The prices can't be beat, however I'd rather pay more for places that give better tasting drinks. The ice cream while inexpensive didn't taste that great, for that cost I'll just go to the Costco food court. I ordered the orange punch and it tasted like diluted orange juice with lots of rind, we also ordered the Strawberry Jasmine tea which also had orange rind in it and also tasted diluted. This place was incredibly busy, which is understandable since they just opened. Ordering online was easy, but the pickup process felt a little chaotic. There didn't seem to be a clear system for online orders, and with such a large crowd, it was hard to tell where the line started or ended. There were people who didn't have the common decency to wait after the ones who were there first. Nothing was done about that either. They were just taking whoever approached them and didn't address a line that was formed for pick up. I tried the Cookies & Cream ice cream and thought it was okay, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I can see why people are drawn to it, especially given the price point. Super cheap soft serve that has a really milky flavor, kinda like the original milkita candies, but much creamier. Texture is pretty firm, which I personally like! The place is cute; there's a bunch of snow king merch and decor, but pretty small with little seating options. A friend showed me that they had some grand opening promotion on Instagram so I decided to come here. It said there was something free with purchase of two drinks on this ad, but I looked over the entire menu and nothing existed with that name. I assume there was a line because of this, though in comparison that new place at the Spectrum still hasn't abated in line length either. The way one orders is by using a kiosk and entering one's phone number. It's a good thing I bought that prepaid phone. They had two kiosks, as seems to be the standard of most tea places. At the time they did not have a human cashier. The line was probably too long. I decided to get no sugar due to gaining too much weight recently. This made the drinks taste very diluted. I've made juice from concentrate before and I would say the amount of flavor it tasted like was if it was 10% concentrated, so it was like I was drinking Ocean Spray. I'll get soft serve next time, but I didn't choose to get it because they said to buy "two drinks" on the ad, and other than a milkshake there was a lack of things that didn't look caffeinated. This place gets 3* for doing what it's supposed to do, but I don't think I'd want to rate it any higher than that. read more

My son got the banana shake and I got the milk tea with boba. It was our first time, so we got the regular sweetness level. It was way too sweet so I asked them to fix it. The employee emptied half of the drink out into the sink and added some milk and water mixture from the dispenser and asked me to try it. It ended up being too diluted and bland so she made a new drink at 50% sweetness. I left the store thinking there was no way it would be as sweet at that point, but it was still super sweet. I ended up adding more water to it when I got home. Next time I would get the 30% sweetness level. I can't imagine anyone getting 200%??? read more

I love Mixue in China. While these drinks are incredibly cheap compared to other boba locations, their milk teas are extremely lacking. I got the jasmine milk tea with boba and the spring oolong milk tea with boba. Both lacked significantly in tea flavor, especially the jasmine which tasted like milk and boba and some unknown flavor (maybe masked from the boba syrup?) Overall I cannot recommend this Mixue as it is today. I'm not sure if the teas are just overly diluted or if their teas are just not strong in flavor, since their drinks are combined perfectly by a single machine. No complaints for service or ambiance, I just wish their tea flavor was stronger. read more

Do. Not. Come. Here. You truly get what you pay for at Mixue. With their hard-to-come-by low prices in this economy, you also get hard-to-come-by HORRIBLE food and drinks. Starting off on their only semi-redeeming quality, their soft serve was mediocre at best. While it wasn't the vanilla flavor I was expecting and wanting, tasting like straight up milk instead, it might tickle a lot of people's fancies. Definitely not mine though. On the other hand, their Jasmine Milk Tea was the absolute worst JMT I have ever consumed. I genuinely do not know what they put in there to receive that flavor profile but it is borderline offensive. Mixue definitely attracts a crowd. The drinks and ice cream are very affordable, and they even give a free ice cream cone with every drink purchase. On paper, it sounds like a great deal. Unfortunately, the quality doesn't live up to the hype. If you enjoy a cone that's sweeter than the ice cream itself, this might be the place for you. The ice cream was surprisingly bland and lacked the creamy, rich flavor I was expecting. I also ordered the affogato, but it tasted watered down and flavorless, with very little coffee character. Considering the long lines and the fact that you're often standing outside in the sun waiting, the experience just wasn't worth it for me. Cheap prices are nice, but they don't make up for disappointing flavors. Is it the best ice cream and drinks I've had? No. But for $1.19 for a soft serve cone, you really can't beat it. The milk tea isn't the best. It tastes a bit watered down and the tea flavor isn't strong. I'd rather spend a bit more at a better place for milk tea. The real star is the ice cream. The ice cream is a creamy and light soft serve. Beating out even McDonald's prices but with better quality, I'd recommend anyone to try it for a cheap refreshing dessert. read more

