Come one come all for a pizza specialized just for you! This place is a pizza and salad place where you can come and create your own delicious food item! They have a large assortment of toppings which allows for the ultimate customization. If you're not all about that customization that okay too! They have preset pizza's so you dont have to stress about what's good or not. They've already done that for you! They offer additional side items and grill it up as soon as you tell them what you want. They have beer, soft drinks, and delicious lemonades/other misc drinks. I tried the Marion berry lemonade and I was HOOOOOOOOKED. I decided to go with a custom pizza and man did I go crazy. Best part is that is all okay! I'm not sure if the inept, 12 year old staff were as hungover as I was. Was it literally everyone's first day? Look at my review history. I don't go around giving poor reviews. The kids putting on toppings were nice, but provided almost zero verbal interaction. I don't mean they didn't strike up a conversation, I mean they couldn't squeak out "what kind of sauce would you like?". The child running the oven dropped a pizza and proceeded to angrily complain to his coworkers as if his mom told him to go clean his room. I'm seriously scratching my head here. Am I in the twilight zone? Is this a combination daycare/restaurant? I would bring people here JUST to experience the spectacle of it all. read more

This was the most tense and uncomfortable MOD i've ever been to. Visited today for lunch around 1 and sit here dissatisfied. The employees there were not friendly and didn't care to make us feel welcome at all. Acted like we were bothering them for looking at the menu when the store is practically empty. And the pizza?! they don't even spread the sauce on they drown in from a mustard bottle zig zag across the dough, and then the pizza can't even hold its structure. Great spot to get individual pizzas. For my little family of three this is perfect. Everyone gets their own and we have some gluten allergies in the house so love the gluten-friendly and the cauliflower crust options. Took away a star because about 20% of the time I order they over cook and burn the cheese. They should do a quality check because I would much rather wait longer for them to fix then receive burnt cheese. read more

The pizza is good, each completely customized from a range of base sauces, unlimited toppings, and finishing sauces. What really makes this a 5-star place for me is the people. They use your name and try to make a connection with you. Grabbed dinner tonight and was especially impressed. Ordering online is a waste as they prioritize in store orders. Showed up for my order per ready time on app and wasn't even started. Took another 30 minutes....meaning I could have simply ordered there and been done quicker. (As I watched people do while waiting.). Never again....and of course can't adjust tip after the order. Not only did they mess up both mine and my girlfriends pizza, half of my pizza was entirely burnt, and they didn't acknowledge me standing waiting for my online pickup order. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Being a previous MOD employee (at a different branch), it was greatly shocking and disappointing when we walked in and were not only not greeted, but not even acknowledged for at least five minutes. It was not busy. Finally, the employees (without even apologizing) took our order and made our pizza extremely slowly. Thinking it was a fluke, we just returned (because we truly do love MOD pizza & salads!). We ordered online and when we got to the car with our order, we found that there were no forks or napkins in our to go bag (we ordered salads!!) Very disappointed that this place feels as if they can carry the MOD name. read more

I love MOD! Pizzas are reasonably priced and you get all the toppings you like. Perfect stop for someone like me (olive lover) and my significant other (olive hater). Also, really fun for kids to pick their own toppings. I really love the balsamic glaze at the end. Great place overall! read more

First time eating here. Cons: My daughter's pizza had a long hair in it that grossed her out. (The workers don't wear hair nets.) My gluten-free pizza was *cold* when I took the first bite. Not lukewarm--cold. I sent it back and they had to remake it instead of re-heating it. (Evidently the gluten-free crusts tend to fall apart, and they will also burn easily. Thus, the undercooked one.) Pros: My pizza, once it came, was delicious. One of the better gluten-free pizza crusts I've had. Me and my boyfriend were excited to try mod pizza. We were guessing it was going to be similar to Blaze Pizza which is what we compared it to. They have a build your own option which was nice, I got the thick crust which cost about $10. They had many different sauce options and they had vegan cheese which was great. The "fast fired " slogan didnt appear true, it took a decent amount of time to cook the pizza. My boyfriend felt the pizza was meh, he thought the crust was weird. I personally enjoyed my pizza, but it wasnt anything to write home about. The employees were pretty nice though. Would be three stars if it wasnt for the nice employees. read more

