9/10 Such a fun and delicious spot! The ice cream was incredible I tried the Chocolate Bear and Ube Kuromi, and while both were amazing, I was slightly more obsessed with the Chocolate Bear. Rich, creamy, and super cute! I also got a taiyaki with vanilla ice cream, and it was fresh, warm, and the perfect combo. Service was fast and super friendly. The staff were so nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It's in a really cute spot right in the middle of the shopping center super easy to find and a great vibe all around. Highly recommend for both the taste and the adorable presentation.
The absolute cutest ice cream cones we've ever seen!!! There's so many options we couldn't just get one! We ordered a Labubu and My Melody both with strawberry ice cream. We later went back and ordered Hello Kitty and a Squid Games Dalgona Cookie. Everything is almost too cute to eat! The lady working was super sweet. We're already talking about we want to get next time!
A cute little place inside the food court of East ridge. They had a lot of options to choose from. You order from a little screen (I'm unsure if you can order traditionally from the staff) and they call out your number. The ice cream was delicious and presentation is so cute. The only thing is to pay attention to what your kids order if they place their own orders on the screen- another parent almost took my ice cream because the workers weren't the loudest in calling out my number other than that, still would recommend buying from here if you can afford to pay for the visuals (it was about $6 with tax for the one speciality ice cream) :)
Cute design of the shop with self service menu. Character ice cream was reasonably priced (6.84 with tax). You can choose the ice cream flavor for character, and the decorations are cute and made of chocolate. Quick service. Would recommend if you want a cute ice cream cone
A cute little sweet treat that's right in between the food court and movie theater in Eastridge. MoMaCaDo is a cozy stand where you can get ice cream, taiyaki, drinks and other snacks! The staff was pretty quiet but had made our order very well- it was pretty cute and tasty! OKAY THE FOOD: * Animal shaped ice cream: My boyfriend had gotten vanilla ice cream in the shape of a penguin, and it came out SO dang cute. * Ube ice cream with taiyaki: They make taiyaki per order- the combination of a hot crispy taiyaki and a perfectly chilled ice cream was SO GOOD. I had to sit down and enjoy it- I'd definitely come back.
Have been wanting to come here for so long!! Always thought it was a standalone store, but come to find out it's in the food court on the 2nd floor of Eastridge Mall! Their stand was cute, and there were so many choices of the character ice cream. There are bobas and other things on the menu, but we went straight for the My Melody and unicorn ice cream for me. What surprised me was that it was so inexpensive- please see photos of the menu.
Absolutely enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I came here with family with the goal of getting cute looking ice cream and taking photos of them. If the ice cream was good, well that's just an added bonus. I got the Kirby shaped ice cream. Although I could've gotten any flavor I wanted, I went with Kirby's default pink which was strawberry. I didn't want to get too cute with Kirby's color and design. And it was absolutely delicious, some of the better strawberry ice cream I've had recently. I would come back here just to take more pictures of other characters and then eat them. My aunts also got taiyaki with their ice cream. But the flavor they got was ube. Look, I know ube is the popular thing these days for some reason but the ube ice cream here tastes absolutely NOTHING like ube. Maybe taro, but not ube. They didn't even give it the over exaggerated purple color to try to fool you. Anyway, it wasn't good. But the taiyaki was good! It was actually hot and freshly made, unlike at other places. So that's good. Everything was great except the ube ice cream.
Too cute!! Plus affordable. I would have thought dessert like this would have costed an arm and leg but I say it was very reasonable. They had a lot of customers when I walked up but no wait was really had. There is a kiosk computer to order on. There are a lot more selections but the ice cream characters are pretty much a must. The ice cream options for the characters are vanilla, chocolate, ube, and strawberry. The decorations that make up the characters is a white chocolate candy. The wait wasn't long and they are located at the food court of the mall across from the movie theaters upstairs. I wish we had a location similar to this in the San Joaquin and Alameda area. We took a staycation to explore since we haven't been to San Jose in years. I will be sharing, showing, and telling all my family and friends I would rate with more stars if I could!! Everything was presentable. They even had extra sprinkles at the pick up area if yourselves wanted to add more cuteness
This is a great place to have dessert while shopping at the mall. It's located at the food court close to the AMC theaters. I ordered a chocolate ice cream in a cup and the flavor was excellent and creamy. There are also animal design ice cream cones you can choose from and prices vary from 5.25 to maybe 6.50. The girls who were working that day were very nice as well. I recommend this place.
