If you like cold food this is the place for you. Not the norm, but this time the bbq beans were cold, the meats were cold.

I used to love coming here considering I work so close so I would eat here maybe once s week, until my last visit I got baby back ribs and it had some weird chunks in it at first I thought maybe it's just pieces of fat or something but a few hours later I felt really sick: not sure what was in it but I will not come back. While do some work in Virginia, it was recommended to stop in and try it out. This is one of the most friendliest places I've ever been to eat. The walls are lined with military and law enforcement patches from all over the country. No doubt a very patriotic environment. I had the ribs, Mac n cheese, and bacon string beans. You can even get a tall boy can of beer (straight from the ice) at the counter. Food is great and cooked to order! I had to go back twice in the 5 days I was there. Everyday the staff come out to the dining area and all sing the national anthem at noon. Eso! I wish there was a Mission BBQ in California. Stay hungry my friends. read more

I really like how many sauces can choose from also, it's hard to find a place willing to give so many choices to put on your meats. I've never been to such a wonderful establishment in all of my life. We eat here at least once a week and I am blown away by the customer service and positive energy we experience every single visit. They have help me with doors and food and getting everything back to my car every single time we order food to go. They help me with trash, trays and grabbing to-go boxes when we eat there. The food is GREAT but the customer service is even BETTER!!! In a country where customer service has become less of a priority, it is refreshing to know it still matters to some people. Awesome spot for BBQ with great food and a bunch of different sauces to try. Get the pulled pork! I went there with some buddies for the first time a month ago and I ordered my food, then after I got my food I realized I forgot to order a side of Mac and cheese. I went up and tried to place an order for it, but the wonderful girl behind the counter said don't worry about it and brought it out to me right away and it was also really good. They're pro military and pro law enforcement and they have a bunch of patches from many agencies all over the walls. They also gave out free beer coozies with your drink. The BBQ is good. They say it is awesome TX BBQ and it is, but, being from TX I have pretty high standards. It is def the best around Quantico and the DC area. I love brisket. Theirs is dry unless you ask for it moist and then they give you slices that are more fat then meat. My daughter loves their Mac n cheese, which is awesome. Their sausage is good, pulled pork is decent, but also dry most of time. Chicken is good, ribs are way over seasoned with old bay and sauces are nice. This is a regular spot for us because there's few options for really good bbq nearby. There are a few tweaks that can be made to raise the reviews. Staff is always nice and friendly. How can this place drape their establishment in military art work, posters, and insignia but off ZERO of a discount to MILITARY MEMBERS. I hate places like this. I called to order pick up and they were super nice and said there was no wait time and that it could be ready whenever I got there. The brisket was a generous portion, but I found it to be quite dry with no marbling (the best part!). The BBQ sauces were pretty solid. The cheesy potatoes were really good! A little salty, but overall very solid. I definitely plan on trying it again in the future and will hope for better brisket! read more

This place is amazing!!! This was our first time here, and the cashier, who was very helpful and nice, was able to get us some samples to help us decide. It didn't help because all of it was really good, so me and my wife both chose a 3 meat sampler plate. Both of my kids can be picky at times, but they devoured their pulled pork and Mac and cheese, which is AMAZING!!! I also love how they honor all law enforcement, fire fighters, EMT, and military. Being a fellow USAF vet, I felt right at home here. We will be making another stop in shortly. read more

During the peak of covid mission BBQ bought a bunch of meal kits on base! The food was fresh and pretty good, it felt good to just have a good meal.
