However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

This visit I ordered Bart's Bag, which consists of a healthy portion of roasted turkey, brie, lettuce, tomato and red onion, all on a housemade baguette. Super yummy! Service was super fast and friendly, at all levels: ordering, delivering food to my table, even when requesting a to-go container for the half of the sandwich I couldn't finish. Good food and good service, even when during the busy lunch rush? Yup. You know I'll be back!

Terrible bakery . The owner is a grouch and is stingy . Everything from his pastries to his hat/shirts are way over priced . $25 for a shirt and $20 for a hat . All his pastries sit in the show case for weeks and charges a lot for them . $5 for each pastry . The bread isnt fresh and sits in the freezer . The product is not up to par . It isn't fresh even tho he claims its fresh and made with oragnic products . He uses regular ingredients . He doesnt use anything special . He is really stingy and just wants to jew you out of your money . He doesnt care about customers . The bakery is dirty with crumbs everywhere . His employees cant speak english and are very hard to understand . He charges for coffee refils even tho the coffee sucks . Its old and the milk is rotten most of the time. What bugs me the most is his attitude . He is a con artist . He doesn't know anything about customet service . All the lunch products like sandwhiches and crossaints are microwaved . I needed a cake fast, and specifically a simple white cake with extra buttercream icing. I tried Nadines, but the girl gave me so much hassle about how I needed to pick a filling (I don't want), and the extra icing wouldn't work (not true, I've gotten it before.), I finally told her we were not communicating and got off the phone. I called Mona's and within 3 minutes had the cake ordered, same day, extra icing NO PROBLEM!!!! THAT IS TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not having a person try to sell me what is convenient for them was a wonderful experience! THANK YOU MONA'S!!!!! There was a great selection of baked goods including assorted croissants, muffins, cookies, kolaches, and more. We ordered the ham and cheese quiche, which they heated up and tasted great. The orange cranberry loaf was so delicious with a bright citrusy flavor and big cranberry bits. The icing was slightly on the sweet side, but so addicting. I also ordered a hot matcha latte and you can add flavors like lavender or vanilla for an additional charge. They also offer several alternative milk options. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. There is outdoor seating with small tables and misters to stay cool. The inside has a good amount of space and A/C is on spot. There is also a bar with a good number of seats available. This might be first come first served but I am not totally sure. The food is a really good spread of options. Pancakes, german pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict(s) monte cristo, omelets, croque madame, country chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, chilaquiles con pollo, avocado toast, savory crepe, and even a breakfast pizza. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. Come check this place out and make sure if you don't want to wait you call in advance when driving there and ask to get on their "wait list" you may not be able to get a reservation but you can do this. I would recommend getting milk or some coffee to go with it because it really is a nice sweet treat. But need something to wash it down. The service is very sweet. The food was good, and I enjoyed a chat with the owner. This is a small place, but there are a few tables if you want to eat inside the shop, and more in the mall just outside.