Thought it'd be good to get some ice cream while waiting for my friend in Eastridge Mall, and was immediately drawn to the cutesy ambiance of MoMaCaDo. The choices of flavors are a little limited, but considering their specialty seemed to be in cute character-shaped ice cream I didn't mind it too much. I decided to get the Kirby one in ube form, and the service was much quicker than I expected. The ube isn't as sweet as other places, but it was still good. The price was also around $5, which wasn't too bad and probably around the same price as most of the other ice cream places that I've encountered. Overall, it was a delicious treat! I wouldn't mind trying out one of the other specialty ice creams if I happen to end up in the Eastridge food court again.
Cute ice cream cones that were a hit with the kiddos (and me, too). A bit spendy for an everyday cone (close to $6 for a single scoop) but OK for a special treat. Love the decorating station if you want to add a bit more flair to your cone, but it was tricky picking up the sprinkles with tweezers. Guess that's an acquired skill It's a self-order arrangement (order through the kiosk). The staff was friendly at the handoff so you're not completely out of touch with humans. Will come back to try some of the drinks and other cute offerings.
Inside Eastridge Mall at the food court. Line was long but went quick! 2 Ladies who worked there were very kind and friendly, great customer service! It's inside the food court so it's pretty loud. Such a cute little kiosk that you have to take your kids or just a treat for yourself! Loved that they had the Dalgona or Ppopgi from the show Squid Game! $16.99 for 4 of them. So I bought 8 of them! Definitely will return and highly recommended! Yay!
The ice cream here is very standard but also very cute!!!! It's like somi somi but cute basically. The ice cream itself was the perfect amount of sweet and tasted great. The prices are also very standard. The workers here are also very nice as well. This one is located inside Eastridge so very convenient dessert if you are out shopping.

The food was so good. It was so cute and I definitely will be going there again so many people said it was bland so I didn't want to go out first, but it tasted so good they serve ice cream, waffles, and Boba. I got a waffle. It was amazing and the ice cream though. The portions were a little small. The taste made up for it and the waffles are so worth the price. read more

We stopped by Momacado for a quick treat before heading home after some shopping at Oakridge Mall, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. What first caught my eye were the adorable ice cream cones shaped like Pokémon characters. They're seriously cute and clearly take some skill to make. The shop wasn't busy when we arrived, which was perfect since we were just looking for a quick bite. The server was polite and helpful, directing us to the self-order screen to place our order. Everything was simple and straightforward. While the ice cream did take a little time to come out, it's totally understandable considering the amount of detail that goes into shaping the character cones. I also ordered a side of curly fries, and they were honestly just as satisfying as the ice cream. They were made fresh, hot, and perfectly crunchy--exactly how I like them. Between the fun presentation, friendly service, and surprisingly tasty food, Momacado ended up being a great little stop. read more
Randomly dropped into Eastridge mall and I needed a drink so I stopped at Momacado. This was the first time I ordered anything from here so no expectations at all. There wasn't much of a line at that hour and it seemed like people were ordering the ice cream instead. The stand was cute and the cup had a cute paw print on the lid. Watching the staff take time to put faces on each cone was nice, but it looked time consuming and it meant waiting longer for a simple tea drink. I ordered the lychee tea with half sweetness. It was still so sugary as if the usual sweetness would be tooth aching or they made a mistake but pushed out the drink anyway. This was inside the mall so we already walked off and not worth going back to potentially wait a long time for another drink. read more

