Once again a very nice meal. We had some guests join us who had not been there before and they really enjoyed the meal and ambiance. The seafood linguine was great, fresh seafood and pasta. If you want some great italian food put Mondello on the top of your list!

Fettuccine pasta with meatballs, leeks, artichokes. Yum!

We are regulars at Mondello. The owner is an amazing, authentic person. The food is always super delicious and light. The prices are reasonable. Perfect, cosy neighborhood restaurant for any occasion.

We were greeted like family once again! We frequent Mondellos at least once a year and it was so nice once again! The owner sent in a special order for this seafood pasta which had huge clams, muscles, shrimp and octopus. It was amazing and customized! My baby's God mother had the Squid ink spaghetti. Both had a very fresh flavorful taste. Ambiance was on point! I also used the groupon!

Mondello is an italian favorite! Every dish is delicious and authentic, and the ambience is quiet but peaceful on Sunday evenings. Definitely recommend if you're in the Magnolia neighborhood.

Our favorite Italian spot on the west side. Family run, complimentary bread and delicious pasta with rotating specials. My favorites: Gorgonzola gnocchi (they need to bring it back on the main menu), fettuccine w/sausage or meatballs, ravioli with lemon cream sauce, the bolognese and more. The only con I have is that they tend to rush us through our meal, which is not the Italian way - we love to really enjoy our dinners out. They did a great Valentine's Day special - I am still thinking about the strawberry tiramisu. Some of our favorite nights here have been when they have live music

Came for my birthday dinner. The waitstaff was so rude that it was uncomfortable. They seemed annoyed the moment we walked in.

Not only to experience the food, but the DREAMY outdoor space I had seen all over social media. Service was excellent from start to finish. We managed to get an outdoor seat (yay!) and the vibes were immaculate from the start. It definitely gives off more romantic/date night vibes, but it was also fun to experience with some ladies from my team. Perfect for a girl's night! Obsessed with the string lights, the fountain, and the overall atmosphere. You somehow don't even realize you're in the middle of Seattle when you're here. The menu has so many options which made it so hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Fettucini ai Fungh - fresh fettuccini pasta with wild mushrooms served in a light cream sauce topped with truffle oil, and I also added chicken. When I say this is probably my FAVORITE pasta I've had in Seattle, I'm not kidding... I almost cleared my plate which is hard for me as my eyes are always bigger than my stomach, but I made it happen! The cream sauce was rich but not too heavy, and the truffle oil was prominent without being crazy overpowering. 10/10 absolutely no notes. Hands down would have trouble ordering something else when I visit again. Without a doubt, I will be returning in the future for a date night!

Meg and her team created one of the finest dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. From her greeting to Lorenzo's attentive and knowledgable service, through the kitchen's meticulous detail to our party's dietary restrictions, this was a 5+ star rating. The ambience is charming, the food was incredibly delicious and beautifully prepared and plated. Some may consider the Wolf pricey, but if you have no qualms paying for high quality food and service, Wolf is absolutely worth the money. Personally, we have no issue paying for exceptional dining experiences. We DO however balk at paying premium prices for mediocre food. This is most definitley not in the latter category. If life finds us back in the Seattle area in the future, one of the first things we will do is book a table at The Wolf. Well done all. Thank you.

Coming from New York City, when I hear family style I'm picturing big shareable plates for the table to be going back for seconds (maybe even THIRDS). The dishes here were quite small and very pricey, which made it hard for them to function as true family-style portions. That said, the food itself was excellent, very unique and the service was genuinely wonderful. The staff were attentive, warm, and made the whole evening feel really welcoming. I can't say enough about the staff, just SO lovely. So if you go in expecting beautifully prepared small plates rather than true family-style dining, you'll probably have a great time. Just adjust expectations on the portion sizes!

Nestled in the historic Belltown neighborhood, it perfectly blends classic Italian flavors with cozy rustic charm. The service throughout the night was attentive, welcoming, and never overbearing. I would definitely put this as your next date night spot. Normally I save an espresso martini for the end of the meal, but their Vanilla Bourbon Espresso Martini completely changed my plans. I'd never had bourbon in an espresso martini before, and honestly, I may never go back to vodka again. It wasn't overly sweet and had just the right amount of bourbon flavor to complement the vanilla notes without overpowering the drink. The complimentary bread was a great touch, but the real standout was the garlic, olive oil, and basil dipping sauce. It was unapologetically garlic-forward, which is exactly how bread service should be in my opinion. Somewhere an Italian grandmother nodded in approval. For mains, we ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and the Gnocchi Pepirosso. The pizza was excellent and absolutely better than any standard takeout chain pizza. Perfectly sauced, beautifully baked, and finished with just enough spice to elevate it. That said, the gnocchi completely stole the show for me. As someone who considers himself a bit of a gnocchi connoisseur, these were perfect little pillows of happiness swimming in an incredible sauce with Italian sausage. Honestly, I got hungry all over again just writing this review. La Vita E Bella feels like the kind of neighborhood restaurant you end up becoming a regular at without even meaning to.

We arrived, my friend chose this restaurant, apparently she comes here often. We came here on the Sunday before the FIFA stuff started with a lot of folks in town! We get seated, they bring bread and the dipping sauce. And we want more but they ran out of bread. Were there around 7:30p, so not particularly late...but how do you run out of bread? Anyhow, we ordered the spinach salad that we shared and my friend ordered Spaghetti al Porro and I ordered the mushroom ravioli...the salad was great. So the spaghetti arrives it looks/tastes amazing....the waitress brings me mushroom crepes...I didn't order that. So she takes the order to the table next to us. While waiting, we overhear that the same waitress brought to the wrong meal to the table on the other side of us. She brings my ravioli finally and it was so watery...I couldn't eat it. So I asked for the same dish my friend had. By this time I am pretty much done... I don't know if the waitress was having an off day or if that is her normal state....which I have a tendency to believe...some people are not meant to be waitresses. By now I am just ready to go....put my food in a box and let me out of here. I don't know if I will go back there...but I hope if I do....that I have it in me to be open to a better experience. The food at the end....was great....it was the process of getting there, that took me for a loop!

We were about a month out from the date we made our reservation - expect similar, though do check in for cancellations, and know that the bar does full menu service as well. Greeters and waitstaff were kind and complete the welcoming vibe through the whole service. Start with some specialty cocktails, or a selection from a decent wine list, and have at the menu. Indicate your interests to the waitstaff and they will help you program your meal service. Family-style works great here and the 4 of us split focaccia, charcuterie and a kale salad, split two pastas for primi, two entrees for secondi, and two deserts. The focaccia was studded with dark cherries and was a nice change. The kale salad was a huge hit, with ceasar-like dressing and almost a granola of seeds and fried capers tossed in. The summer cavatelli special was like a walk through a garden, very fresh and light. The tagliatelle is iconic, for good reason. We did a double-cut bone-in rib-eye that was prepared, paraded thru the dining room, and then carved for sharing. The king salmon was very fresh, but none of us were a fan of the braised bitter greens and leeks that accompanied it - skip this in favor of king elsewhere. As for desert - while the chocolate torte and tiramisu had great flavor, we all agreed the preoccupation with cocoa nibs was distracting to the mouthfeel of both dishes. If I had it to do over, I'd probably do more small plates and wrapping up with pasta and doing desert elsewhere. BUT gorgeous experience, on a gorgeous summer evening and still very glad we went!
