This place is so fun! As many toppings as you want for the same price. I got the 6" and everything was fresh and it was plenty of pizza for less than $7 They also have a couple great beer choices and their flavored tea- you HAVE to try them all. Mod pizza: over all it was a great experience I have eaten here plenty of times before. I really don't like how they yell at you at the door. The music is loud but classy. I wish Yelp had half stars, and if this is a thing and I don't know about it, please tell me. I say this because I would give MOD 4.5 stars because they are good. Pretty good even. But not great. I have tired a couple of there pizzas, and this past time I got the Dillion James (I believe) and it was good but they didn't add the artichoke hearts or mushrooms I asked for. In their haste they had forgotten. I mean, I did only notice at the half way point, but still. :) anyways their tea and lemonade ma are good as well. We are from out of town, been hiking all day, it's late and we were Hangry! We didn't know about MOD and popped in. Not only was the menu interesting, the food was served quickly and all the kids working here were so hospitable and great! They even gave us an extra pizza that was ordered mistakenly by another patron. Aside from all our pizzas bring fresh and delicious (Mady, Tristan, Crispan) the salad was tasty as well! This place is so good! The prices are cheap and you can't beat creating your own pizza. The food is fast, but good. It's family friendly and great for date nights. Seating inside can be limited due to the fact that they are almost always busy. They have patio seating, which is nice in Spring and Summer. However, Fall and Winter is too cold and they have no heaters on the patio. My only complaint at MOD pizza would be the lack of sauce they put on it. That can be easily fixed by asking for a little extra sauce, which I feel you shouldn't have to ask, but it doesn't kill ya! Overall a fun place with good pizza. read more

Had to ask the guys name but... Jared killed it, did an absolutely great job with our pizzas, was more than professional, and had a great attitude. We have had other pizza makers in the past be a little hard to direct as to what we want, but god dang he nailed it. Hope this guy is what they train the other employees to be. This place is AMAZING! As soon as I walked in the gentleman yelled out Hey Welcome to Mod's! And I told him I was here to pick up right when the doors opened and he immediately threw my pizza in the oven. I told him that this was my first time and I was told this is the BEST pizza! He brought my pizza out and told me that since they just started the oven my crust was a little dark and he was gonna box it up and male me a fresh one because he wanted me to have the best! And then gave me the first pizza to tale home! Mod's definitely has my vote and I will not only recommend them, but I'll come here for my pizza in Redding every time! Love this place! Pizza is really good. I've been there 4 times since they've opened. I would suggest the roasted garlic it's to die for and they have coca cola products :0) The restaurant is clean. Pizza was delicious but sadly I was confronted by Tina about sitting at an unmarked table that was apparently for staff breaks and she rudely told me to get up and move. I would have had no problem is she asked politely but it was definitely not. I like mod pizza but if I am going to be treated this way here I will not come back and let everyone know of the poor customer service from I'm assuming a Manager. She also rudely told me to put my mask on while I was taking a drink. I understand the mask thing but me having it off for not even 5 seconds to take a drink. I can't recommend Mod enough. Their servers are always very friendly and quick, and the lines move fast. The pizza itself is an amazing deal due to their flat rate and not charging you by the topping. Keep in mind you're ordering personal pizzas, not something to share with your whole family. The only slight negative Is that the lines can be really long sometimes, but that's a good testament to how great they are.