Calling all Kawaii Gals!! You know, the girls that be the biggest thooters for anything being sold, stamped with a hello kitty sticker on it... yeah those girls, you know who you are. Scrolling through Yelp religiously got me stumbling across this dessert stand MoMaCaDo. The name makes me feel as though I'm a kid trying to learn how to speak or animal sounds. ANYWAYS just look at the pictures as they have a small variety of different dessert, and what caught my attention was the ice creams. This stand is located in the EastRidge food court, keeping the vibes casual. After looking at the menu, i decided on getting the Pompompurin ice cream with chocolate ice cream. The cashier failed to notify me that my dog was going to be the same shade of the ice cream instead of them coving the color in a sort of colored chocolate which caught me off guard. My Pompompurin came to me looking.... Extra tan. After receiving my order my girlie changed her mind and decided not to get a dessert with me. The ice cream date was broken all because Pompompurin decided to go to Hawaii right before my visit. There was nothing special about the ice cream, it's just regular ice cream. So, if they didn't pride themselves upon the cute ice cream characters, you could and should pass. I am deeply sorry and might regret this decision in the future, but i gotta keep it 100 with the Thooters read more
A cute thing...as a food product??? Even better! Once I saw that Momocado had cute character ice creams (that I have NEVER seen elsewhere in California, unless you're counting the ones at Belly Good Crepe SF), I KNEW that I had to go. It was so cute, that I ended up going TWICE on the weeklong trip that I was on in NorCal and I know its going to be a must stop EVERY TIME I go to NorCal now! It's a kiosk located at the Eastridge Mall food court and you can't miss it with how cute it is! Cute dog and cat decorations all around. If you're not in the mood for their animal/character ice cream, they also have taiyaki, soft serve ice cream, and boba drinks here too! Ordering is simply done through their touch screen tablet. For the animal ice creams you can choose the character/animal decoration and the flavor of the ice cream. Just know that the flavor won't necessarily match your character's canon color if you're okay with, let's say, a vanilla PomPomPurin or something. I got the: 1) Lolita Kuromi ice cream: -I got this in ube flavor to match her purple color. 2) Chef Kirby ice cream: -I got this in strawberry flavor to match his pink color. All the decorations on your ice cream are made from white chocolate and are cute and detailed too. Doesn't look bootlegged at all and if you told me you got this off the street in an Asian country and not in a random mall in San Jose, I would believe you 100%. The ice cream isn't too sweet nor is it too icy and they fill all the way to the bottom of the cone. You also have the option to use their sprinkles decoration self-serve bar after you get your order and add extra pearls, gems, stars, etc. to make your ice cream even cuter! Even the wrapping on the ice cream cone and the little cover to make sure it doesn't melt everywhere are cute too! They do not skimp out on the cuteness and that's already a 5 stars from me. I can't wait to see if they add more flavors in the future since I think they only have ube/taro, strawberry, vanilla, and lemon and to see if they are going to add more characters too! When I visited they no longer had Lina Bell and Stella Lou (Duffy and Friends characters from the Disney Asia parks), so I was a bit sad about that. Hopefully they make a comeback and hopefully we can see more cute characters (would love to see Hangyodon, Tuxedo Sam, some San-X characters - Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi, Chiikawa, or even more Poke'mon! read more
It's been a long while since I had been to MoMaCaDo. I'm so surprised that their bulldog taiyaki is no longer on the menu. Did it ever co e I to fruition? On the other hand, they did expand their menu by adding other variations to their character ice cream. I got the wizard and chef kirby this time! SO CUTE! They also added some shakes to their menu. It wasn't cute as the pictures. They were good, but I'd probably get my drink somewhere else. They've also added more new sprinkles for you to decorate your ice cream. read more
The good: I got a combination which was a soft serve ice cream in a cup with 2 Japanese fish-shaped pastries (takoyaki). You could choose the filling for the pastries. I chose custard and Nutella. For the soft serve I chose mixed (matcha and milk tea). This place is located in the food court so there's plenty of seating. It's across from the movie theater. The thing I loved most about this place was how you could decorate your own soft serve afterward and they had seasonal decor items like a pumpkin and bat toothpick. You could add your own sprinkles and it was all super kawaii (cute). The ice cream texture was great. The texture of the mochi in the pastry was great. It was chewy