    Cucumber and avocado rolls

Here we are again with my avacado and cucumber roll! Love love love. Used to get their Eel all the time prior to educating myself on the safety of eel. I haven't gotten anything from here that hasn't been good.

Amazingly good takeout. Husband said it was the best sushi he's had in a long time. The kids enjoyed the shrimp bento box large enough portions for them to share one. I had the salmon bento box and was very satisfied with taste, texture, and portions. Bento boxes came with 2 cream cheese rangoons, 4 California rolls and brown rice vegetable stir-fry. We look forward to ordering here again.

    Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box

I had this on my list of places to try since it opened here in Plainfield. It is a small location but has several dine in tables too. With a comprehensive sushi and Japanese menu they also had a few asian food options. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki bento box and was very happy with it. The bento box is a generous serving of your protein with rice and vegetables with two crab rangoon's and 4 pieces of California roll. The food all tasted great and all of our food for four people was ready in under 10 minutes. The price was also very reasonable at $12. All soda and Japanese soda are in the cooler caned and bottles only.

Mizu is close to where I work so I placed an online carryout order, which was very easy and convenient. After order confirmation, I was instructed to pay upon pickup at the restaurant and there was also a little blurb that said I could save 5% by paying with cash. My order was ready within 15 minutes, and even though I paid with cash, there was no mention of the discount by the employee who was working. I didn't bring it up either (shrug). Anyway, the miso soup I ordered was pretty standard. Lots of seaweed, but very few pieces of tofu. I also got the Rich Salmon roll, which was good. The sushi is in smaller pieces than other places, but makes eating it much easier. My daughter got the spicy tuna roll (both rolls were put in the same plastic container), and she said it was kind of dry. I've definitely had better sushi, but I would like to go back to try more of Mizu's menu.

Out of control roll, crab Rangoon, spring rolls and rice

Door Dashed an order so haven't yet made it to the store but will update my review when I do. The "Out of Control" roll was amazing! Loved the spring rolls and crab Rangoon. The rice was dry but it didn't bother me. Delicious meal and I will try again

It's super good, this is day 2 of buying this dish. So worth it and great prices!!! I didn't take a picture fast enough and i had already eaten two of the five rolls, so if that doesn't tell you how good it is, I don't know what will.

Our server Emily was cheerful and informative. A parking garage across the street served us well for dining at this restaurant and attending an event at Hendricks Live across the street. The shrimp cocktail appetizer featured fresh large shrimp with dollops of horseradish on the plate and a nice sauce. I enjoyed the steak frites entree, a generous portion of steak perfectly cooked, served with a delicious broccolini and tasty fries. My sister ordered the chicken marsala and noted that she would have liked more sauce, and the truffle potatoes were delicious. My brother said his huge pork chop was perfect, and my sister in-law recommended the sirloin steak. We had reservations and were seated at a high top table, which is not my preferred way to dine but the restaurant was full so we didn't ask to be moved. We had a bit of a wait for our entrees and chalked that up to it being Saturday night. There is a separate bar area and rooftop dining with igloos available.

Eh, fell a bit short for me…read more The ambiance and vibes are great! Service was great as well!! The food is where it fell short for me. I drove an hour to visit this place and saw lots of good reviews. I started off with a lemon drop and a snack short rib eggroll. The lemon drop was watery and just did not hit like I would have hoped (I'm a lemon drop girly). They do use Titos as their well so that was good. The egg roll was dry- you definitely need to dip in the wasabi aioli to make it palatable. Next up were the buffalo chicken hush puppies. I like the idea here. The inside was moist and flavorful and the outside was kind of dry and drizzled with what I think was ranch. They were ok. I have a Ceaser salad add chicken and "fried" Brussels sprouts. The salad was suppose to come the onions , there were none so the waitress brought me some. The salad was mid at best and the chicken was dry and unflavored. I asked for some spicy ranch and that saved the salad! The Brussels sprouts were pretty good. My friend had the potato soup and said it was very watery (not creamy at all). I enjoyed the live music and overall vibe but good was average. Parking is an issue as well. There is parking in the rear or a parking garage but not super convenient parking.

I had the filet hibachi and it was tender, tasty, and FILLING! even without the appetizer, easily 2 meals worth. Our waiter, Yancy, was absolutely amazing and the main reason I wanted to leave this review. (Hoping I spelled that correctly). He was full of character, amazing suggestions, and all around fun to be around. He made us some combinations of his favorite sauces to dip our sushi in and we ended up chatting about some of our fav kpop singers, like he was a friend we hadn't seen in years - chattin and catching up. What a pleasure he was and I hope management knows what a gift it is he is working for them!!

I really wanted to like this place, but alas it was only mediocre tonight. I do believe the problem…read moreto be that they are horribly understaffed. We ordered food and some cocktails. We never received our cocktails. The other party at our hibachi table also never received the sushi they had ordered. But we did get waters and soft drinks and watch the food being prepared. It was entertaining as hibachis tend to be. Soup and salad are included in the hibachi experience. The soup was not a plain miso soup, but it did have a delicious broth and onions floating in it and was really delicious. Also appreciated having a choice of salad dressing. Most folks simply serve it with ginger dressing, but here you have two additional choices, Ranch or Sesame. I opted for the sesame dressing and was pleasantly surprised. A new favorite. I had the shrimp & chicken combo with fried rice. The shrimp were nicely done, but the chicken was rather dry and the fried rice was quite bland. My friend had the salmon and really enjoyed her dish. All in all, I don't think it quite lived up to the price tag, but the staff was indeed trying.

Disappointing Experience at Peking China Buffet 9/16/2025 at 11am…read moreRating: (1/5) Visited Peking China Buffet in Plainfield, IN for lunch with two friends--and unfortunately, it was a letdown from the moment we walked in. The dining room was dim due to multiple burnt-out bulbs, and the stained ceiling didn't help the first impression. Our server showed us to the table with no greeting or smile, just a quick drink order. The buffet itself was sparse and looked tired--most trays had only a few items, and very little appeared fresh. I tried to stick to the newly replenished dishes, but even that felt like a gamble. The moment that sealed it: my buddy accidentally dropped an egg roll on the floor, placed it at the end of the buffet bar, and grabbed the last one. Minutes later, I returned to find that same dropped egg roll had been put back into the serving bin. That raised serious concerns about food safety and cleanliness. After taking a closer look around, the place felt dirty and poorly maintained. Later that afternoon, all three of us felt ill. Between the high prices, stale food, and questionable hygiene, this is not a place we'll be returning to.
