Combination plate: Sesame chicken and teriyaki beef
    Tiffany B.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Visited this hidden gem in the Freeport area. It's not as flashy as all the other businesses in the area. You can tell it's a mom & pops type of establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came in and was the only customer at the time. The couple that works there are very kind and have big smiles. I got the combination plate with sesame chicken and beef teriyaki. When I ordered, they gave me an estimated wait time of 10 mins, which was fine, but I'm sure it was done in less than 10 mins. I thought it was all yummy. The sauce, the way the proteins were cooked, the amount of rice and the cabbage salad. The plate was over $20, but I'm willing to ignore that for this restaurant.

Regular size teriyaki shrimp bowl (~$12) vs Small sesame chicken bowl (~$8) not sure if prices are accurate. Portions are pitiful..

I've driven by this place a million times and finally stopped in to try it. I hardly ever see cars here, so always wondered how they stay in business. I read reviews and it seemed decent, so I passed up all the other great options (including my fav place across the street) to give this place a shot. I won't be back. I got a small sesame chicken bowl. They give bigger portions for kids meals.. it's pitifully small. Talk about shrinkflation. The teriyaki sauce is hella strong - very sweet and salty. I prefer the thick teriyaki sauce at Japanese restaurants.. this one is watery and not good. Overall just very disappointed.

I have heard wonderful things so I decided to try this local spot. To start, I was pleasantly welcomed by the cashier with politeness and a smile. The owners and the cashier are very nice and welcoming people. Don't be foolish and let the dated outside fool you, this spot is a lovable local gem! The server/cashier came to check on me multiple times, which truly emphasized their care for their customers. The food came relatively quick for I only had to wait about 5-ish minutes. I loved the chicken teriyaki bowl that I ordered, which came with tsukemono, a simple and deliciously refreshing cabbage topping. The food was straight forward, yet delicious and full of flavor, the chicken was quite tender as well. The way they prepared the chicken in thin-julienne-like cuts was unique and allowed the teriyaki sauce to cover more surface are, truly fusing the grilled umami flavor of the neatly cooked chicken with the dark and flavorful teriyaki sauce. Using my best judgement, the prices of the food is about the same you would find anywhere else. For the plates/ bowls they offer 3 different sizes. Some other menu items they feature are burgers, fish fry, beef, and chicken katsu. Additionally the restroom that is out back was clean and ready to use(kindly ask to use the restroom and you'll be given a key). The inside of the restaurant was clean without a speck of food or liquid in site. The tables, ground, and even on top of the trash cans were as clean as a brand new car. Overall, I will absolutely be returning to this local gem and am looking forward to trying their other menu items. If you find yourself nearby and looking for a bite, consider giving this Korean-family-owned restaurant some love!

Food was good as always, fresh and hot. Service was fast and friendly. We dined in, it was a little warm for me inside and the seating is cramped but over all very pleased.

The Fish and Chips and a side of pot stickers! So delicious!

Like many stated in the previous comments this building isn't very inviting, and the tables and chairs are outdated I work in the freeport area every Friday and would drive pass this restaurant every week and finally decided to give it s try. I support local mom and pop restaurants. the gentleman at the front i assume is the owner and he was really nice. The food was flavorful and good portion size as well.

My favorite sesame chicken! Been coming here for years and will continue to! They also have great teriyaki cheeseburgers and fish and chips.

The Reese's Blizzard was excellent too: thick, loaded with peanut butter cup pieces, and mixed perfectly. That's the reason most people (including me) keep coming back--Desserts are consistently great here. On the flip side, the burger was a miss this visit. It came way over-sauced with mustard--dripping everywhere, making it super messy and soaking the bun quickly. The whole thing tasted a little off, like the patty wasn't fresh or had been sitting too long. Fries were average at best, nothing memorable. Overall, if you're stopping by for Blizzards, cones, or shakes, it's a solid choice and worth it. But I'd skip the burgers next time unless you're just craving the ice cream fix. Fair 3 stars--the sweets carry the experience.

We ordered the infamous chocolate dipped cones along with a snickers and birthday cake blizzard, and the desserts were just as good as I remembered. They even did the upside down Blizzard trick, which made my kids smile. The fries were served fresh and hot and my son enjoyed the chicken strips. Surprisingly they even came with a piece of toast. The only downside is the drive thru. We have gone three times now, and each visit the wait has been very long. It usually looks like they only have one or two employees, and even when there are two, only one seems to be taking orders and making the desserts while the other stands by. With a little better staffing or teamwork, the line could move much faster. The area feels a bit sketchy, with some homeless individuals nearby, and there is often a lot of trash and food debris around the perimeter of the building. That's why we only choose the drive thru. We will definitely come back for ice cream treats when we are in the area, but I really wish the wait time was shorter and the exterior was kept cleaner.

They have shredded chicken tacos, shredded beef, tacos,…read moreground beef tacos, that come with lettuce and a little bit of cheese and a very crunchy shell for only $1.50 a taco on Tuesdays! I drive by this place several times a week and the other day my friend told me that I had to go there for crispy taco Tuesday because the tacos were only $1.50. I was already aware of the fact that it was basically a taco truck in the parking lot of what used to be a Taco Bell back in the '70's. What I discovered is, they actually have a tribe up ordering system in place in the parking lot next to the taco truck. I just to park my car and place my order at the taco truck and hang out in the parking lot then I was delivered a bag with my tacos in it and two types of salsa. I decided to go inside the restaurant that used to be Taco Bell, which is now just a place to eat out of the elements. They also have a bathroom and colorful tables to sit at. It was a 90° day so I went in to get out of the heat and get a place to sit unfortunately it smelled a little bit like cleaning solution, but I guess that meant it was clean in there I had thought there was a salsa bar or a soda machine in there, but no luck. I ordered the chicken taco and the shredded beef taco. The shredded beef taco really impressed me with the amount of tasty beef. There's a small amount of cheese and lettuce. They are very crispy not oily and the hot sauces were flavorful. The amazing part is that the bill only came up to $3.26 and I was full after eating two of those tacos. So on value I give it five stars however otherwise I wouldn't want to eat here because there are so many other options around for a few more dollars.

They blew my first experience of the orgasmic culinary kind!! I was also wondering why the restaurant isn't open, the food is prepared and sold out of a food truck!? Like I always said If your Not First Your Last Ricky Bobby and Toco Express you are definitely LAST!!!!

Otherwise, I probably would have struggled to find a spot because all of the spots were taken. Overall, I do like how Chipotle does catering. It is always a crowd-pleaser for my business meetings. However, I may look into doing catered orders from other Chipotle locations, given the potential difficulty of parking and additional wait time.