on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. I liked how they were freshly made in front of you. They also make super cute character ice creams on cones but I didn't try this. The bad: The takoyaki had very little filling inside so you couldn't taste much of it. I wish there was more of the outer crust and a little bit less of the mochi pastry as well. The sprinkles were hard to place because they mostly rolled off of the ice cream. The ice cream flavor wasn't deep/strong enough. I wish there was more of a matcha flavor and I wish the milk tea flavor didn't taste so much like the cheap Lollicup-style powders you find online in bulk from China. This place is more cute and photo-worthy than it is exceptional in taste. The interesting: I think the name is mom mixed with avocado? read more
Sooooo cute & the ice cream is super creamy but refreshing at the same time. I wasn't expecting the ice cream to actually be good - since usually when something is so cute, chances are the taste is mediocre, but the strawberry flavor is delicious! Be careful when you eat it though because it does tip as it's only a half scoop on top for the dome. Service was... None? There was not much conversation was exchanged other than the girl pointing me to the screen to place my order. Overall I can see this place having a line during the summer. read more

It is so good, what they put on the ice cream taste like white chocolate. I took my nieces and nephew here. They had a really fun time enjoying the ice cream and the taiyakis. We got the mango and strawberry ice creams. The characters are just super fun to look at. They also have a decorating case where you can add sprinkles and other add ons. The only thing is that the wait can be long.. I think we waited about 20~ min when there wasn't that many people but assembling it took awhile read more
Sooo cute! My order was served was surprisingly fast considering each item is made to order. They have a limited amount of flavors: ube, mango, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. The price for the character ice cream is about $6-7, which is worth it for how cute it was. The ice cream was very soft and airy, which is not my preference. I like my ice cream more firm and dense (if that makes sense). The sugar cone was actually pretty delicious and crunchy! This is definitely more of a place for aesthetics and posting on social media. If you're looking for a cute treat to make your day, this is where to go. But if you're looking for some tasty, quality ice cream, I would go to a different ice cream shop. read more
What a cute concept for a dessert. Our little one loved it as not only did it look cute, but she enjoyed the actual ice cream. They are located in a kiosk in the middle of the mall eatery. Ordering is done through a kiosk. What was odd was that the prices on screens mounted on the walls didn't match the kiosk prices. Just be advised that the prices for the character ice creams vary based on the complexity of the character. The service is excellent as there were only two employees filling orders at a rapid pace and did it with a smile. We came before closing so the line was non existent. We will definitely be back as the prices are reasonable and the product was great. read more

Adorable animal ice cream cones however, I don't think it's worth 7 bucks. I believe there are other options aside from the cones, which I did not try today. I chose the strawberry ice cream for my cone and the My Melody design. The cone comes with just one small scoop of ice cream and the designs are made of white chocolate, which was super sweet. The ice cream itself was alright, it tastes very similar to Dreyer's strawberry ice cream. There is a self-serve kiosk to order from. Once your order is ready, there is a topping station with sprinkles/wafers/decor sticks. Make sure not to take the stand with you to your seat, which I almost did at my seat next to the stand. I genuinely thought we return it after finishing since there's no paper wrapping on the cone; also no one told me to leave it there. Nonetheless, the cones are definitely very cute but I think it would've been more worth it if we got 2 scoops. Unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

