I ordered two meals from Moe's Southwest Grill menu online through DoorDash. One meal was the nachos and the other one was the Homewrecker. I was very disappointed - it did not taste good at all. unfortunately me and my friend had came there and ordered 2 home wrecker burritos which came to over 43 dollars and my only form of payment I had on me was an 100 dollar bill and they refused to take it so I walked out and went somewhere else btw the person behind the counter was very rude and I will not be going there ever again ...especially when they wouldn't have had to give me back that much change. and there was no sign up that clearly stated they did not accept 100 dollar bills. read more

Oh man, walked in, place was absolutely filthy. Dirty tables and floors everywhere I looked. Absolutely unacceptable. Why is it like this? 3 gals behind the counter. They were friendly and nice. Food was good and fresh. I grabbed a bunch of napkins and hand sanitizer and cleaned off a table and sat down and ate my meal. Other customers came and went, but not too many. Gals behind the counter were talking loudly amongst themselves about other co-workers and schedule conflicts, etc. I simply couldn't understand why not one of those gals came out to the dining area to clean it and perhaps apologize to me for having to clean my own table myself. They weren't that busy, they had time. Just lazy and had more interest discussing the other employees on other shifts. I will never ever return to that particular Moe's location. Management and staff should be ashamed having a dining room so ransacked and disgusting. Stay away! read more

I know it's kids working here. But OHSA /health department rules have to be followed. Hair has to be tied up well better yet hair nets used when preparing foods. And you can't used gloved hands to adjust your hair. Also 1 pair of glove are not to be used your whole shift and touching everything with then preparing food. read more

This is by far the most disgusting Moe's I've ever been in. For starters, there was no "Welcome to Moe's!" when we walked in. Yes, it's annoying, but it's their thing so they should be doing it. Second, the staff is moving at a glacial pace for no reason. The restaurant is not full (there are 3 other tables, one of which is 2 employees on a break) so there's no reason for the delays. Third, the restaurant is FILTHY! All the tables are dirty and clearly haven't been cleaned for a while. The bathroom is dirty, water is ice cold, hand dryer blows cold air. There are cleaning buckets/rags on the dirty counter. The salsa station is empty. I've been to several Moe's franchises but this is the dirtiest I've ever been to. My food was fine. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. Yes, I ordered from Moe's again, even though their food is mostly garbage. My daughter had a late night of practice, so I decided to order a burrito for her. Ugh. The chicken was BURNT. Little black pebble-like bits of blackened chicken. No lettuce. No beans. Missing cheese. A tablespoon of sour cream, salsa and cilantro. The burrito was comprised of 50% rice. Dry as a bone. No more. I've learned my lesson. Our family were frequent visitors of Moe's until our last visit! It was a all female crew and they were extremely rude and made our food wrong and charged us wrong. I wrote a complaint to the company and now 3 weeks later still no word from them so I'm writing a review here because it's obvious corporate doesn't care what customers have to say! I love Moe's, but hate this location. The only time I went, the lady serving me put 2 small pieces of chicken in my burrito. The burrito ended up being half the size it usually is. When I asked the cashier why they gave so little meat to me, his answer was I need to pay extra for extra meat. I have never felt so skimped out of food my whole life. Don't go here. read more

I would like to say that this is one of the best places to eat for cheap in vestal. The staff is very friendly and kind. Every time I go there for a burrito or stack I'm always greeted right away and never an issue with my order. This place is perfection when it comes to the price. This Moe's is hit or miss. Sometimes I order a burrito bowl and the container is full and other times, it's half-empty. The biggest issue I've had here is the consistency of online orders. They've forgotten my salsa more than once. We ordered pickup and they gave us a burrito instead of a bowl, plus part of another person's order (another burrito we didn't order). The good thing is they gave us a refund when we called the store. Most recently, I ordered delivery and literally received an empty cup in the bag and with my food, not the drink I ordered. I'm hoping they'll refund the cost of the drink. It's a lot more convenient for us to order from the Moe's in Vestal, so hopefully they'll get more consistent with online orders. read more

