I wish I could give this place a higher rating. Some of the food there is quite good, others can be very tasteless, however, my low rating is based off of the fact that every time I've eaten here, I've been nickeled and dined to death. $1 per (tiny) side of ranch with an order of fries, and most recently, my favorite surcharge ever, $2 for a TINY side of syrup FOR MY FRENCH TOAST? Went to breakfast with a friend this morning. I got there before my friend and they didn't want to seat me until my entire party got there. They said the boss doesn't like to do that. My friend arrived and we were seated. I got a cheese omelette which had a strange taste and texture. The home fries were burned. I've eaten there before and should have remembered that they were also burned the last time I got them. We waited at least 45 minutes to get our food. We also ordered some items for take out. After we got our items we were finishing our drinks when the owner came over and rudely told us that there were other customers waiting and we needed to vacate our seats. We were shocked since this has never happened before with the many restaurants we attend. If you don't want my business I can take it elsewhere where they ask if you want another drink and allow you to finish swallowing your food before you leave. He also doesn't want you to use credit cards. I guess he's trying to reduce the fees he pays. Needless to say, we won't be going back there again. There are better places like The Breakfast Table, and Billy's Diner were the service is great and you are not treated rudely. read more

I have been to this place four or five times in a two week span. The food is beyond good. The staff are extremely friendly and cater to your wants and needs extremely well and professionally. Ordered breakfast food, it was mediocre in every way, the price however was exceptional, exceptionally high. Expect to pay a full $2-$3 more for food that is no better than what is served less expensively, and more deliciously at every other diner in the Lehigh Valley. What's more, it tasted off, hard to pin down exactly what was wrong with it, but I could not finish my omelette. Also, the management is horrid. I've eaten here twice, the first time with acquaintances, we were told that it was against the policy of management to divide checks because they don't like paying the fees associated with processing card payments. Thanks for that. The second time, I was goaded into eating here by a friend when I would not otherwise have done so, and I was told when I settled my bill that in the near future it would no longer be possible to tip servers with cards as the management was again trying to evade fees. This is a 3rd rate diner attempting to come off as a trendy 'brunch' spot. Don't fall for it. read more

I heard the food was great. I needed a place to have brunch. BUT I never even made it to the restaurant. I called to make reservations for a party of 13, gave the specific time-11am , date-weeks ahead, that we needed two high chairs, could you accommodate us, I was nothing but nice, then I was told very rudely, "You could make the reservations but if we had other customers come in before you, we will pull the tables apart and serve them." I even then asked if I called the morning of the brunch, when they opened and asked them to hold a table would they do that? And I got the same response with attitude again. Yeah that kind of attitude would make me want to go there. Now I get they are a small business, etc. etc. but the rudeness on the phone killed me. I will never go there. read more

I didn't appreciate the rude attitude we received from the wait staff. We were the first ones seated on a Saturday at 8:30am when they opened the doors. All the tables filled up quickly as they usually do. It took us about 10 minutes before someone came over and asked us what we were drinking, we all got for and then we sat there and watched as people were being served their meals. Finally, a second waitress came by and took out food order and were asked if we wanted more coffee, because all our cups were now empty we said yes. I watched as diners were now getting and paying for their meals all while I still wanted for more coffee. After watching a girl come through with a full pot of coffee and skipping right by us as a was trying to save her down, I was ready to leave but my daughter decided to go and ask if we could get more coffee. The pregnant blonde waitress immediately got an attitude with my daughter and snapped at her. As if that wasn't pleasant enough the other waitress (Mary) decided to give us a lesson "for future reference" that the quiche takes the longest to heat all the way the and came back like 8 times in 10 minutes to sarcastically ask if we are good with coffee. That fake smile and condescending tone was just another reason I'm not going back. As with previous visits the food was good but not when they seem to go out of their way to make you feel like you're not welcome. read more

My husband, myself and our 6 year old daughter went for breakfast. We had a gift certificate to use. We heard from others that the menu is a brunch menu so prices were higher so we were prepared. They do not have a children's menu and I asked our server if they can do a kids portions of scrambled eggs, which she said yes they can. I ordered biscuits with gravy and it came with 2 eggs. When I cut into the whites of my eggs, a watery substance gushed out. I showed our waitress and she said I will be right back. When she came back she told me they cook the eggs in oil and that is why they are watery. Needless to say I did not eat my eggs, because I don't think they were cooked all the way and they were not concerned. I also asked the waitress if my daughters eggs were a children's portion because the portion was really big. She looked at me and walked away. My husband ordered oatmeal french toast, and added on a side of home fries and sausage. I added on a side of bacon. We had 2 coffee's, 2 milks and an orange juice. Our total bill was $53.00 for breakfast. They charged my daughter for an adult portion of food. When I went to pay the bill the man asked how everything was, so I questioned being charged for adult portion of eggs when I was told that they could do a kids portion. He said that they do not have a kids menu. Which I said the waitress told us that but I asked if they could do a kids portion, and she said yes. He then looked at me and said that I should have asked for 1 egg portion. Seriously The adult portion was 2 eggs, if I asked for a kids portion wouldn't that be 1 egg? He picked up a cookie and handed it to me and said here you can have this. To which I said no thank you. The restaurant was decorated very cute and clean inside. The waitress did not seem very happy to be there. We love the Breakfast table and Bean Bath Cafe. They are a little pricy but you get an excellent quality of food and service. We did not receive either here. My breakfast and my daughter's breakfast were simply eggs, home fries, bacon, toast/biscuits, and a diner could have executed that much better and at half the price. read more

