This is the first time I've tried a Mochinut and I'm only disappointed that I waited this kind! Our favorites were the Nutella and Ube mochi donuts! The boba drinks were a bit too sweet so we will most likely just frequent for the donuts. So glad to have a fun donut place in the area. I highly recommend. read more

This is an update after they changed Mochinut to Mochi Lounge. Their price has gone up. I used to pay like $3 per doughnut, but I just realised I was charged $3.25 per doughnut few days ago. If the quality was same or higher I would've understood but their take out plastic boxes are very thin, loose, hard to close. It used to be sturdy paper boxes. Obviously less customers and it makes displaying doughnuts dry. Moreover when I pay cash, I never get change. I believe the guy is an owner, who says "thank you" and not intend to give me changes so I stopped tipping them instead of getting change. Still l gave some stars because I just don't have choice to go anywhere because I'm allergic to wheat. read more

I really enjoy the food here but the customer service was awful today. The cashier got my order wrong so I offered to pay for the difference to add boba to my drink like I wanted but she said she had to charge me for a second drink. No resolution for her mistake so now I have a subpar drink with no boba. Then I got to my car and realized my hot dog order was wrong, I returned to the store and she immediately gave it to another customer. After I had left the store with it. Gross. We had the breakfast burritos (one bacon and one chorizo) and they were both so good! The mochi donuts are also delicious, we shared a cookies and cream mochi donut and it was great, I can't wait to try the other flavors! Lots of seating, very cute and cozy area. Service was good too. 10 out of 10! I highly recommend this place. I had the cheese corn dog... It was so good. Everything was customized including their Cute Boba drinks cups and packaging. They were super friendly and nice at the front. I'm looking forward to bringing my sister next week. If you haven't already.. you must try this place! Yum!! The second i walked in the guy stood up and explained to me everything i've never had a Korean corndog or the donuts he gave me a sample of a donut they were great and i ordered the hot Cheeto corn dog absolutely incredible he also gave me a free corndog sadly i don't know which it was but was also amazing best costumer service ever 100% recommend and will be going back soon! read more

I like mochi donuts and this place has them in a few different varieties as well as interesting looking "corn dogs". My main complaint is the price. I get they cost more than regular donuts but they shouldn't be 3X more expensive. There are some shops in the area that are 2/3's the price and make them fresh to order. Work on your price point and you'll se more business. read more

Their donuts are great. It's a bit pricey though, so unless there's good flavors, I tend to go to Sierra donuts. I've yet to try any drink there but I've tried all of the corndogs. My personal favorite is the potato cheese dog. The sauce they give you to go with it is quite tasteful as well read more

Stopped at this location Sat. night and brought friends over for 1st time to try. Great food but horrible customer service. Seemed like employee was forced to be there (not happy at all and attitude since the minute we walked in). As a business owner this is very sad to have people that just bring the entire mood of your business down. Hope she finds a job that she seems to truly enjoy. However, the employees working were not welcoming or friendly, it just seemed as if they didn't want to help us given that it was our first time. Good donuts and drinks, but bad service, the reason why it's so bad was because of how rude and disrespectful the workers were to me. They took others orders before mine even tho I came in after the other people, am I not as important? I mean.. they should've served me first right? Anyways, the place was clean yet I didn't feel comfortable when sitting down because the countertops were dirty where you sit and eat. The Korean corn dogs were good but I wish they had more variation, I recommend if you want a bad experience but good food. Oookkk so these are donuts that look like mochi stuck together qith tasty frosting on top. Nothing ASTOUNDING about it other than it's a cute spot. Very cute! It's a little pricy but you're paying for the good quality and care that goes into the products. The mochinut variety changes regularly apparently and I went in on a day with guava available and it was SO good, and I tried the regular glaze and the sesame churro which was also very good. I tried a peach black tea too and it was super refreshing, not overly sweetened and in a cute unique can. read more

Cute interior and packaging but that only goes so far. The good: Hot cheeto half-and-half corndog--which is always made-to-order. My bf said it was pretty good, especially the cheese half. I thought it was good/decent. We'd recommend getting full mozzarella, it was nice and gooey and went well with the cheeto dust. As for the donuts, the guava flavor is great, not too sweet.The young woman cashier was very friendly too. The meh: The donuts have good flavor but don't expect them to be fresh. Fresh is unmatched--crispy on the outside and warm, fluffy, and chewy on the inside. These were room temperature and chewy. We are spoiled by the sadly closed MoDo in Mitsuwa Irvine where they were made-to-order. Note: We took bites immediately outside the shop then went home and toasted the rest. The plain toasted nicely and enhanced the flavor. The guava frosting slightly melted and prevented the donut from getting crispy. The disappointing: The cream cheese that came with the plain donut is NOT cream cheese. It tastes and looks like store-bought whipped cream. I was looking forward to a local mochi shop but sadly, this isn't worth it for me. tl;dr Hot cheeto corndog was pretty good. Pass on the mochi donuts if you've had fresh ones before. If it's your first time, it's worth a try. Do not get cream cheese if you want actual cream cheese. read more