Absolutely disgusting!! Bugs on the walls. Soda machine empty of popular drinks, not a clean table in the place (and barely anyone there), garbage overflowing. (See Pictures). The board of health needs to pay them a visit. Same people apparently own Core Life Eatery. read more

Went to this Moe's the other day. I've been to many before and have never had an issue. However, this location was beyond dirty. The make-line was a mess, food all over the floor and my family had to clean off a table as there were no clean ones. That was our first issue. Second was that my dad and I are both gluten free so needed to opt for the salad or corn tortillas. I got a corn tortilla and upon ordering the employee rolled her eyes and made it seem like this substitution was the biggest inconvenience ever. When the tortilla was handed off to another employee I confirmed it was a corn tortilla and the previous employee butt in saying she heard me ask the first time and that it was a corn tortilla. Just so rude and made me feel so inconvenient for being gluten free. read more

When I get to the register I said I ordered a homewrecker and the lady says "no you ordered a wrong doug." The only thing wrong is the food they gave me and charged me for. We have been frequenting this Moe's for years, and are LOYAL (I'm talking once a week patrons). I don't know WHAT is going on with this Moe's but they NEVER get an online order right. The past four times we've orders via the app, our order has been wrong. Missing items, ingredients missing, ingredients added that weren't requested...complete meals missing, etc. Tonight we showed up for our order that was scheduled for a 5:45 pm pickup. We waited and it wasn't even started yet. Began the order at 6:10....and THEN we get home and items are missing!!! What a waste of our time and money. So disappointing. They need to train their staff at this Vestal Moe's. We will be going to Front Street from now on, unless they can turn things around. read more

I might go so far as to say these are the BEST cheap eats in Vestal! I had a taco and a MOUNTAIN of free chips on the side with UNLIMITED free salsa of my choosing for under $3. My only "beef" would be that the menu appears VERY limited. You have four basic items: taco, burrito, quesadilla, and nachos. Of those, you have three choices: beef, chicken, or meatless. However, upon closer examination, this does make for plenty of vegetarian options - something I always fret over being vegetarian meself! And even though it appears you hav few choices, you can alter your meal to your exact specifications. I opted against rice, for black rather than pinto beans, and for the exact ingredients I wanted on my taco. I might mention, it was SUPER messy. I ended up resorting to eating it with a fork. And the grilled onions were cut rather large and somewhat overwhelmed all the other flavors. The chips were original and tasted good, even without the amazing range of free salsas at the salsa bar! My friend ordered their queso, which was AMAZING. Overall, it's a slightly upscale Taco Bell, but perfection comes with a price - their burritos are in the $5 range, and they might be the most expensive things on the menu. read more

Moe's is a chain but this location is one of the better ones that I've seen. Moe's has burritos, tacos, nachos, etc. The burritos are huge and along with the chips (which come with each meal) you'll probably start leaning back in your seat after eating half of it. I've learned to just get a taco which comes with chips, and that's enough for me. Each meat dish comes with a choice of chicken, steak, ground beef, or tofo (and at one time pork, not sure if they're doing that anymore...), and might include a combination of rice, cheese, salsa, lettuce, guacamole depending on what you get. It's relatively inexpensive (the burritos will run $6ish + $1-$2 drink (optional). I've been there a lot. I did see one questionably sanitary act, a kid serving the salsa with his hands (instead of a scoop) and not changing his gloves. You could imagine how messy his gloves became putting his hands in salsa...and then touching all the other ingredients over and over. I like to think this was an isolated incident. Tuesdays are kids night. I think kids eat free on Tuesdays. They have someone that does face painting. Be prepared for lots of children and background noise if you go that day! So all in all would recommend for a casual meal. read more

