos, wings & nachos. The fish was fried and coleslaw had a touch of mayonnaise but not too much. This was my favorite dish.
