We have tried 3 different times now the gluten free deep dish pizza at this location. They cannot seem to cook it all of the way. And we also got a non- gluten free pizza tonight for our guests and it wasn't cooked all the way either. Add to that the staff who passed by me over a dozen times without making eye contact, the service is very poor. We fell in love with the deep dish gluten free pizza in Casa Grande. Usually, Barro's is great. Not this time, not this location. I ordered the #7 lunch special. The Pizza was cold, I asked for different slices but was denied because the girl running the register said I had already sat down at the table, and i took too long (2-3mins) to bring the slices back. Excuse me... I said as she attempted to ignore me, which just pissed me off. I finally received different slices when another staff member came out of the kitchen and noticed I was still waiting. Walked in around 945pm, it was pretty quiet. There were two groups eating inside. The young lady Madison at front was helping someone. Once she finished, she greeted me with a smile, asked for my name, and brought me my order. I paid and walked back out to car to leave. As I was driving home, I realized I didn't leave a tip so I was bummed... but I realized she never handed me a receipt to sign after I paid (so she kinda blocked her own blessing) Anyway, everything was DELISH. After terrible service last time they now make you say the last four of the debit card you used to pay for your pizza .. we paid through Apple Pay with our debit card and I told her the last four of the card and she gave us attitude saying it wasn't the right code when it was the card we used. ..even showed her the receipt we had online and it showed the last four I told her ..rolled her eyes and gave me my food I PAID for...seriously starting to hate this location. read more

Ok, so: considering that any Pizza ordered in the US will not be a classic Italian one, made to the classic size and method, and that a White Pizza has - horror!! - tomato sauce on it so is is NOT a "white" pizza!!! ... I like their pizza - even if it's not the Italian original ones I grew up eating living in Milano. I am a devotee of White Pizza because I am a cheese lover & (possibly) fanatic, it's all I usually order, and because the classic Margherita made with a light tomato sauce (no handfuls of origano please) with thin slices of fresh mozzarella and some fresh basil is not on the menu, and the meats used by all restaurants are too spicy - everyone is heck bent on "let's spice everything up all the time"; my allergy to chiles et al is too prominent and forbids me from eating anything else. Sadly a while back they changed the sauce, it's not as creamy or plentiful as before, and that's a pity because it was quite tasty, garlicky, and good. So one star less on that, and the pizza is not as crispy as it should be - we live literally 7 minutes away so I'd expect the pizza piping hot and the bottom not to be soft :( Another star gone. We usually order delivery and haven't eaten in the restaurant for a long time, so can't say anything about the service or the atmosphere; I think the last time we dined there was over four or five years ago before Covid hit and changed everyone's life. I think restaurants in general are too focused on the things everyone else is doing, therefore not individualistic enough, and don't take note of other more important items such as general customer satisfaction or especially ones that have been dining or ordering repeatedly over the years. I ordered my pizza online today and went to pick up my pizza at 1pm. Needless to say they were busy. I waited in line until I got closer to the counter when I saw the big Online Orders sign. I got out of line and stood under the sign and waited and waited and waited. There was a young man and lady working the counter. I tried to make eye contact. They did not acknowledge I was there. After 10 minutes, asked if anyone was working the online orders and they said I had to stand in line. So back to the end of the line I went. When I got to the front to pick up my pizza, I shared with the young man that it would have been nice if when they saw me standing under the online order sign to let me know to join the main line. He ignored my comment and walked away. I then asked if he was going to respond and he shrugged and turned away. I've worked in the restaurant business for years including managing a pizza restaurant. I've grown up on Barro's Pizza in Southern California and it's flavor has always always stayed consistent no matter what state I've purchased it in. The sauce has always tasted fresh as well as the ingredients. The salads are delicious. This location I have to say was excellent we decided to dine in instead of getting it to go and I was shocked by how clean it was and the staff was very consistent and friendly not to mention they were on top of the social distancing so if you have the time to dine in I would definitely recommend doing so. read more

We used to order from them all the time but the quality got a little lackluster after awhile. Also, we like having crumbled sausage and for some reason they stopped crumbling it. Even when we did a special order over the phone, the guy said they couldn't do it but didn't say why. We understand if it comes sliced now, just let us know. But yeah. Overall though, good pizza, good toppings. Suggestion if you're gonna order, say you want the crust "well done". A few times we forgot to put that and the crust came back a little too doughy. We love Barro's and I'm happy to say that we will be visiting this location more often. They have a full menu and a kids menu. They also have a kids area but due to Covid it is not in use. Seating is every other table as well. The employees are friendly and keep the restaurant clean! read more

Took my Daughter and 4 grandkids 3-8yrs (2 hers) and yes it's chaotic The girl taking the order (had a mask on, it doesn't matter but only way to describe her) was not friendly and acted like we were an annoyance. Asked for 4 waters, and we got 4 straws and 4 cups, asked for lids, no lids..hummmm, 4 young kids and no lids ok!! So we were needy and every time we had to ask for something the other 2 gals were so helpful even when one of kids tipped her water over!! Imagine that. First time coming here, the experience at first hand was very nice and there was a guy with a hat working cashier, he seemed nice and attentive - However this isn't the case. I had ordered a cookie sundae and the time waiting for a cookie sundae seemed to throw me off since I had to supposedly wait 40 MINUTES. The promised time was 8:24 and wasn't delivered on time had to wait till 8:33 for a cookie. Technically 50 DAMN MINUTES for a cookie that's not even decently sized. we decided to order tonight for a fundraiser to benefit the high school. two X-Large pizzas. my son wanted the meat lovers and his looked fantastic. loaded with meat. mine was a build my own and it was disappointing. just the base pizza is $$ and then I asked for Italian sausage onions and mushrooms. I barely got anything on this pizza but dairy free cheese. really? the onions were remnant onions (different cuts) and the mushrooms were barely there. these thin tiny shavings. the sausage wasn't even all over and certainly lacking on the pizza.
