The pitas here are pretty small so the value isn't great. I think I would need to eat 3 pitas to be satisfied and I don't even have a large appetite. The problem here is that 3 pitas will run you about $50-$60. With that kind of money, you can get a better/nicer meal elsewhere. SERVICE Good. The mushrooms were nicely cut and were the perfect size for the pita, which made for an enjoyable bite. The scallions coupled with the sour cream only enhanced it's overall flavor. Large groups might find it a bit challenging but they do offer seats on both sides of the counter. Although, it does get busy the wait time for your food is minimal. This was a quick dinner and that is what we wanted overall so we could watch the fireworks show on the Fourth of July. We picked Mizon since none of us had tried it and we came with a party of five. Everyone enjoyed it! They also serve normal regular drinks or if you want a beer with your meal you could have it. You first have to order at the front and when your meal is ready you will pick it up at the counter. They only have high countertops to sit on. But this was fine since it was just a quicky. Miznon, an Israeli restaurant with several locations in the world (including New York), is located inside The Venetian. Ambiance (4/5): Miznon is a casual, open-air restaurant. It's part of The Venetian. There's a counter and some tabletop seating, it's not enclosed in its own area with a door. Roughly 20 seats or so relatively small but there was no wait on a Wednesday evening. The decor was nice and they had music playing. Service (4/5): You place your order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. Since it's a casual restaurant, service isn't a big part of the experience. Drinks: No adult beverages for me on this visit. I ordered a bottle of sweet tea. Food (4.5/5): I went with the lamb kebab and a side of the smashed potatoes. Both were delectable. The smashed potatoes are smashed (no surprises here) across a large pan with some spices and sauces. Simple yet delicious. The lamb kebab similarly delivered. The pita bread was fresh and fluffy. The lamb kebab was well-seasoned and flavorful. The cucumbers and tomatoes inside were crisp and fresh. And lastly, the sauce was addicting. All in all, it was a great meal. The downside? The portion sizes are small and relatively expensive for the size of the meal. The lamb kebab doesn't come with a side, so I had to order one a la carte. A fantastic option for fast casual food at the Palazzo and a pretty good example of Israeli street food. Since it was my first time, I stuck with the safe choice of lamb kabob and their famous whole baby cauliflower. Both did not disappoint. The lamb pita was stuffed with a great balance of tasty veggies and a smooth tahini, while the baby cauliflower was seasoned well and charred beautifully. After days of eating between overpriced restaurants and late night junk food, the thoughtful preparation of quality ingredients was appreciated. I stopped by Miznon yesterday on my way out of the Palazzo. I've wanted to try it and was so excited. I asked for recs and was told the Lavan pita was very good and popular, so I got it. I first want to say that the service was great. The woman who took my order was kind and helpful and they gave me a locals discount which was awesome. Unfortunately, that's the only positive I can give. My friend ordered the Candy Steak and the hummus plate and I got the Lavan pita. He sent me a message on my drive home hoping mine was better than his and proceeded to share that his food had zero flavor and some of the worst hummus he's had. I crossed my fingers when I got home that mine would be better but unfortunately that was not the case. The cauliflower blend was mushy, under seasoned and just tasted bad. I had maybe 3 bites and with every bite I was hoping it would taste different and better. It didn't. I tossed it after realizing it wasn't getting any better. As a lover of Mediterranean foods, this was really disappointing. And based on other reviews they may just have a consistency problem if some folks are complaining of things being over seasoned and some under seasoned and some 5 star reviews. For what you pay, it's not a great deal. If you're a visitor you probably don't have much of a choice unless you decide to hop on an uber and go somewhere off strip where there are definitely better and tastier choices of this general kind of food if you want. If you are staying at the palazzo, head towards the Casino and follow signs to the Sphere or Sands Avenue Exit. One issue I have with the food at Vegas is that there is too much butter, sugar and not enough vegetables to eat. Miznon has your back. For veggies, try the rock salad. It is modestly dressed in olive oil and consists of pita chips, tomato, onion, cucumber and dill. It really helped whet my veggie craving. Then for protein, I had the ribeye pita. It was perfectly filling. I must've been hungry because it disappeared into my stomach in two minutes. The lamb kebab is excellent too.
