This place used to be a hidden gem in the UIC area, but after visiting 4 times and gotten delivery every time the quality has gotten worse. Highly recommend the chilli chicken dish along with the general tsao chicken. Stongly suggest it's Szechuan spicy dishes. For appetizer suggest the chicken wings with the honey garlic sauce. I have very serious concerns about the business practices at this restaurant. I ordered for delivery online tonight (Christmas dinner) at 8pm. At 9:45 nobody showed. I called them up and they told me that they received the order but never cooked it. I asked them to cook it anyway and they refused, saying that they are about to close. You would think that they would be a little more flexible considering they let an order sit there for 90 minutes and they did nothing with it. But fine, it's not the first time that sort of thing has happened. Sometimes restaurants drop the ball, and Chinese restaurants are especially busy on Christmas. But here is where things go further south. I called up the delivery company to tell them to cancel the order and I explained why. The agent called the restaurant while I was on hold, and when she came back she said ML told her that they received my order, made the food and already delivered it to me, so they will not cancel the order or refund the money. They tried to outright rob me of $80. I'm fortunate the delivery company was understanding. Because I use them regularly, they refunded the money directly, but they said that the restaurant refused to refund it themselves. So in other words, instead of robbing me of $80, they robbed the delivery company of $80. This wasn't a misunderstanding or miscommunication. This wasn't a situation where they delivered it to the wrong address. I spoke to them and they told me they never made the order and they will not make it. There was no mistake here; they willfully defrauded us. The shame of it is that I've eaten there before and the cumin lamb is very good. But now they have lost my business forever, and I have very serious questions about what kind of restaurant they really are when they can so easily steal money. Where else are they deceiving people? Are you sure you're eating what you think you are? Are you sure that vegan dish isn't made with beef fat? Are you sure the sauce covered meat is fresh? Sunday linner time, service was nice, seated us as we walked in, checked on us several times but it took us a while such a big menu. 3 of us ended up ordering fish fillets with Chinese vegetables (baby bok choy), kung pao chicken, Napa cabbages with chili oil, and Malaysian chow fun.