Mitzi's wins a lot of local "Best Of" awards so I was anxious to try it out, with very high expectations. Four of us went for brunch on Sunday. It was crowded, but nothing crazy in my opinion. We all ordered breakfast omelets and waited over 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I understand this place is busy and privately owned, but 45 minutes for 4 omelets? I'm sorry, that is not acceptable. When the food was finally ready, the owner/chef helped bring the plates to our table and I thought we would at least get a "I'm sorry for the wait", but we did not. I had the cheesesteak omelet andwas not impressed. Let's just say, I NEVER use ketchup with my eggs/breakfast potatoes and I did for this meal. It was mediocre, definitely not award worthy. We did have the beignets and I will say they were amazing. When it was time to pay, I asked the owner if we could split the check evenly between two cards and that request was met with extreme annoyance. We were looking for a new breakfast place to try out so I came to yelp and so glad I chose this place! If it wasn't for yelp I wouldn't have known about this hidden gem. Even driving there I was surprised where it was and it doesn't look like much from the outside. Which, hey, I guess a good place doesn't need huge signs or a lot of advertising. The place is super clean and has a retro modern look, adorable! Staff is very nice! Food was delicious! We went basic, I got basic breakfast of eggs, toast, hash browns and sausage. Boyfriend got an egg and sausage sandwich with hash browns. He doesn't like whole potato hash browns, which these are, but he loved these. And they were baby red potatoes. The homemade sausage was delicious. When we were leaving they were putting out coconut macaroons and had some other yummy looking sweets on the counter, we were too full to try anything this time. Prices are a little above what a regular breakfast place charges, but the quality of the food is worth it. Not your typical greasy eggs and potatoes. We will be back for sure. read more

I came in last sunday with 2 of my friends. There was a wait when I walked in but not long. The hostess greeted me and told me a few minutes. I was taken back at the fact that she was eating a full plate of food on the stand. No one wants to walk into a restaurant and be greeted by a person with a mouth full of food. I ordered the mushroom omelette. It was great! But pricey! Music was nice and our server was very polite. My friends enjoyed there meals too. Be careful when you order as for everything cost extra money. My friend asked for extra syrup because there was barley any in the cup they gave her and they charged another dollar for a teaspoon of syrup! Took awhile for a food to come out but it was busy. Went here for breakfast on a Saturday with my husband. We have been here before however today wasn't a good day! I ordered spinach florentine Benedict with well done home fries. The dish had very little sauce on it and the potatoes lacked flavor and weren't well done at all. My husband ordered the avocado toast which sounded light and scrumptious. To his dismay the dish wasn't light at all and instead of fresh avocado the toast was spread with cold guacamole which made the eggs cold also!! When he went up to pay he informed the owner and he just said that's how it's supposed to be and -that was it?! The owner obviously lacks customer service skills and acted very apathetic to his complaints?! Let me tell you that my husband is a good cook himself and was quite surprised at the lack of flavor Of the dish and owners non caring attitude. We won't be returning to this eatery with lackadaisical owner whom doesn't seem to care if customers enjoy their dishes or not!! I wanted so much to like the food as the decore is adorable, it's close to home, and the wait staff is wonderful. However, the only reason I go out is to be treated to a delicious meal I don't have to cook. So, breakfast with nicely cooked eggs was destroyed by huge chunks of nearly raw potatoes. Now you ask, why would I even go back? My son said try lunch it is great. So I returned with an open mind and saw an Asian noodle bowl on the menu and had high hopes as it was listed under favorites. Well... I was given a small bowl of Ramin noodles with soy sauce and a few tiny strips of vegetables and 6 small pieces of tofu. Somehow the cook forgot the ginger, cabbage, and a meal size bowl when he opened the plastic on the Ramin package. To be fair, the guy at the table next to me, who knows the cook, got the biggest turkey sandwich I have ever seen! So try it for yourself, but don't get potatoes for breakfast or the noodle bowl for lunch. And at check out,be prepared to be greeted by a grumpy guy who didn't even say thank you! read more

I literally downloaded the Yelp app so I could write a review about my awful experience. First, Mitzi's is in a terrible plaza in the middle of nowhere. The decor is tacky and the service was subpar. The only good thing about this place is they let you mix and match sides. I ordered the tofu scramble which barely had any tofu. The slaw had a ton of mayo and no flavor. I enjoyed the mixed fruit, which was petit diced. The iced chai was flavorless. Overall an underwhelming experience, can't believe they are one of the top rated places for brunch in Bethlehem. read more

I eat here a lot. I love the fact the food is made to order and fresh. Also before my lung transplant the owners always worked to get me a nice spot where I felt I had enough space and could accommodate my concentrator or tanks. They also helped me raise money for my transplant with a cookie Drive. They did this on their won because they care. Wonderful caring local business with excellent food. read more

It is a little place so I am not sure why it is so hard to find your server. paying your bill is interesting. When we tried to pay the waitress stated she wasn't allowed to handle credit cards and we had to do it at the register. Ok no biggie - counter is in the back of the store and I understand why. The man running the register is rude. Not a good final impression you want your customers to leave with.