I decided to come to Mochinut because of their BOGO offer and I was excited to try their drinks. The server was accommodating and helpful, but I was surprised I could not adjust the sweetness of my drink. This is a big deal for me since I am not a fan of excessively sweet drinks. I got the Matcha and the Brown Sugar Ube. The Matcha was good, but the Brown Sugar Ube was too sweet and difficult to drink. My first impression of this location is the drinks are basic, and there are much better locations to get a refreshing drink. read more

I brought my kids to this location and it seemed nice unfortunately the guy that was taking our order seemed in a rush with only one other customer in the store. I'm not sure how the menu works with them changing what's available every few days so don't get your heart set on a certain flavor because it may not be there. Brought the kids and a couple of their friends for an after summer school treat. We've only been to the BP location that only has mochi donuts so wanted to try their hot dogs and boba. I was worried about the lunch rush but luckily it wasn't too busy. We had a large order of drinks, hot dogs and donuts and they were so nice, accommodating and quick! Great food, great service! Love that it's right near the theater too. Will definitely be back. read more

This place is definitely worth a try. I got the black sesame, churro donut and it was OK. I like the shape of the donut. Easy to share and eat. The dough was light, but so was the flavor. The Matcha tea was good. Sweeter than I like but I love the container it comes in. The half hotdog, half mozzarella cheese with potato was delicious, especially with the spicy mayo dipping sauce! I will definitely go back for that and I'm curious to try the corn dog with sweet potato. The staff was friendly and offered to sample flavors if we were interested. read more

The location I went to in Anaheim hills was very clean and well kept and the workers were friendly and hard working. The Thai and ube brown sugar milk milk teas were both delicious but more on the sweeter side which is perfect for me. The #5 hot dog was also really good. I'll be coming back more often read more

1st time having corndog on a chop stick with half hot dog and half mozzarella cheese. The way they bread it and cook it is totally different from a traditional American Corn Dog. Must have with Jalapeno Mustard dip. I thought it was just mustard and was pleased with the heat and flavor. It was incredible. Place was packed, but worth the wait. Ordered coffee with boba it was ok. Should have tried something with more flavor, it is what it is. Coffee with boba in it. It's good. Corndog is a must though! next time I'll be trying different drink through. read more

I've seen there hot Cheeto corn dog all over Tik Tok and just had to give it a try myself. I was so amazed on how good it was! I got a mozzarella stick and a corn dog, and both were absolutely amazing! Their brown sugar matcha boba was also to die for! If you enjoy drinks on the sweeter side I would highly recommend! Been to the Buena Park one and absolutely loved it. That location only had two donut options and ice cream but 10000% better than this location. Maybe they are still working out their recipes? We tried the boba, milk tea and brown sugar. The milk tea tasted like a kid's flavored chapstick. Way too sweet. The brown sugar wasn't terrible but the boba tasted like rubbing alcohol. We also tried 3 donuts: Strawberry Funnel Cake, Red Velvet, and Glazed. They all ended up tasting the same. Funnel cake was my favorite because it had the least sweetness and I was able to eat more than 3 pieces without feeling sugar sick. Might give a second try because the boba packaging is so cute, but overall it was a total waste of almost $30. We threw all our stuff away half eaten. Will definitely keep Buena Park location as our go-to. read more

The rice dog original and the original potato dog were both under-seasoned and bland. Nothing truly special about them. It is also fried fresh, which makes them nicely crispy, but they are made from frozen and ultimately they just taste like oil. In hopes to add more flavor to the dog, I tried their spicy mayo, but it was too spicy to be enjoyable, plus hard to dip into because of the wooden stick holding the dog getting in the way. The milk tea boba and all their other drinks are pre-made with hardly no customization options such as sweetness levels. You can only choose if you want ice or no ice. but if you opt for no ice, the drink is actually warm. Plus the way they package their drinks, they close the plastic cup with an aluminum can top that makes a noise similar to nails on a chalk board when the straw is moved around which makes for a very unpleasant drinking experience. I didn't buy the mochinuts, but tried some samples and the exotic flavors were not very interesting and in general they tasted like a cold and slightly chewy donut. Overall I would not recommend this venue. Two stars because of the nice and clean restaurant and nice cashiers. read more
