Beef &6. Beef & Chicken Chow Mein
    Mandy A.

Small, local place for teriyaki chicken &beef. It was near my appointment place, so decided to try it. I had beef & chicken chow mein combo. The customer service is good, however, the noodle-chow mein was disappointing as it was too soggy.. I was expecting chow mein to be chewy but it was too soggy, and plain.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years! This is a great small-business that takes care of their customers and has great quality food. A perfect lunch meal with the huge portions that are provided. Take note that orders take about 15 minutes to prepare because food is cooked to order, best to call in advance. The staff is very friendly and while the place is a little small, sitting by yourself or with another will not be a problem. Definitely recommend trying this place (absolutelyA recommend their beef and chicken chow mein)!

This place was recommended to me by a friend who shares the same love for chicken teriyaki. Let me just say this place is absolutely delicious and authentic. The sauce is exactly what I was expecting and it tastes homemade. The rice noodles and vegetables covered in sauce tastes amazing. The service was quick and easy. I called ahead for pick up and it was ready in 10 minutes. The ambiance is super quiet but you can tell it's a place where people go there for a quick but tasty lunch. Will be going back again.

Way better than we thought it would be!! Pics don't do the food justice. Who doesn't love good beef with those orange chow mein noodles?? Pick up was easy. Would go again and try chicken dishes. Service was good and portions are so huge hubs had leftovers! Thanks yelp for helping us find small places like this! Bc

The large Chicken Teriyaki is amazing every time. I don't think I've eaten a better meal for $7.50. Can't even finish it, it's so much food.

We also got the bossam which was great for sharing among the group and just a perfect mix of flavors and textures. Side dishes included kimchi, pickled daikon, and fish cakes. Outside there's many plants that make walking in very welcoming. The food may be for some people, but not for me. I ordered 6 on the menu which I expected to be extremely flavorful based on its appearance, but it tasted very plain to me. I did order a more simple item on the menu compared to others, so I guess I should have expected that. My family enjoyed theirs which is good. There are plenty of other options, but they are mostly spicy; however, the side dishes are amazing! The cost is a bit pricy, but if you like it, it's worth it. This was an overall pretty good experience, and would recommend; just make sure you're a fan of this kind of food.

Having to cook dinner after coming home after a long day at work just seemed daunting Wednesday…read morenight. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to Korean food for dinner and typically we would go to Jincook, but I wanted to try something different. I found K-Street on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. There's plenty of parking in a safe parking garage which is nice! We arrived to the restaurant at around 8pm? Upon walking in we saw that they have a B rating so my boyfriend was a bit weary of eating there. Upon walking in, it was completely empty-- understandable because it was a Wednesday night. The server was a super nice woman who gave us recommendations and explained things I needed clarification for. The restaurant was cute, had street signs for streets in Korea and a huge projector that screened music videos on the wall. I'm sure the place is usually poppin' on nights when it's busy! It was really quiet because we were the only ones there but the music was a nice addition to break the silence. My boyfriend ordered the Bulgogi Dolsot, which is bulgogi with rice in a hot stone. He said the bulgogi had great flavors and the crispy rice was his favorite! The bulgogi wasn't fatty or too tough, he loved that they didn't skimp on the meat. I ordered the Hot Pot Bulgogi, it was a soup with bulgogi, some rice cakes, and some noodles. It was served with rice, but I skipped on eating the rice. The soup to me was a bit too salty! It had great umami flavor and depth to the rich flavor but I needed lemon or vinegar to break up the saltiness. The bulgogi in the soup was nice and tender, I ate basically all of the bulgogi. The rice cakes were nice and chewy, and the noodles made it feel like a complete meal. Was it worth $22? Not to me, for what it was I think it should've been around $15. The also gave us complementary banchan, but it wasn't the best. I understand we were only two people and they were bottomless, but 4 small pieces of pickled radish and 2 bites of kimchi? I could've easily eaten 5 plates of each but I didn't want the server constantly coming back to bring us more. Again, we were the only ones there so I didn't want to feel like a burden. Would I come back here again? Unfortunately not. My first impression at K-Street wasn't the best and there are plenty Korean restaurants that I personally like!

They share a restaurant space with a Korean corn dog spot which is a little confusing, but what's…read moremore confusing is how this place is super inconspicuous. You could easily walk past it and you wouldn't even know. That said, the food is pretty good. My one and only gripe however is that for some reason they do not offer pick up orders to be placed by phone OR on delivery apps. It's the strangest thing, and having to go into the restaurant in person to order to-go is a big inconvenience. I typically order the Chadol BBQ. Not many korean restaurants offer brisket (it's usually bulgogi, galbi, or chicken). So whenever I have a hankering for brisket but not AYCE, I know where to go. The brisket is tender and usually not overcooked. Their steamed mandu is chicken and pork. It's nothing special but you get exactly what you expect. Parking is pretty convenient in the parking garage right above it, with the first 45m free (no validation required).

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!!!…read more got the beef tofu soup and it was deliciousss. one of our group had burnt rice but the staff were quick to replace it. the spicy cucumber here is so good i ate like 2 plates honestly. i will say is that the spice scale isn't super accurate. i am pretty bad with spice so i got a mild and it was just ... alright... i feel like i was missing a lot of the flavor, not just heat level. my friends who got medium and spicy let me try their soups and they were way better and honestly not that much spicier. so i would say give a higher spice level a try if you want more flavor in your broth. we also ordered a bottle of soju to share and some of the spicy chicken. those were good too!

When I arrived I was seen from way in the back but never greeted. I walked back after a couple minutes passed and the lady asked me how many and I said "1" and she said sit anywhere. Ok... so now I got a seat and a menu. I gave my order pretty quickly and it came out fast. I didn't get checked on much at all but the kimchi beef tofu soup was good, a little on the plain watery side, and the sides themselves were ok. Total price was $16.99, ~$18 with tax. As mentioned by others, don't expect BCD tofu house here - but for being outside of K town this place is just OK. The inside is nothing special but it gets the job done and it's cozy. It is in a Vons shared shopping plaza so I wasn't expecting anything past basic. It's always a good sign when you have other Koreans eating at a Korean restaurant. As I was leaving there were 5 Korean patrons newly seated and seemed like it wasn't their first time. Overall Food = 3.5 Service = 2 Ambiance = 3 I might return but there are likely better places in the area worth checking out that have better service and quality.

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!…read more this place was quite busy when we walked in but we were seated immediately. parking was pretty narrow and limited in the adjacent spots but there were so many people i think they just park on the streets and walk, it's not very far. ambiance is cool they had an aquarium for me to stare at. i really liked the both of my beef tofu soup. it was served with purple rice which was pretty cool. we also ordered the rice cakes with ramen noodles and that was actually pretty spicy, spicer than my medium-level spice broth. but super good! the chicken in the combo was delicious and sizzling as well. overall i don't really have anything negative to say. servers were attentive and were more than accommodating to replace one of our items when the lid of the vinegar dispenser flew off and turned my friends cold noodles into vinegar soup essentially. big fan!
