I went to this location with my stomach and mind made up about getting pizza. I don't want to be rude but the worker preparing the food that was making the pizzas had a very hairy beard that in my opinion should be covered up when working with food. Ironic I have seen bald people with hair nets?! But no beard net? Gross and disgusting. His beard wasn't even looked like he cares for it. Personalized pizza, as many toppings as you want for the same price. I've got to say that's pretty amazing. At many other pizza places, I might have trouble deciding the three toppings I want on my pizza, but I love that I don't have to do that here. Lately I've been getting the red sauce, no cheese, and a bunch of veggies. And I'm delighted at the myriad, diverse options for vegetables. Came here on their Customer Appreciation Day when they gave out a free 11 inch pizza per customer from 12-6pm. The first time I came here, my pizza came out burnt and oily so I didn't think to come back here again, but after today, I think I'd be willing to come back! All of the workers are super friendly and make the ordering process fun; it was super hectic today because of the free pizza, but all of the workers were very kind and patient with each customer. They even gave out free ice cream to people waiting in line! *FOOD* A build-your-own pizza is $8.50, and they let you add as many toppings as you'd like. If you have trouble deciding, you can also go with one of their classics. They offer gluten-free dough and a lot of different toppings on a thin crust. I personally liked the spicy Italian sausage and roasted red peppers, which added a nice kick to my pizza! *LOCATION* Lots of parking! This place is in a large complex with Target, Psycho Donuts, Panera Bread, and other stores. I've been here before on a regular day and there's never been a long wait, and there's a good number of indoor and outdoor seating. *SERVICE* Service is great. Pleasantly surprised at what I got for the price. I really like the concept of any topping you want for the same price. The MOD pizza is 11" and is great for one person, if that is all you are eating. Then everyone can get the pizza made to their preference and you don't have to sacrifice when dining with others. The mini pizza is 6" and that might be good if you plan on eating salad. The pizza dough is a thin crust, which happens to be my preference. The dough is average tasting, nothing special but once topped, it hits the pizza crave right on. This is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter (you see the toppings and select them from the toppings bar) and then get your own drink and find a seat. There is no table service. I went to a MOD Pizza about 2 years ago in the Seattle area. So I finally noticed the mod pizza and thought I would try them. I enjoy ordering ahead of time and going to pick up my food. So I went online ordered my pizza. When I got there I was able to walk straight up to the right side where you pick up your pizza and tell them my name. They have my pizza ready to go and my little soda glass. I enjoyed the fact that my pizza was low-calorie since I'm had it made that way. Three things I'd like to focus on is speed, quality, and price. Price is straightforward, byo personal pizza at a very low cost. You would expect that the employees would be knowledgeable about preset menu combos, as they are made to be easy decisions. The staff had to ask me what toppings were in the pizza that I ordered, it was a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. The place wasn't crowded, so this didn't slow anyone else down. One question I try to brush on is: would I recommend this place? The answer is no--even if you were looking for a quick, inexpensive personal sized pizza, I would not recommend MOD Pizza, the dough isn't very tasty, and lacks the great taste a pizza should have. If you want something similar, get Blaze Pizza instead. read more

Not a single person was washing their hands after cleaning the counters. The guy who prep my pizza, was too stingy on toppings and clearly wasn't paying any attention to me when I would be requesting for toppings. Not only was there poor hand washing skills, the employees will let your pizza burn. I saw one employee drop a bottle on sauce on the floor and put it in the bin they have all their sauce bottles. Being spoiled by Pizza Studio I had slightly high expectations for this build your own pie place, and was disappointed by the attitude of the server when I asked her to spread the toppings across evenly on the mini pie.
