Wendy has such an upbeat charm to her. She is very knowledgeable and such a pleasure. The restaurant is smaller but has a lot of items on the menu. I definitely enjoyed the pineapple cucumber mimosa. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

The food was amazing! And best squeezed orange juice I've ever had. The staff/owners were so kind and service was prompt and friendly. The establishment was small but suitable. Maybe could add something for the ambiance. Overall I'd recommend! Unfortunately I was sick when I got there and couldn't left early and didn't take pictures of the food. This place is a jewel! Stopped on our way out of town for breakfast. Service was great and the food was excellent. I had steak and eggs. To say I was surprised when the steak was put in front me is an understatement. It was a dinner size steak and the quality was top notch!!! The food is usually the best part of coming to Mom's, unless you get a hug from Mom herself. We especially like the veggie omelet with fresh fruit and the fresh-made strawberry lemonade. We typically have good service here, except for one time when we were moved from the counter to a table which somehow confused everyone, and we never got our food. The decor is simple and clean but comfortable. This will continue to be a breakfast staple for us. read more

We came here on a Sunday before a birthday party we were heading to (we forgot to eat breakfast lol) and we were so impressed with the food, service, and overall experience. Everything was so good and high quality without being greasy or dingy like other breakfast spots we have been to. The bacon was everybody's favorite. So delicious! We tried the eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. We also ordered some of the fresh juices and they were also delicious. 10/10 We will be back! read more

This place is AMAZING! We have been trying to come here for the past year and finally made it for Saturday lunch. My husband ordered the Chipotle Bacon burger and I ordered the special Pork Chile Verde. We also added a short stack of pancakes and did not regret it. Everything was 10/10, the burger was one of the best we've had, the Chile Verde was extremely authentic. I lived in Mexico and haven't found a Chile verde quite like this one! I'm excited to go back and try more of their breakfast options. The pancakes tasted fresh and homemade. They put berries on the pancakes with a side of whipped butter. We also had a side of sweet potato fries, I wasn't crazy about the fries but my husband loved them. We had Alexis and Val as our servers and they were wonderful. We also had our cups full the whole time and they had a very friendly and positive attitude. We will for sure be back next week! read more

This is a hole in the wall Mexican-American kinda cute place. I left this place with mixed feelings. Ours was a party of 5 for breakfast and we ordered our drinks first. The watermelon juice came out quick and my friends found it yummy! We ordered two OJs and Man they took longggg! I won't be exaggerating if I said it took almost an hour, like WHAT! On the flip side, it was the best OJ I've ever had, hands down. Now the food, they started us with some chips and beans and they were fresh! We ordered the chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, and I ordered the eggs Benedict. My friend liked the chilaquiles but they absolutely ruined the eggs Benedict! The eggs weren't runny - in fact it was totally cooked and dry. It may have ruined my go-to Benedict breakfast for me: I had to return the plate. Another horrible thing happened- my friend found a rock in her mouth! Thankfully she hadn't bitten down hard so it was a narrow escape but we were pretty horrified by that.! For desserts we had ordered the French toast with strawberry Purdue and it was straight bomb. We also got sides of biscuits and gravy which we all LOVED. The servers were courteous and offered to give us a generous discount on our bill for all the delays and incidents. I'd say it's a hit or miss. They definitely made some things well but majorly lacked on other. But I doubt I'll come back anytime soon. read more

Hanging in Henderson decided to try this spot as I love mom and pop breakfast spots. I like to give places the opportunity to display their breakfast talents. This place succeeded. They had very rustic decor and attentive service from the young polite gentleman. Ordered the BATS breakfast omelet (bacon, avocado and tomato) with feta cheese with breakfast potatoes and rye toast. The flavor of each item was well proportioned. Very fresh. Their homemade salsas also complimented the meal very well. Nice spot to check out when in this area of Henderson. read more

I ordered the Santa Fe Omelet that was Excellent.. The omelet was topped with a superior HOMEMADE Salsa. The HOMEMADE Blue Berry jam was tasty on my sour dough.. This is the cutest mom and pop shop ever. If I am ever in town, I would stop by within a heartbeat. The decor was cute and the customer service was a 10/10. I wish Mom's Kitchen was located in SoCal. I still think about the Eggs Traditional Benedict and the tiny piece of Salmon Benedict that my boyfriend let me eat. He loved the Salmon Benedict. I learned previously from some veteran patrons of Omelet House you need to get those spuds ordered *extra crispy* (and a side of cheese sauce if you're in the mood). I never got my sourdough toast however. My wife opted for the huevos rancheros which is her go-to favorite, and was not disappointed at all. Very delicious. The rest in our group had a great time and enjoyed their food as well. We did have a little trouble getting refills (maybe it was break time) but overall we had a good experience.

Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. I shouldn't have been sexually assaulted while picking up lunch and then left feeling as though nobody in the room cared enough to even ask what happened.

We shared a Steamed Pork Bao Bun to start, and I went with the omurice for my main. The bao was soft and fluffy, and the omurice was exactly the kind of comfort food I was craving. The egg was soft and silky over the rice, and the sauce brought everything together. It was filling without feeling like too much. We also finished with the Matcha Pudding with Red Bean. I liked that the matcha flavor still came through and wasn't overly sweet, and the red bean added a nice contrast. Service was friendly, and the whole meal felt easy and relaxed, which was perfect for catching up before the rest of our BTS weekend. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in Henderson, especially to try more of the menu.

Stopped by Mom's Kitchen for a quick bite and had to try their fresh-squeezed OJ. I've been meaning to check this place out since it's right around the corner from home. The space is great with a massive L-shaped bar that's super inviting. I was stuck deciding between the pork chile verde or the chorizo breakfast plate, but Ms. Wendy insisted the chorizo was top-notch--and she wasn't wrong! Pork chile verde will have to wait until next time. When the rest of my food arrived, I was blown away by the portion size--this was a heefffftyyy meal. And let's not forget about these beans... Wow. So flavorful! I could already tell they'd make an amazing bean and cheese burrito (definitely coming back for that review). The fresh-squeezed OJ, served in a 24oz cup, is perfect for pouring over ice--a refreshing treat, especially with summer still hanging on in October. Ms. Wendy and Lupita were running the show, and I don't know how they managed it, but they were attentive to every single table and seat at the bar, all while answering the phone like pros. Now, about the free chips and beans--those beans are pure heaven. They're made with chorizo and bacon, giving them a rich, delicious flavor. And it gets better: they've got house-made salsa too. I got to try the fresh batches of both green and red salsa--both fantastic. There are two types of beans, but they wouldn't reveal which was which, probs keeping a top secret recipe. My daughter drove across town so we could enjoy this cute little place and have a girls day. When I arrived, I was told that they did not have my reservation, even though I called the restaurant directly, and there was nothing they could do. I was so mad that they did not try to make this right at all. My views on the customer service here changed completely. The best breakfast place in Henderson. The BLT had crispy, seasoned, and perfectly ripe tomatoes, coupled with a fluffy house whipped mayo. Sweet potatoe fries were slightly soft, but the seasoning was 10 out of 10. Do not think you have to order more with the avacado toast. It is more than enough for a filling but light meal. After spending most of the past few days overpaying for everything in and around Las Vegas, I finally found a restaurant that delivers an amazing bang for your buck! Very friendly staff (my waitress Amanda was really on top of things and pleasant), and the portions are really good as well. They have a video poker bar from the old business but it looked pretty dead [EDIT: I did overlook the alcohol options on the menu] The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. Check them out for Mexican breakfast if you find yourself in the area.

(It works!). Layout of floor plan was modern. Service is great! The staff acknowledges you upon arrival. They seat you promptly. Our food order didn't take long to arrive at our table. We chose Pegs due to its convenient location close to the freeway. There was no wait for our table of five just after 12pm on a Saturday. The service was quick and super friendly. One of our friends had just finished a triathlon and we had been at the lake since 6am, so we were all pretty hungry, especially him. The coffee was fresh and delicious and my cup was never empty! The portions are a good size, which suits the prices. I ordered a Denver omelet, which was good. I subbed the hash browns for the "seasoned tots" but would definitely skip as the tots were not seasoned except for maybe just salt. Not worth the upcharge when the hashbrowns tasted just fine. They have unlimited toast with the breakfasts, which is cool and they start you off with just one slice. Our friend ordered the club sandwich which looked really good and I will be excited to try it next time! Enjoy, even on the weekend!

I got the Cadillac on a Dutch bread. Man it was so flavorful, Purfect combo of meat, spread and what ever type of sorcery was done to make this sandwich so delish. While I was there, a very nice gentleman greeted me and suggested I should try it with the teriyaki special sauce. That right there elevated my taste buds to another level. It's safe to say that I'll be coming back!