This is the perfect snack before or after the movies because it's right across it. MoMaCaDo is located in the food court. This is THE cutest ice cream I've ever had and so much fun because you can decorate it too. I got the ube flavor and my friend got the strawberry flavor. My ube ice cream was good and not icy like some reviews have said, but it was on the verge of melting when I started decorating.:( My friend's strawberry ice cream did taste similar to Dreyer's ice cream. I like to eat the ice cream with the cone but find it hard to do because for one, the ice cream is above the cone and two, the ice cream is starting to melt. The animal decorations on the ice cream are all edible! The My Melody ears and the Kirby ears and star taste like white chocolate candy melts and was quite tasty. One ice cream scoop size may be small for some but it was a good portion for me and my friend. I recommend this place, especially for kids since they will enjoy it and for those who want to post for the gram. read more
Momacado grabbed our attention because of their specialty animal themed ice creams. They also made a special accommodation to me and served my animal ice cream in a cup because I cannot eat wheat. I came almost right after opening so there weren't many flavors and options available/ready yet. Thankfully, the one flavor I like most was available, and they had that. I ordered the My Melody shaped ice cream as ube, and the ice cream texture was soft and fluffy while the flavor was prominent. The character decorations are white chocolate. It was a little sweet for me, so it was a good thing that my character barely had any decorations compared to the others. Service was on point and the taste was fire. read more
The cute factor of this place was what captured my attention, the characters sell for sure. This is definitely more a gimmicky factor than taste, but I would get again for a picture (yes, I'm a sucker for cute foods). The flavors of ice cream are very simplistic, but good enough as I was mostly here for the characters (animal ice cream). I originally saw a picture of this place on a Bay Area eats group on FB. It was something that appealed to me looks wise. When at Eastridge, it was a very warm day that it was even kind of warm inside the mall; ice cream was a very fitting treat after walking around a bit. There's a self- order kiosk for you to take you pick on what you want. They're still in a soft-opening phase as the bulldog waffle/croissant waffle wasn't available. You don't really have an interaction with the staff, but they work quickly and quietly to get the orders out. There's a self decorating station for you to add some sprinkles and cookies, cute little tongs that make it easy to grab individual sprinkles. For the animal ice cream, there were 4 flavors to pick from (vanilla, ube, strawberry and mango). I chose vanilla with the seal as the little cheeks looked adorable. Flavoring of the ice cream was light and very icy - the vanilla looked like mango at first, but after a few bites... I got the light hint of vanilla flavor. It isn't exactly good ice cream, but enough to cool down in the heat. Bf chose mango ice cream in a cup, decent mango flavor that's mildly sweet. Overall, the ice cream isn't anything too special, just cute for a picture. Final Thoughts: I'd be back for more pictures of cute animal cones and maybe to try a taiyaki... but that's about it. read more

I saw this place on tik tok and wanted to try it because of the cute icecream! I got mango flavored pikachu and my man got a ube flavored Kirby. I think the overall ice cream flavors are mid. They just taste like any generic ice cream so I think this place is more for the aesthetic! There are various characters that you can get. This place is right outside the movie theater inside Eastridge. The service here is really fast. The ice cream were made fairly quickly and set on the side. I probably would not come here again but it was a nice first experience for cute icecream. :) read more

Hongdan was so nice she really knows how to serve her customers with a smile on her face. The food was so delicious. We got a waffle that was served hot freshly made with strawberry ice cream. It was such a cute dessert. We loved it, and they also gave us little strawberry pretzel sticks. It was so good. I can't wait to come back again again. read more
Located in the malls food court, behind tea villa. Order: self order through screen at counter. They have cuteee ice cream!! And other desserts. I only went for the cute ice cream this time. You pick your ice cream and the character that you want. Price is reasonable. The characters were def cute, but the ice cream is just regular ice cream. It's a nice place to go to if you want cute ice cream on a hot day. Service was friendly. read more
MoMaCaDo at Eastridge food court. Kuromi ice cream for $5.75+tax, in order to make the Kuromi face, the ice cream is only half of the scoop. anyway, the ube ice cream is just right in taste and sweetness, the cone is crispy. we took lot of selfie. LOL. read more
