They're just perfectly sweet, not super overdone with the sweetness like some other places. And I LOVE that this place is cash only! More places need to go to cash business, in my opinion. The only thing I wish is that they kept their full food menu available until closing. My favorite item is the Power Bowl--it's honestly one of the best salads I've ever had. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and made in-house. Their coffee is great, but I'm personally obsessed with their matcha. Their seasonal flavors are always amazing, and the strawberry matcha is my all-time favorite. My boyfriend always orders the breakfast burrito, and it never disappoints. If you get it, definitely add avocado! This is one of those places I keep coming back to because the quality is always consistent. It too is when one of those funky old 1950s drive-through's, which you have to be really sharp about figuring out how to drive through so that your windows on the right side. The amazing thing about Scotty 's is they have the best raised donuts I've ever had in my life. Sometimes you just get spoiled and take things for granted. But then every now and again you get reminded that you really have something great in your backyard. I was responsible for bringing in donuts for my office down in Tulare and of course I went with what was just down the street from my house on the way to work. Man let me tell you, the amount of compliments I got and people trying to guess where they were from based of the box or the look of them. I got so many "is that the one place in Visalia that's famous?", that it was crazy. Like, no, I don't think its famous, its just down the street from me. It really makes me appreciate something I've relied on for years, but never fully appreciated. Thank you guys for your years of service and being a part of my family's memories.
