Exceptional service and dedication inspite of delivery problems. This is when you know they care for their customers. I ordered for a friend delivery within California and ordered some for me too here in Florida. My friends was amazed how all the different loafs and cookies can be that delicious. For my end , I have to order because of the 5* review and have to try it myself. We did have delivery problems and they even have to spent more for overnight but it never arrived. The owners were awesome and send me what I ordered and more. All of them were amazingly freshly prepared. Loved the papaya pineapple moist , just the right sweetness. Mom's Homemade Bread is amazing! I was not quite sure what I was ordering and the pick up process so I called. Tina was awesome to chat with. She gave me amazing descriptions of what I was ordering and I felt like she really cared about my order. Tina was almost like my personal baked goods consultant. The Chocolate Haupia pies are not your regular pies, Tina uses the thick pie tins so you get an awesome combo of chocolate and haupia. We also went with macadamia nuts and it provided a nice crunch throughout the pie. When I brought it home we were hooked. Bought more for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! We also ordered banana bread with chocolate chips. Yes. I said with chocolate chips. It was so delicious. Pro tip: warm up before eating Loved the melted chocolate chips. We also had chocolate chip cookies with nuts and peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips. The baked goods we have had so far has been amazing. Everything feels like it was made with love. I fear I have found a new addiction that's close to both work and home :D I ordered the ube crinkle cookies and the guava cookies for my baby shower, as well as some of the tropical samples for prizes for the games. Tina. You continue to amaze us! Your lemon toffee crunch cake was devoured by the entire family. Usually, although we are a pretty good size family, a typical 8 inch cake from anywhere else leaves us with usually 1/2 a cake worth of leftovers. Several of the kids are not cake people and my family tends be conscientious about eating too many sweets. However, even the non-cake eaters asked for seconds and one went back for thirds. He would have wanted a fourth slice but there wasn't any left. My mom usually complains about things being overly sweet or fattening but she went out of her way to specifically thank me for your cake. She loved it. Moreover my nephew who has nut allergies tends to be worried about eating any cake because he is worried about having a reaction. Pleasanton has bland food and that's what they should be known for. Don't expect too much. So I tried a home bakery out and ordered a ton of items based on the reviews alone. I bought Cookies, banana bread, and pies. I can honestly say that I wouldn't order again. I have had the most delicious banana bread when I visit Hawaii so I was beyond excited to try this. Maybe my expectations were too high based on all the raving reviews lol. It just wasn't good. When I think of Pleasanton or Tri-Valley I think of people who complain that their food is too spicy or that there's too much seasoning on a dish...you know bland food for bland people and maybe they are catering to their community. The owner and baker, Tina, was so pleasant to work with. I ordered a few items for my family members for Christmas. I ordered the (2) banana espresso bread, (1) lemon bread with lilikoi filling and a dozen Kahlua Krinkles cookies. We communicated by text and I arranged to pick up the goodies. I told Tina anytime on the 24th would be fine for me to pickup. I picked them up in the afternoon and ripped open the cookies because they were calling me and my husband. Crispy outside, chewy on the inside... delicious all around!! My family members told me they enjoyed their respective breads and the cookies... I shared some cookies with them and wished I hadn't.
