I have always loved Dairy Queen ice cream. I haven't had them for years since I left the south. Came across them on a work trip and had to stop by. It was pretty good. I will say I found it odd that the vanilla ice cream tasted odd and nothing like vanilla. The hot fudge was delicious.

Can be a little pricey, but the Ice cream options, Blizzards are fantastic, I had a small Butterfinger Blizzard, which was awesome. Service was fast, friendly, always love them turning the blizzard upside down with the spoon in it to show you its thickness !

Hey, to the two Asian dudes that were there tonight 3.7.26....... Salute! Y'all were great and the food and ice cream was on point. I seen dude at the window with a wrist splint we appreciated the hustle brother. Overall great service and kept it real. Good stuff

I would like a refund but no one has responded to my email & the voicemail box is still full.

I've never been to a Dairy Queen location ever and this was my first time! Even better, I went ordered through the drive thru! WOW! The staff were super friendly and service was fast. I ordered the dipped chocolate cone and didn't realize it was this big. Satisfied my soft serve ice cream craving and checked off visiting DQ off my list!

Sometimes you just gotta have a dipped cone! Service was a little off on my last visit as my cone melted while a worker chatted with another employee instead of giving me my order. This caused the ice cream to leak from under the chocolate shell. When I mentioned this, he was rude and dismissive. I'll still come here but hope I don't experience this again.

My wife loves the Oreo blizzards so I was driving by and got her one. Also got a couple of double cheeseburgers that were so good. I have been on Blizzard runs many a time over the years. The staff is always polite and friendly and do the upside down presentation, never gonna get a free Blizzard. The only downside is getting out of the parking lot due to high traffic but today a train was blocking the traffic. So yes the location is terrible. I have no idea why the ratings are so low.

    Proof of the incident

I looked up store hours at 10:25pm 07/14/25 and it said on the website that the drive thru was open 24hours but when I arrived to the drive thru it was not open and nobody was even working at the premises. I would like to call this a terrible experience and terrible service towards the customers here. I honestly don't even think this is appropriate in this matter... therefore I will not be eating at this Dairy Queen anymore and I will be MAKING sure to tell my friends and family about this so they can spread the word as well.

    Dry,dry dry bread.

Very old bread on burger. It was absolutely ridiculous for a 13.00 meal. The only good thing was a coke and onion rings. Sad,sad sad.

The moment you walk in, the retro 1950s diner ambience immediately transports you back to classic Americana dessert culture. They've apparently been serving Sacramento for over 37 years! - Hot Fudge Sundae -- made with Gunther's vanilla & chocolate ice cream, topped with whipped cream, pralines, and a candied cherry; beautifully presented with warm hot fudge drizzled all over - Lemon Raspberry Cake -- moist sponge cake layered with lemon, raspberry, and whipped cream; balanced sweetness with buttercream-coated sides The red booth seating and vintage Americana decor really complete the nostalgic vibe. Service was friendly and quick, and the overall ambience was cozy, retro, and diner-themed. I'm 54 years old and have a 30-year-old daughter and my niece is 25. I don't even know how that would be possible. I was right next to them sitting at a table with my brother so of course I heard, and I got up and I said what's up with this grandma stuff, and he said that he answered her question and told her that he thought I was her grandmother. Honestly, I felt completely insulted like you're not supposed to say things like that to your customers or even about your customers. I felt myself getting ready to go completely off on him, so I walked away and went to sit back down. He had the audacity to tell my niece some people can't handle the truth. It's so baffling to me that a manager would say something like that. I know employees sometimes say inappropriate things, but he should know better!! This was supposed to be a nice family outing and he ruined my night. Luckily I have confidence in myself and his comment didn't give me a complex or make me like I look old. It was also disappointing because I went in there specifically to get an eclair, which is normally a decent size. For some reason, it was the half of the size and the same price.

This parlor is apparently known for ice cream puffs (which none of us tried to be fair) . I believe it's a slightly warm donut with ice cream in the middle and what they are named after... The parlor had limited ice cream flavors (nothing traditional that I would usually go for - or settle for s simple as strawberry by itself) and while a couple flavors sounded interesting, they missed the mark for me. I ended up with the Thai tea and vanilla and the Thai tea flavor was extremely light. My son liked his strawberry cheesecake milkshake. My friend liked her pina colada ice cream scoop with coconut shred topping. The others seemed to like their one scoop ice creams but we all took time to decide. The establishment is small. A couple of tiny tables inside and a bench seating inside. There are also a couple of tables and a bench seating outside. The line started forming at 8:30 with about 5 people behind us and 2 workers behind the counter so we didn't have time to get pictures without lots of people on the background. :(

The Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper is equally strong. We arrived and were seated promptly which was nice. But then our server went on break, we got a new server, they took our order and about 30 minutes later, they brought out all of the food except for two entrees. A kids entree and an adult entree. They said they were going to make the food but we sat there while we watched dozens of people sit down and leave, staff rarely checked on us, and then an hour later, they finally bring out the food. It was an absolute disaster. The server apologized (the manager never came to acknowledge the issue even though they spoke to the server about the situation) and the server stated that there was some sort of miscommunication with the order. To be honest, I was more upset about the fact that by the time the two entrees came out, everyone was already done eating. So those two people just had to box their food and eat it later. After dinner, it was ice cream time. We order my son's ice cream (just a scoop of chocolate) first at least 15 minutes before they take anybody else's order at the table. They proceed to take everyone else's order (sundaes and specialty ice creams) and get this...my kid's ice cream came out 30 minutes after everyone else got their ice cream. Absolutely terrible experience and once again, no manager interaction with us, just the server claiming some sort of miscommunication again. My kid's food (the entree and the ice cream) was what came out a whopping combined time of one and a half hours late. They comped the grilled cheese sandwich but then had the audacity to charge for the ice cream! And on top of this...they automatically charged gratuity for the whole table! I 100% hate that this was my one and only experience with this place given its history, but this was just a disgusting display of customer service and the lack of integrity.