Lunch on a Friday ordered from my job for myself and 4 coworkers. I should've known not to order Soul food from a Mexi-cali eatery. All the food was over priced and came in small portions. I ordered the Collard greens $11 bucks ( which was sweet), the Mac and cheese $9 bucks was totally disgusting and reeked of garlic powder and taco powder, LIKE EEEWWW. And the barbeque chicken $20 bucks came in 2 orders $10 a piece, 4 pieces of the smallest chicken thighs I ever saw in my life. No one that ordered was happy with their meals. The cornbread was factory and had already dried out but the time it arrived. $89 bucks for 5 people + a $3 dollar tip. If I dreamt of eating that food ever again, I'd wake up and apologize to my stomach. read more

Usually I love Moe's, but this location doesn't cut it at all. When I went, they gave me the smallest scoop of chicken in my burrito that I have ever seen. When I asked why I got so little, all they told me was that I could get more food if I paid for more. They gave me the smallest burrito I have ever received from any restaurant. The same money that I paid for a Moe's burrito could have got me a Chipotle burrito that would've had way more food. Don't come to this location for Moe's food, you'll be disappointed. read more

I really don't like eating fast food unless it's an emergency so if I am going to eat fast food, I like to make it as healthy as possible. Came into Moe's this past Saturday night and the place was winding down for the evening. I wanted to go with a rice bowl but then learned they don't have brown rice here. Come on Moe's, everyone likes some brown rice! They had two different kinds of seasoned white rice but no brown. I skipped the rice bowl completely and went with a salad bowl. Shreds of lettuce, sautéed mushrooms, onions and peppers, I did double chicken, which was great and all except for the fact that there were chunks of mystery meat in the chicken container that made their way into my salad bowl. Thinking it was steak, which was annoying because I don't eat red meat. I added some corn mixture, some pinto beans and black beans medium salsa and did some sort of vinaigrette on the side along with a side of guacamole. SKIP THE GUAC. Sorry but yuck. Literally the saltiest thing I've ever tasted, zero flavor, just mushy salt dip that's truly how I felt about it. I wanted some chips but didn't want the salt on them so I asked the woman at the cashier if she had any chips without salt on them. She said no but that she would make some for me. It was towards the end of the night (ish) it was like 8 pm and so I said no way do no make them for me and the girl insisted. I thought that was awesome and she was more than happy to do it for me. I thought the staff here was great all around, really great. They had a little salsa bar so that you could choose your salsas and take them home, those tasted good. My food was decent, not the guac, but the salad bowl in general was decent. The chicken is not the best quality and the ingredients in there were salty but for fast food I tried to make it as healthy as possible. Unfortunately the next day I was feeling awfully unwell and I am attributing my sour stomach to Moe's as the only other thing I ate that day was a wrap with local vegetables and I am doubtful it was from that. Heartburn and a bad stomach make me not want to go back. I felt like less oil and less salt would go a long way for Moe's. read more

Good place to get a burrito/taco quick fix. They have tofu and they know when I say "no dairy" not to start asking me for cheese and sour cream. They ask you everything so I haven't really had any problems with mistakes. Definitely not the healthiest choice in the world, but that's not what I'm thinking about whenever I go here. Staff is friendly too. Never had a person with a sour face or attitude. CONS: I try to stay away from their fried and then re-fried chips both because they are awful for you and because they taste like fry grease. Also sometimes their salsa tastes a little bit like Windex because it's obvious some of their employees are sloppy about cleaning the table around the salsa and spay when food is still in the way. This Vestal restaurant and the chain is going downhill fast. This used to be our weekly TexMex fix and it was cheaper than Chipotle. But now the chain has eliminated white meat chicken (even though the advertisements all show it), they've recreated the menu so there is less choice but more cost. For this restaurant it is pretty gross to eat at. Whenever I pick up a tray it feels like it is coated with all the previous customers germs. Not sure the trays ever get cleaned/washed- doesn't feel like it- or are they just wiped off??? The drink area is always a mess and I really question how clean & sanitary the ice teas and lemons are :( The seats & tables don't get wiped up often enough and you could build a burrito from all that is on the floor! Chips used to be good but lately they've been super oily. or super burnt. or super salted. or all 3. Not lovin' Moe's anymore. Guess I'm heading back to Chipotle.... read more
