My parents wanted to order this style of noodle but they also decided to not come with me so that left me in quite a bind. They have never been either and didn't know what to order but in the end the process went decently. The food was ready fairly quickly after we ordered. The worker there then explained that there were a condiment station that I could fill up and add to my noodles. There were a ton of really spicy sides and she pointed out a few things to avoid. I'm not sure where I can find a bowl of noodles for only $11 anymore in LA. Great price and filling! I ordered the #1 Gulin Style Rice Noodles. I noticed that it does not have soup and asked the friendly worker, she'd gladly offered me a bowl of soup on the side. The noodles has full of flavor from the protein in the noodles. The noodles are the softest I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant. I couldn't even finished the last 1/3 and had to ask for a container to go. Great addition in food court area. Cash or Zelle only. Best, most authentic Guilin noodles around. Delicious, full-flavored, briny, spicy, pickled flavor. I get either #1 (Classic Guilin Style Dry Rice Noodle) or #8 (Beef and Pork Intestine Noodle Soup). Love the pickled long beans. I add a bit of every condiment. You only need a bit of the chili oil and pickled chili paste. Both are genuinely spicy. They give you a small bowl of bone broth with #1, and I add a bit to the noodles and drink the rest. The #8 is my favorite though. The soup broth is so good. The intestines complement this type of spicy flavor perfectly. Plus you get nice tender pieces of beef flank. Why choose one when you can get both? It tastes like China. Can't complain. read more

The one review complaining about the price being too high for amount of meat served has no idea what he's talking about. I ordered the Dry Guilin Noodle for $11, no tax or anything on top of that. The amount of meat and noodles served was on par with all other places I've tried and maybe even a bit more noodles (which is always a plus). The owners seem very cute friendly and are a family working together! Taste was good and love how you self-serve the toppings - the only thing I'd improve on is the topping options themselves. Today was a rainy day, and after shopping at 99 Supermarket, I stopped by the food court on the left to have a bowl of rice noodles. I ordered the No. 2 sour and spicy rice noodles with chicken gizzards, which was reasonably priced and had a decent portion size. The only downside was that the pickled beans and peanuts were a bit too scarce, which didn't quite satisfy my craving. The spiciness of the noodles was moderate, with a slight tanginess, and there were pickled vegetables and chili available at the cashier for self-service. I asked the cashier if I could pay extra to add more pickled beans, but they said it wasn't possible. The staff were friendly, and I understood their policy. For those who, like me, love pickled beans and peanuts, I suggest buying some ready-to-eat ones from 99 Supermarket and adding them to your noodles yourself. Horrible attitude. I usually don't give one star but this is my first time. I was thinking if is my problem but I did look at some other comments and people do see the same thing. The lady (short hair) up front is horrible. She is so petty with super bad attitude. Me and my friend ordered two bowls of noodles. I put (self-serve bar) the cilantro, green onions and radish in my bowl but I would like the chili sauce be on the side. The lady doesn't even give us a small container or sauce plate for it. So I took a togo lid from the stack at the counter and wanted to use it to hold my chilli sauce. She saw me and immediately yelled at me saying she needed to take the plastic lid back. Oh well, ok I gave her back the lid and I asked for a little "sauce plate" or small container to hold chilli. She refused. So I took a spoon to hold my chilli. She yelled at me again saying, in Mandarin, "YOU, ONLY TWO PERSONS, TOOK ME 4 SPOONS, ONLY TWO OF YOU TOOK ME 4 SPOONS. YOU CANNOT DO THAT". Oh my God I was shocked and felt being humiliated with about 5-6 other customers around me at that time. I said to her politely I only use it to hold my chilli sauce and I'm not taking it home. I will return it to her (it's a silverware). Oh well. Me and my friend will never come back here. The service is ridiculous. And I'm gonna file a complaint to officials. Mojie Noodle is located in a small food court in a plaza, it's right next to Sunright. There's quite a bit of seats and there are other food places to choose from. My parents and I came on a Sunday afternoon, it was a bit busy but there were still some seats that we could choose from. Service: nothing to compliment or complain about. Price: $11-12 per bowl Food: I got the spicy pork intestine rice noodle with ma La, number 5. I thought that the broth was flavorful and was a good balance overall. The noodles are bigger than I am used to (compared to the other rice noodle place I go to) and they are much chewier. Because of this, I felt that they didn't really absorb the flavor of the soup as much. It comes with a good amount of noodles, I got full after finishing my bowl. I did notice that there was not much soup though, but I am someone who drinks a lot of the soup with my noodles especially here where the noodles didn't have much flavor. I didn't think that it was spicy, a little bit of ma la but nothing too extreme or crazy. You can add your own toppings once you get your bowl including: onions, cilantro, spicy sauce, and radish? - which I thought was pretty cool. I liked the taste of the radish a lot, it added a different flavor everytime I ate it with my noodles. TLDR: Good food for a good price. The worst part is that the meat was slightly cold. The male cashier took my orders that day. It has no ice available for customer. It would be nice to have ice with my water.
