Wendell acknowledged the weird sound and even brought over a service tech to confirm the sound. Wendell called me nearly every day with updates on the progress and I was able to pick up the truck earlier than the estimate. I scheduled an oil change for 11 AM, and I had a coupon for $49.00. Johnathan informed me that the coupon was for a different type of synthetic oil blend and could not be applied. The oil change would cost $90.00 for my Jeep. I felt at the time bait and switch had occurred. Johnathan told me he would apply a discount and throw in a tire rotation for free. My final bill was $56.00, and I was out of there in an hour. Thanks, Jonathan! A simple thing the service department can do to earn 5 stars is to take a basic customer service class, I stood around for over 10 mins waiting to be helped and I was staring at 4 staff in their stations. I had to ask where do I check-in and what is the process. A simple, hello sir, we will be right with you would have been nice. Instead, when I asked, the reply was "Sir we are busy right now and we are short-staffed, please be patient." There were no other customers in the room, and I will be honest, I almost left. After having a bad experience at knight jeep in Claremont we decided to come to Monrovia jeep for servicing our jeep. Fred was great! He really helped us out and figured out what the problem was in our jeep. When we originally took it to Claremont, they told us our extended warranty only works at the original place of purchase..... and they also sent us to an outside mechanic to fix our problem. So ridiculous! Fred didn't hesitate to help us and our jeep was fixed under the warranty plus he found other problems that were also covered under warranty! Bad practice service dealership. Added a star because the other workers I encountered at least ~appeared~ friendly. So luckily, I came in on a slower day & decent hour. Was able to chat to a service representative really quick, Isaac. Unluckily, I am a young adult female who they tried to take advantage of. I explained how I had been hit by a ginormous piece of plastic while driving on the freeway that got wrapped around my driveshaft. Without even looking under my car, **at the problem!**, they quoted me an outrageous estimate. Having to "replace the whole piece". Thankfully, myself and a mechanic friend had removed the majority of the plastic that we could, without having the proper tools. Also had researched the potential replacement parts so I had an idea of cost (a 1/3rd of their price) (I knew labored would've been the most pricey part) Regardless, I left disappointed at how they handled the situation and rattled in fear that this simple fix would cost an insane amount ($2200+) and had to shop around for other quotes. I happened to try an incredible place nearby that lifted my car up, took the excess plastic out & I was on my way within 30 minutes. They didn't even charge me because it was such a quick fix!! I've gone in twice now and both times got terrible responses and it was extremely hard to speak with anyone about my car. Voicemails go unreturned, techs go on vacation without passing on cases to someone else, and my car has now been there for 4 full days and I can't get ahold of anyone to tell me what is going on or what work it needs. They give you a number to text with any questions but it seems nobody monitors that. Definitely go somewhere else if you need service! read more

My sister, Ana and I both had a very pleasant experience with the staff associates at Dodge Jeep Dealership of Monrovia. It started with several days and many calls to the Dodge Jeep dealership, where my sister and I first spoke with sales associate, Jonathan, we had many questions and he was extremely patient with us. He was very focused on getting the exact car that my sister had her heart set on. So, on the 5th of December my sister and I drove to the dealership, where we were kindly greeted by Jonathan. I'd like to point out that the dealership was very clean inside and out. The entire staff of associates were very friendly, there was absolutely no pressure selling with us. My sister was allowed to take as much time as needed to decide on her choice of cars. Terry is one of the managers who worked with us, he was kind, professional, personable and very knowledgeable, regarding the Dodge Jeep brand, which was more than appreciated. I am very much aware that some car salesmen can push a little too hard and try to pressure a buyer to pick anything. However, that was not our experience. Terry and Jonathan went out of their way to make us comfortable and to give my sister a positive purchasing experience. Prior to us leaving, Jonathan had the car washed and filled it with gas, a very nice touch. I would also like to mention that, Ed, Gilbert and Ervin stood out as being very pleasant and friendly. The one disappointment was that the car wasn't there, on the lot when they said it would be and we had to wait for some time for it to be delivered. On July 18, 2020 at around 11am, I took my 2019 Jeep Wrangler into the dealer for scheduled maintenance & a transmission pan leak. The service advisor, Margaret, told me they would check my transmission pan & if indeed there was a leak, they would replace the transmission pan, filter & gasket. She also advised me about a recall that they would take care of. All in all, I was expecting all that to be changed out plus my oil change. When asked if the vehicle would be