Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! We were driving through Waldorf on our way to NC and love to that we found this gem of a restaurant on Yelp!! Two of us are gluten free and dairy free, so finding food out can sometimes be difficult. Not tonight! When I explained our dietary restrictions, they told me that they could make the falafel GF because they made it to order. It was hands down the BEST falafel that I have ever had! We got the #7 chicken and then a vivacious, funny chef helped us determine what toppings to get with it - the chickpea curry is a MUST! You can choose to have it mild or spicy - we got one of each - and we were both delighted! Our children got a shawarma wrap (that was beautiful) and a burger with fries (phenomenally seasoned!) - they both loved their food! I cannot say enough about the food and the friendly WOW service that we received! We got our food to go, but had we not had our dog with us, we would have been just as happy to eat in! A note on the restrooms - very clean - as was the whole restaurant. Five stars is not a high enough rating! If you live in the area or are driving through - this is a MUST for lunch, dinner - or even an afternoon snack (seriously the falafels are to die for!) I had a friend visiting from out of town who's vegan there wasn't too many options for her so we decided to go to Momi's! It was my husband's first time as well. We enjoyed everything! The food was fresh, well seasoned and generous portions. The owner was so friendly and made sure we had the right flavors. I cannot sing their praises enough. My five your old got chicken tenders. They were hand made and breaded tenders. Usually most fast casual restaurants just outsource these items. Not Momi's. We will definitely be back again! Stopped here to check out the newly opened Momi's. It has a large indoor seating area and reminded me of a Mediterranean chipotle. I ordered the shawarma and my wife had the falafel wrap. They had a lot of fillings to choose from to add to your wrap or sandwich and I was honestly a little overwhelmed. So I asked the man making the sandwich what he suggests and he took off with loads of suggestions and he seemed extremely happy and pleased to help me. We had a great experience with the staff, very helpful and friendly. Everything was great. Flavors were good, everything was fresh. They made the falafel on the spot. My husband and I had a delicious lunch in a peaceful, relaxing environment.
