I know I've gone to a great place when the next day I think about going back like a great first date! I didn't even know this place existed tucked away in the bustling food central of Bartram Park. Had we not had teacher appreciation day with a hearty 50% off pizza offer, I would have missed out. Being new to MOD, I chose one of the recipes off the wall menu-Mad Dog: sausage, pepperoni and ground beef. But then when I was told there was no charge for extra toppings I went buck wild as if being told I had a blank check to pay for dinner! I went for the olives, green peppers, purple onions, and when I noticed I was getting out of hand, to be a lady, I stopped and decided I'll save some toppings for the people behind me in line. I wish I had known I could choose between double crust and regular, but there will be many next times for that. The freshness of the pizza crust and the colorful pizza was really memorable. The atmosphere very trendy and cool, made me feel like I was hip by being there. Condiments could be chosen at the community counter where all your supplies are, to enjoy your eating experience. I had such a great eating session with my family, I didn't even mind being responsible for putting my own stuff away at the end. We finally made it to MOD pizza and absolutely loved it!! My sister and her family were in town and this was the perfect place for family dinner. There were 4 adults and 1 child. We ordered 4 custom pizzas and a custom salad. The BEST thing about MOD is that you choose any and every topping for your pizza/salad. The toppings were delicious and the pizza was so fresh and crisp! We got the garlic sticks but you can take those or leave them, they were tasty but not very substantial. The salad turned out fantastic and was super fresh! It's nice that all the toppings are separate, specifically for people with dietary restrictions. After your pizzas are baked, you can add side sauces to the order. The Balsamic Fig sauce is so delicious!! I cannot believe it's house made, it's fantastic!! The pesto was also so tasty! Happened to stumble in for the grand opening so we decided to give MOD pizza a try. Love pizza and especially the concept of customized pizzas that cook fairly quick along with efficient service. Pricing is fair, esp since you can customize based on your likes. Service for the various times we visited have been consistent - staff are attentive and very helpful. They are quick and efficient- one piece flow where one employee passes the pizza down the line asking the customer what toppings they'd like. While visiting my sister in Jacksonville she mentioned this new spot for pizza. We of course yelped it to see what it was all about. The reviews don't lie. This is a unique pizza/salad spot. We have a few quick fire pizza places back home, but none that truly have the amount of customizations as mod. There are pizza choices already put together for you but why would you ever do that over build your own. This fits right in with the trend of you being the one to decide every single item on your pizza or salad. The size is pretty great too, and for the price and amount of options I personally think it was totally worth it. In a group of 4 adults and 1 child we ordered 4 pizzas, an order of the garlic sticks( we absolutely could've done without them, not bad by any means just no where near as amazing as the pizza), and a regular size salad. What is great about this place is that typically when I am with family or friends and they want pizza I tend to be left out due to food allergy's (dairy & meet free). This place is very special for anyone with such allergies or other dietary restrictions. The salads, along with the pizzas are build your own. First time left a great impression! I have recently had to go dairy free, and heard that MOD Pizza had a dairy free cheese. Then when I visited, I also learned it's the same price for a personal pizza, no matter how many toppings you get. Their pizza (and dairy free cheese) was delicious, and the service was kind and helpful (shout out to Nick). I made my own pizza with veggies and garlic. It was filling (I can eat a lot). I left full and satisfied. Their lemonades were also delicious. Perfect combination of tart and sweet, and made in house. Nice decor and clean atmosphere. I will definitely be back. read more

Here's the thing- I love the pizza here! I rave to friends about how they should try it. I gave out gift cards for Christmas The employees have always been super friendly. It's so out of my way to get to this location, but I have made specific trips just to get their pizza. My only complaint is the BURNT taste from the char on the bottom of my pizza. It's like this at all the similar concept pizza places (Blaze, Pieology). I have to ask for ("light bake", "blonde") and babysit the oven attendant and sometimes it still has the black junk I have to scrape off. I don't get how this isn't an issue for more people. I wonder if they could remove it from inside their oven more often to prevent this? So, overall, I don't fault specifically MOD, but hope maybe some constructive suggestions may improve this. Thin crust pizza Mod Pizza is located town center on the corner of close to 95. Me and my sister got there late evening around 8:30 so there was no issues with parking near door. The staff was nice and helpful. The pizza was good and crunchy. We shared an 11 inch pizza called the Monster for $11.00. You get 4 slices. If you have children this may not be the place for you. I have boys and it would be very expensive. They would need a pizza by themselves with an additional pizza. The pizza is not worth that expensive price. Nice place for a small family or a date. I really enjoyed this place! Great choices - I always prefer a white pizza and they had a wide variety of toppings so you can make whatever your heart desires. I ended up having one of their house specialties "the Dominic" and it was pretty darn yummy...but what put it really over the top for me is the addition of the Hot Honey. Yeah you heard me. Honey with a kick! Apparently it's only available seasonally so you have to be sure to get it while it's hot. Can't wait to go back and try another one! read more

I've been here a few times and I just find the place to be average. It's not bad, but it's not particularly great either. In the last few years we've seen a proliferation for these build your own pizza places and I've tried them all. For me, Your Pie is my favorite. I like Pieology too. But this place and Blaze Pizza just don't really seem to be as flavorful in my opinion. After all these places are predicated on you making your own pizza. This location was terrible using DoorDash! They got the order wrong, and when the pizza showed up both were made wrong (requested and paid extra for thick dough got regular, wrong toppings) and the pizzas were dried up like beef jerky! Called them they said to contact Door Dash, got a merely $7 credit. I will not be back here. And that's sad because I love MOD, just stay away from this location. When I'm craving pizza during the work week, this is the best spot to come to. You get to make your own personalized pizza with unlimited toppings. No seriously, unlimited toppings. I usually go for a Mediterranean vibe with spinach, feta, basil and a pesto swirl. So good! Since I'm here during the week on my lunch hour I don't partake but they do have some beer and wine. But the crust on this pizza is nothing. Its not pizza dough. What is it? Its thin as a wafer. Its like pita bread, only its the thinnest pita bread you ever had. So this is pizza toppings on wafer. If you're on a diet or you can't eat much bread, this is your pizza place, but It's not going to fill you up if you're a hungry guy. I would cross the street and go to Brooklyn Pizza and get twice the pizza for less than half the price. Tried this place for the first time and utilized "curbside". Was supposed to call when we got there. I called them, and they said they'd be out soon. They weren't busy. After about 15 minutes of seeing people come in, sit down, and then get their food, I figured something went wrong. Called them and sure enough, they forgot about us. My wife and I ate here recently. For a little more than $8, you can get an 11" wood fired pizza with some delicious toppings. We placed the order online and picked it up, so I didn't get to check out the feel of the place, but I note they have several craft beers and $2 Tuesday's, and outdoor seating. So, when it warms up it should be a good place to hang. As for the pizza, probably the best pizza I've had in many months. The toppings were ample and flavorful. I was greedy and ate my entire pizza in one sitting, but my wife were smarter and made two meals out of hers. We will certainly be back. We came back last week, introducing our son daughter in law and my father in law. Everyone loved the pizza! My father in law liked it so much he treated us to dinner here again a couple of days later. Each pizza is so loaded with toppings, we had leftovers. All around this place was ok. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and nice. We liked being able to pick what we wanted for toppings. The toppings seemed fresh and were tasty. A few things are that the diet coke was horrible tasting. It didn't even taste like diet coke. The price was a little high. We had a coupon, but without two 11" sized pizzas would have been almost $40! This is pretty pricey for pizza. This price is a little high for a place that is self service.