My partner and I have been here many times since its opening and love the drinks & soft serve. The quality is great for the price and everything is very delicious. However the staff are often very rude and unhelpful. A few days ago when we came here we ordered some soft serve and drinks and our drinks have been ready for a while but the soft serve was not, so we went up to the staff attending to the soft serve station and politely asked if our order was ready in a kind manner, and the female staff just replied "I'll get to it when I get to it" in a rude manner. Tonight we placed our order for pickup through a food delivery app and waited more than 20 minutes past the food preparation time in the app and watched many people who ordered after us get their drinks, but our order was not ready yet and was still "delayed" in the app. We finally went into the store to check on our order and realized it was ready more than 15 minutes ago but the staff never hit "finished" so we were never notified that the order was ready, and the ice cream sundae we ordered was just sitting there for a long time. We wanted to confirm if the ice cream is in the to go bag because we didn't think they would just leave ice cream sundae sitting out for more than 15 minutes & would make it for us when we pick up (we later realized they did just leave it out there sitting), and the male staff pointed at the to-go bag and yelled at us "is it not in there?!" very rudely. The food is delicious and great for the price but the staff are often very rude and talks to customers very inappropriately. I'm not asking for amazing service but I would at least not like for the staff to talk rudely to me like I'm always doing them injustice and inconveniencing them when I'm just picking up my food. read more

Love the LA location but I've come here 3 times hours before closing (like 4 pm) and every single time they're out of matcha soft serve... if you know it's a popular item you should have a higher stock of it. You only have to wait for your number to be called for sundaes and drinks. Heads up, they don't wait for the entire order before calling your number. They'll call your number as each item is fulfilled. I went with my family, and we ordered one soft serve cone and three sundaes - chocolate, cookies, and mango. 5 stars for flavor, yummy! 5 stars for price point, $12 for all of us! Minus one star for growing pains. 1) Ordering was through kiosk only, but one of the two kiosks stopped working, 2) orders were fulfilled out of order, and 3) amount of soft serve in the sundaes were inconsistent. I placed an order on the kiosk and the sundae and ice cream came out quick but the drinks didn't come out for around 20 min. I first asked if my order was ready and they stated it was in progress. I sat down for another 10 minutes staring at the monitor for the in process drinks until I see drinks being served quickly. I went back up and asked the cashier what happened with the drinks and they just looked at me saying they didn't know and that they handed it to a different person. I was frustrated since I thought my drinks were being made, but it wasn't even worked on at all. All the baristas looked like they didn't know what they were doing and they didn't even realize the printer ran out of paper. After asking them about the whereabouts of my drink they finally made it. Two kiosk stations and a cashier taking orders. We ordered at 9:43, the drinks came out at 9:46 My bf DEVOURED the sundae, it tastes very much like the white rabbit milk candies. fruit teas are mid, and the standard sugar level (100%) is still super sweet, so watch out for that. this is the second day in a row that i've visited (today i arrived at noon, also visited last night) where they were basically sold out for all of the good items -- soft serve (matcha, cocoa) and all milk teas (even the milk tea taro balls!! this is the only drink i like from there). also, they have so many staff working, yet they make everyone order from the two kiosks in the (super small) store. the images i'm attaching from today basically reflect their item availability when i visited last night and this afternoon. all over the walls, they have cute blind boxes and buildable block sets ft. their mascot, but there is some limited seating. would only recommend the milk teas from here IF YOU CARE TO CALL IN ADVANCE for their items in stock. read more

Service here was awful. I was rung up by a short girl with blue hair. The receipt says the name is Daniel, but that's obviously not her name. She had an attitude and was rude even though I was friendly to her. She was also doing the annoying Gen Z stare that I thought was just a meme until now. She clearly doesn't care about her job or how she treats people. The customers after me also seemed to have gotten the same rude service. I don't know what her problem is, but she deserves to get fired. I was so paranoid she spat in my drink that I just threw it away after I got it. I really hope management does something about this employee. And on top of that, I ordered a soft serve on a cone. She took my recipe and then turned the ice cream machine off and walked away and didn't come back. Came in around noon on a Thursday. There was a line in front of the self service kiosk, but we saw that someone had ordered at the counter so we thought we would try that. We stood at the counter and waited for at least five minutes, during which multiple store members made eye contact with us and looked away, refusing to serve us. After waiting and literally asking a store member and getting ignored, a guy from the back asked us to please use the self service kiosk. At this point we felt pretty disrespected and left the store. To make matters worse, we had put our phone number on the kiosk and five minutes after we left, we got a text that an order was placed, so evidently they were letting people order at the counter after all! Really disappointing experience overall regardless of the drink quality.