ready the same day, she said she'd call & let me know. It was almost 2pm & I hadn't heard from them so I called the dealer. I was told that the Jeep would have to stay at the dealer because the parts weren't available & weren't coming in until Tuesday, the 21st. I asked Margaret if I could pick up the Jeep & take it back on Tuesday, because I needed the Jeep to go to work & she said she wasn't sure if I could do that & would check with her manager after he came back from lunch. She called me at almost 3pm & said that per her manager, I couldn't pick up the Jeep because it was deemed "unsafe" to drive. I asked about a rental & she said they didn't have rentals on the weekends & that I would have to go in on Monday morning to get a rental. My first thought was "do people's cars not break down on weekends? do people not need rental cars on the weekends?" I mean, what the heck?! Fast forward to Tuesday, the 21st, I call Margaret but speak to John, the service manager, who says my Jeep is ready to be picked up. My bf goes to pick up the Jeep only to find that they did the oil change & only changed the gasket on the pan. When asked if they got to the recall, Margaret said that because I kept rushing them to get my car back, they didn't take care of the recall. When I got off work & heard the news, I was LIVID! She had told me the car would be ready Tuesday, including all that needed to be done, and now I was rushing them?! It was completely unacceptable. That was my first AND last time at this dealer. I rounded up to 2 stars. The Service Department did not do a good job today. When I dropped off the vehicle for oil and filter change, the Service Writer did not explain anything (other than see you later). Skip forward to when I gave the Service Writer my credit card and signed-off the paperwork. Right after that he checked progress and said that there was some oil spillage (from the oil change) and they were cleaning it up. An hour later, my Service Writer wasn't around so I had another one check on the progress. He said they were cleaning the engine. A half hour after that our original Service Writer noticed we were still there and went to check on things (but didn't come back and talk to me). About 15 minutes after that a Tech pulled up in our vehicle and explained that the original Tech that started the service did not secure the cap so, when the vehicle was started, oil sprayed everywhere. I'm really unhappy with the Service Writer not communicating with us. I think that the Tech that pulled up in the vehicle at the end could do a better job with customers. Tomorrow I'm taking the vehicle to the trusted dealership (a long distance from us) where it was purchased to have them re-do the oil change and inspect everything. Car was brought in for service and an estimate was provided for the service. The dealer was given permission to do the job based upon the estimate. Dealer came back with a updated estimate of upwards of a $500 increase. When told to stop the job as the original estimate was far below the second estimate, was told the car was already being worked on. Told the service personnel not to do the job, due to the increase in price. Was told copier was not working properly and could not provide original estimate. This is a lie!! Dealer was told to put the car back to the original condition. Car picked up. Very poor business practice. Beware when taking your vehicle here for repair. I GOT JEEP GLADIATOR of my DREAMS. After a horrible (and enlightening) experience with Envision CDJR, I decided to see what Sierra CDJR of Monrovia had in stock. When I walked into the showroom, I was casually greeted by a young Salesman named Cesar. I explained what had happened to me previously at Envision CDJR, gave him an ideal price that worked for me and the search was on. It was Just my luck that a beautiful certified 2021 Gladiator Sport S that was low on miles and a lease return had just been put out onto their new "Used" sister lot nearby. Cesar then grabbed a loaner Wrangler, me and my husband piled in and proceeded to drive over. Upon arrival I could not believe my eyes. This Gladiator was in absolutely pristine condition and everything I had hoped for and more. Even better it was listed at a price that was within my budget. Right then and there I said I'LL TAKE IT. We then went back to the dealership and proceeded to do the paperwork. I was introduced to Gilbert the Manager, who was equally as nice and professional as Cesar and made sure the entire process flowed smoothly. There was no trickery and surprises and the price was as listed on the sticker. They happily accepted that I had my own financing and prepared an Option's contract accordingly. They play a game of tag blaming each other, the rain, and everything they can think of instead of actually working on your vehicle. Had car inspected for a coolant leak, they identified the reservoir as the issue. We waited 3 months for the part because of some shortage. When the part finally came in we took it in. 210$ to install a 30$ part. We'd like to keep it under warranty so we agreed. We got a call later saying it was the radiator, and they wanted to charge almost 2000$!!!! We said no and wanted the car back. Getting back they charged us 210$ and didn't even at least replace the part we ordered. Now it's for "diagnosis". They tried to negotiate with financing but why would I trust these crooks. Pay 1800$ for another "Diagnosis". No thank you. read more
