Went here today for the second time. Previously I came a couple years ago and didn't care for the sausage (I'm a huge breakfast sausage fan), so I hadn't returned until today. I tried the classic Benedict and it was awesome! The home fries are really just cubes potatoes so they were okay but I'd rather have some home fries. Unfortunately, my family and I didn't have the opportunity to try breakfast at this small business. When I checked the wait time prior to heading to Mitzi's it told us "15 minutes for a party of three". When we arrive there were 2 other " couples " waiting. As we waited, the young hostess offered seating to a couple that had just arrived before offering it to those who had been waiting at least 20 minutes. Then when our family was up next, the hostess again offered seating to a couple after us. Unfortunately, that was the last straw and we left. The hostess has no idea what he's doing. read more

This was our first time here. We have heard such wonderful things about Mitzi's Table and I have been wanting to go to see what all the hype was about! The food was absolutely incredible and such friendly service. Mary was a wonderful waitress and was very attentive and so kind. We both had omelettes- the eggs had beautiful flavor as did the breakfast potatoes. I ordered mine crispy and that was definitely the way to go! The beignets were so light and fluffy-definitely gave the ones in New Orleans a run for their money! We will be back. It's one of our new favorite breakfast spots. read more

Although I had given this place a 5 star review in the past, I am updating my review after two more encounters. My coworker and I decided to order takeout the other day. I ordered the Vietnamese banh mi sandwich and she ordered the fish tacos. Having grown up around many Vietnamese people, I know what authentic Vietnamese food tastes like. What I had here should not even be called a banh mi, but rather, a pulled pork sub. Traditional Vietnamese banh mi use sliced meat, whether it's beef, pork, or chicken. The pork on this sandwich was shredded and pulled and had absolutely no Asian flavors. Additionally, an important component of a traditional banh mi is a pate paste, which this sandwich did not have. It was also drenched in a sickly sweet honey based sauce, which is never in a traditional banh mi. My coworker was just as disappointed in her fish tacos. The fish tased just like reheated frozen fish sticks and lacked flavor. The garlic Parmesan fries were also soggy and tasteless. I decided to give them another try before submitting this review. I ordered their Asian noodle bowl in a soy ginger broth. It was terrible. Noodles tasted buttery which did not pair well with the extremely salty broth. There wasn't a trace of ginger in the broth- it was all soy. This place seems to give Asian cuisine a negative reputation. If I come here again, it would only be for brunch. read more

After going to the casino we searched for biscuits and gravy( my go to ) first result was Mitzi's. Walking in we were pleasantly greeted by Frank. Made to feel right at home immediately, which is a plus in my book! Was a Saturday morning and the restaurant was hopping! We had a short wait but the the ambiance made it go quickly! Looking at the menu noticed beignets ( get in my belly NOW )!! Our waitress was Mary (owner), made us feel right at home. Mary as well as her 2 daughters Nikki and Natasha ran the floor like a well oiled machine! I ordered the Italian Benedict AND side order of biscuits and gravy. The flavor explosion was incredible from the Benedict! The bisq were light and flakey and the gravy needed no pepper added for taste, I usually use half a shaker! Like many restaurants in the LV, Mitzi's has been struggling, in my opinion, to stay open and still continue to provide quality food for its customers. While in this struggle they have continued to provide excellent quality food and outstanding service as they revised their service hours. There is no lack of great taste at this place. I have been a customer of theirs emcee before ownership changed several years ago into the hands 3 outstanding women who charged in improved the menu selection, added a marvelous new taste profile with several new delicacies, and transformed this old guard restaurant into a new kids on the block breakfast and lunch eatery great for hungry folks of all ages! I recently (Feb. 7, 2021) had a cup of their Crab Bisque. It was chock full of real crab meat and spices that tasted so good, if you closed your eyes you would think you were having this dish on the Baltimore Wharf instead of in Bethlehem. Was in the area visiting Wind Creek and decided to look for a new place to try for breakfast. Found mitzi's on yelp and decided to give it a try - so happy we did!!! The beignets were to die for, perfectly complemented by the Jamaica Me Crazy coffee. Italian Eggs Benedict that my boyfriend had was amazing. Such a great combination of flavors brightened by the basil hollandaise. And for being such a simple dish, Eggs on an Island, dippy Eggs in French toast - perfectly executed. As an example, my wife has celiac and must-have gluten-free options and they have many to choose from and are always attentive to her allergy. An adorable, delicious, clean and friendly establishment. Small but brimming with crisp warm personality. Not your typical "diner food " where everything looks and tastes the same. The presentation of the food was picture perfect and tasted even better. We just had to try a homemade dessert (with a flavored coffee that was brewed and not squirted) and the choices were difficult to narrow down but we ultimately decided on the beignets ( New Orleans fried dough) - that was freshly made to order and piping hot and oh so good.
