I must start this out with, I Love MOD Pizza! This review is not about the food but about this particular location. I was looking forward to my lunch like you can't believe, I called the location an hour before they opened just to ensure they had dinning in available. They did even though Google said they didn't. I always pick the ingredients I want on my cauliflower crust pizza. When I was called up to get my pizza the first clue that something was wrong, is they called me Mark; my names is not Mark. Then there's also the fact that it took twice as long as my coworker's pizza, who was halfway done eating his pizza; when I was the first one to order. When I went up to the counter kind of confused to get my pizza the guy asked "you had the cauliflower crust pizza right" I said yes. He handed me the one for Mark. Thinking the girl making the pizza just didn't hear my name through my mask, I took the pizza to my seat to finally eat my lunch. After eating two slices into what I thought was my pizza I start to realize somethings not right. I usually put spinach on my pizza but this spinach taste like basil, then I start examining my pizza more closely. This isn't the pizza they made in front of me. When I take the pizza back to the counter after some conversation and debate about what I asked for and what was on the pizza. The guy finally admitted that my pizza was dropped, and they remade it with what they thought I wanted. My issue isn't with the fact that the pizza was dropped, accidents happen no big deal. It's how they tried to recover from the accident, that I have the most issue with. They could have said; excuse me Sir we accidentally dropped you pizza would you mind telling us what you had on it again? My response would have been sure no problem! But that's not what happened instead they put the topping they thought were on the original pizza, what if I was allergic to one of those topping, rather than just really not liking it. Why would you make that assumption and waste yours and my time? I appreciate the offer to remake the pizza again but why waste more time and ingredients to remake the pizza again for a third time when it really could have only taken once. I feel this situation was handled extremely poorly. I hope this is used as a lessons learned scenario for the future. Thank you. read more

First time stopping at a MOD Pizza. I really like the concept of being able to make your own pizza. We decided to try the pizza options they had and I can't wait to try it. There was a little wait to order, but overall a clean restaurant. read more

Disappointed once again with Mod pizza in Mesa AZ, being a fan of Mod, having enjoyed the pizza from numerous locations, gave them a second try. First visit pizza under cooked, still wet in the middle, gooey dough in center, slightly crisp on the edge, was with a guest, so just let it ride. Tonight, asked for additional cooking. Cook a little longer,Extra crispy on the crust please. Again wet soggy middle. Cheese barely melted, pepperoni hardly sweated , couldn't cut the pizza without getting wet paper from underneath. So very disappointed. Wonderful pizza at other locations, Mesa store needs some training, doubt I'll be back to Mesa location, even though just a couple miles from home, will drive for better pie read more

Love the food but absolutely hate the service we receive at this Mod location. The staff actually seem irritated that you came in for food. They never say thank you, never make eye contact or even acknowledge you at the counter. We had to ask one of the 6 employees behind the counter who were doing NOTHING to ring us up. The manager dude was wearing his face mask under his chin. Either don't wear it... or wear it correctly. Great service. The team was working hard and it was busy. It didn't take long to get food and both the tea and lemonade taste homemade. Very helpful pizza makers. From the man who showed me the sizes to make sure I knew which size I wanted to the man who put it in line to be cook, the man who put it in the oven and the one who called my name for pick up. Even the man who took our money was helpful and pleasant. All helpful and smiling. By far the best pizza I've ever had. Made by probably the most helpful and pleasant person who has helped me make decisions with so many choices. Thank you Tre for helping make my pizza and making my night. Great teamwork. read more

Horrible customer service. This location has several women that seem to be higher than a kite and another female to just doesn't seem to understand that I can add whatever I want on my salad. We eat at mod in Queen Creek 2x a week and there service is amazing however I've tried here at Recker 3x and all 3 have been a shit show experience. My entire office will not be back. read more

We were so excited when we found out MOD was coming to our area! It did not disappoint! They have been open a month now , but still seem a little disorganized. They might have been short staffed, who knows, but it took awhile to get through the line-for everyone. Our pizzas were a little more than charred- practically black underneath. However, being fairly new I can forgive these things and the pizza was pretty good. I know we will be regulars and within a month or two they will get it dialed in and get their 5th star. read more

We were in the process of ordering and I was paying and they moved my wife behind several other people and they named it wrong. They then put it in the counter and when they finally figured out it was my wife's they took it off the counter and going to put it back on a plate. I refused it and instructed them to remake it. First off, above and beyond all my complaints, the food at mod is definitely some of the best pizza and desserts I have ever had. (even the single melted no name cake) That being said my latest order had three first world problems definitely worth mentioning. 1) the paying part of their website blows. I reset my password 3 times before finally checking out as a guest, because their website could not sync with wherever their passwords are stored. 2) Please, put hot and cold things in separate bags. I ordered a soda and a no name cake(s) in addition to two pizzas. The soda and cake were sat right on top of my hot pizza. When I got home, my top pizza was cold and my soda was warm and the no name cake was melted into the foil. 3). The website shows 2 no name cakes in the picture and nowhere states you only get one. This, for a price nearing $2.30. I could live with that price for two. Everyone has to make a living. However upon getting home, there was only one no name cake. For just over $2.20... Awesome food, but be careful what accessories you order. read more

Went there for the first time for a to go for myself and 2 of my kids. 3 pizzas and 2 were incorrect, which I didn't know until I drove all the way home. Since they write everything on the paper, I figured getting it wrong would be hard to do, plus there was only 2 other people in store who were already eating so not busy. I asked for a pizza and they turned it into their "special", added jalapeños, which I never asked for. Even taking them off it was too hot to eat. The toppings were almost non existent, I expected a full topping pizza, close to the pictures I have seen . I was highly disappointed and will not be back. The reason for the 2 stars is the staff was extremely nice. Hoping for a new store they improve. read more

5 Stars all day to the awesome crew at Mod Longbow. First try on the pizza was a tad over cooked, they let me keep that one and promptly gave it another try. As I finished my Orange Blossom, they had a new pie ready within minutes and even provided a coupon for my next visit. Well done Mod Longbow, I will be back!! read more

Terrible management. My redemption coupon was for one free pizza with an order of equal or smaller size. The cashier scanned my coupon on the phone but after I paid I realized that I was charged full price for both. He told the manager and she said she was too busy to help me. This MOD Pizza is my absolute favorite to go to! Liz, David and the rest of the crew are always so friendly and amazing every time myself or my family comes in. My fiancé and I had a good first experience but today (our second time being in) we went in an there was nobody in line at all! One of the girls (she had several nose piercing and was short white girl) asked what she could get us we told her two mini pizzas! She asked what sauces and my fiancé tried to tell her the "first one will have white sauce" and before he could finish she cut him off and said "wait I need to write this down". She was extremely unfriendly and seemed as if we were inconveniencing her. She then begins working on my fiancé's pizza (the one with white sauce) instead of asking if he wanted anything else on the pizza she goes straight to the cheese and asked if he wanted mozzarella he said yes so she added the cheese and he told her I also want pesto. She instantly looked annoyed went and put the pizza on the shelf and with a nasty attitude went to go and press another crust. A guy then came to help her for some odd reason even though it was just my fiancé and I nobody In front or behind us. My fiancé goes to pay and she says "any drinks" and he told her yes one large drink and I happened to ask for a water cup and she says "over there" and just points! She grabs the large drink and basically slapped it on the counter. I understand that sometimes people aren't having the greatest day but it's workers like that that will keep people from going back in and to be honest your customer service should be 100% at all times! I don't know if my fiancé and I will return to this location and that's pretty upsetting! read more
