We tried the Dubai Chocolate (wow--amazing!), the Hello Kitty Mochi Nut (so cute and yummy!), and the Original flavor--and honestly, everything was phenomenal. The kids were over the moon with all the flavors, and honestly, so were we! The customer service was super friendly, there was no line, and it was so easy to order. Plus, it's perfectly located in the food court, right in the middle of all the other delicious eateries, which made it super convenient for a family stop. Disappointing Experience Due to Staff Attitude I visited the Mocha Nut location at South Coast Plaza last night and was genuinely disappointed by the customer service. The staff member who assisted us was noticeably rude and dismissive, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start. There was no greeting, no basic courtesy, and questions were met with attitude rather than professionalism. In a location like South Coast Plaza--where customers expect a certain level of service--this was surprising and unacceptable. I've been to many cafés and understand that evenings can be busy, but there's no excuse for treating customers with disrespect. Stopped by this mochi doughnut shot after a hearty meal at South Coast Plaza. Service was prompt and friendly. We got the 3 for $10 deal, with original, chocolate and strawberry. The consistency is a bit chewer than regular doughnuts, not really noticeable unless you're really paying attention. Out of the three flavors, the original is still the best, guilty pleasure level of sweetness. The very nice young lady at the counter took our order even though there was no cook. She said it would be about 5 to 10 minutes, for corn dogs, and we were OK with that until it hit the 15th minute... No cook no manager in sight. Had to leave as we were pressed for time and I had to go drop off my lunch date, when I returned again, very nice young girl at the counter told the manager, probably owner, who went straight to the register, never gave me eye contact barked at me to tap tap so that I could get my refund. I normally love this spot, but the female cashier working at 4:50PM on Sunday, September 28th has a bad Gen Z attitude. When I ordered my hot dog and asked for a specific sauce, she would impatiently interrupt me and told me to order my sauce later at the counter. Total pain to find in this mall--it's buried deep inside Bloomingdale's on the bottom floor. It's tucked next to a bunch of small food stalls, and honestly, it was hella hard to locate. Bought a hot cheetoh mozarella stick and waited 8 minutes for them to make it (not the issue) and when the lady gives me the box it malfunctions and slipped out of my hands and falls to the ground. I've never witnessed a food section inside of any department stores, especially at Bloomingdale's. It was pretty busy because the layout of the food area is super compact but well worth it. Keep in mind there are liens at each of them, depending on when you go. We tried three flavors for the donuts and they were pretty good. Cocoa 5/10 don't eat the pretzel it's stale lol Mango 10/10 our fav Watermelon 7/10 was pretty hesitant but it tastes like strawberry to me! read more

We ordered the set with Matcha, Churro, and Strawberry flavors. The churro and strawberry were pretty good and glazed well. The matcha wasn't glazed as well and tasted more powdery compared to the others. It also tasted more like a plain mochi donut. Overall, I did enjoy all of them. read more

Didn't get greeted and wasn't feeling very welcomed. I got 6 donuts and they came out to be around 17$. The mochinuts were great, nice and chewy and good flavors. I always get the straight mozzarella but they do have one with sausage and also option for half and half (half sausage and half mozzarella). My personal opinion love the straight mozzarella with the sweet and spicy dip. They do have other sauces ie honey mustard , ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce.