We've been to the MOD Pizza establishments in Seattle and Silverdale so we knew the drill. Visited MOD Boise on Milwaukee Friday evening around 6pm. A family of 4 and a couple were in front of us so figured we'd have our order in fairly quick. Service was extremely slow and we waited nearly 15 minutes before being able to place our order. Pies came out in good time and the food was good but it seemed the staff was not fully trained. Wall menu is in a poor spot. People new to MOD can't see the menu until they are a few feet from ordering. Other MOD's have the menu board visible as you walk in the door so if you are in a long line, you have time to study the options and avoid causing a delay when ordering. I'll give this location another try in a few months. In the meantime, I'll visit the MOD in downtown Boise and see if it is better. read more

Their website says they cook pizza really fast but that wasn't my experience tonight. I waited a long time for my to go order even though they weren't even busy. Also, the employees were more focused on talking and letting my pizza get cold. By the time I got home which was only a few min away my pizza was soggy and cold. I was hesitant to try a new pizza place because I know what I like, but am I glad I did!! The "Dillon James" was SO good. Their crust is cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings! Even reheated the next day (even though I could of ate a whole medium pizza in one sitting) it was delish. I have been to Mod Pizzas across the US and this one did not stand up. I am gluten free and they did not take any basic steps that they do at any of their other restaurants. When I told the gal that they needed to put the crust on the paper vs directly on the cross contaminated tray she argued with me. In addition it was not clean and staff could really give two craps about it. I would not recommend this location although I do love Mod. read more

Ate there 10/29/2021 after going to a production of Cats and then going to Pen Gillys. The pizza was not bad. I would rate it above Pie Hole, Guido's and Wise Guy pizza. Not as good as Smoking mountain Pizza. The edges of the pizza were burned but I suspect it is how fast they try to get them ready. Not sure if I would eat there again. This pizza was so disappointing. It was supposed to have a pesto drizzle but was BONE dry; cheese, way too many mushrooms, a couple tiny red pepper slices, and nothing else. Everyone in this house LOVES mod. We were over the moon that they opened one in Boise. The pizza is phenomenal, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the vibes are nice. Love the variety in the salad and how you can add all of your favorite items into the bow of your choice. My mom wanted me to add that she dropped cash out of her pocket and one of the employees picked it up and gave it back to her. 11/10 recommended mod to anyone and everyone. Shoutout to Skylar for being a great staff member, he deserves a raise for sure. Efficient staff. Forgettable pizza. But that NO NAME CAKE thing, it's kind of like a home made ring ding or is it ding dong? Whatever it is, go to MOD, skip the pizza and proceed to that tray of goodness near the register. Pick up one of those foil wrapped bad boys and thank me later. It is a delicious airy chocolate cake with a creamy vanilla filling, then the whole thing is coated in delicious chocolate. It's MAGICAL! I had one yesterday and thought about it all day today. Pizza is fine (it's the equivalent to a slightly fancy Pizza Hut) but their online ordering is the WORST! Don't expect to have your order ready when they tell you it should be. I've gone twice now, ordered online both times, and they hadn't made my order until 20-30 minutes after they said it would be completely done. I don't normally feel obliged to share my opinions but this seemed rather urgent. To start off I love coming here because the pizza is great and most workers are very friendly and chatty! But I noticed something odd with one of the ladies working there. She was rather snobby and very rude to not me but her own co-workers. I've worked with someone like this before and it's a living hell. Most times I come in and everyone is very upbeat but this time everyone seemed a little on edge and quieter. Then one lady who was making my pizza said something very snobby and petty to one of the boys cooking the pizzas about gloves which is understandable in these times but when it's said like how she said it and it obviously effects the attitude of everyone in the restaurant that is a nasty thing! After the gloves remark she was very obviously putting other co workers down for very petty things like I heard her say something about placing pepperoni and how it ought to be placed among other ridiculous and petty things. When asked for her name she denied and so I found out that it was Danielle or Danica(hard to hear because of masks). This is not a review this is something that needs to be done.
