First time having their BLT and loved! The addition of goat cheese and the basil aioli really elevates the simpleness of this sandwich. Love their salads as well. $30 for a salad is a bit steep though. This is once you add protein but it's still. Portion size is quite big so there's that.

Tasty salads and sandwiches. Everything seems fresh and well prepared. We tried the tostada salad, with the sauce on the side that was a delight (my personal preference as a gastroenterologist would be to get more beans into these salads but might just be a mean thing. I'm gonna be pushing for more of this sort of thing this year). The rooster sandwich had a quality of chicken that I was not expecting. Juicy and well season. Lastly, the tater tots were delicious. Perfectly crispy and fried on the outside, without being greasy. Terrific service and a nice addition to this adorable little Neighborhood. Although it's not cheap, it's certainly not more expensive than other things in the area and the food and service easily warrant the price in my opinion. Will definitely come back.

Great sandwiches with so many different options and flavor profiles. The vibes are high and the entire place is clean and fun. They were pretty quick and the staff was very nice. If you are in the area stop bye for a perfect lunch that will have you more than just satisfied.

Ordered online and ran into garb food. Loved their tator tots and the aoli sauce. The turkey pesto and feta was a wonderful sandwich as were the s'mores rice crispy treats!

I got their truffle sandwich with some fries and omg I've never had a sandwich that tasted so truffle-y in the best way. I absolutely would get it again and the foccaccia it's served on it SO good. I also highly recommend the upstairs seating since you get a sense of privacy with a view and comfortable vibes. The service is also pretty fast and friendly.

The service was simple, you just order in front and then come back to pick it up. The food was delicious, they give you very little dressing though which kinda sucks. The sad part is that the salad costs 19$ which takes away the niceness of it.

Wow. Blue Barn makes salad so enticing and delicious that I enjoy eating salad! Woo hooo The service is fast and efficient! Nice healthy vibe here! I love my tea leaf salad with grilled king Salmon! Quality is amazing. And yes, focaccia bread is yummy! Thank you so much. Enjoy!

The Casbah. $30 with added chicken.

I really miss Pluto's, so I can give this place stars because their foccacia is probably from Village Bakery, but other than that, I don't think their salads are worth the price. Most start at a base price of $17, and if you want to add protein, that adds an extra $7. With tax and tip my salad came out to be $30. There was no way I would be able to justify buying a $30 salad in the future. I got the "Casbah" and it took me a while to find any beets, and I'm not even sure if I remembered eating any pistachios. The salads are not worth it here.

There was a BOGO free salad deal on Uber Eats, so I finally decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, and it was delicious! I enjoyed all the different textures of the ingredients, and I was pretty full after finishing the entire salad. This salad was obviously a great deal because it was essentially 50% off. I'm not sure it's worth ordering regularly at full price though, especially because the ratio of chicken to greens wasn't so great. My partner got a sandwich and fries. The fries were surprisingly great - crispy and flavorful! But the bread used for the sandwich was low quality and disappointing. I don't recommend ordering a sandwich here. Get a salad instead.

Are Blue Barn salads expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? 1000%! We placed an online order at this Blue Barn location. The website was user-friendly and making modifications was easy. Our order was ready for pick-up 10 minutes after placing it. Food: - Thai Chicken Salad (sub tofu for chicken): Though pricey at $25, the quantity and quality make it worth it. The portion is huge, easily providing 2-3 meals. The vegetables were fresh, the wontons added a crunchy touch, and the peanut sambal dressing was delicious! - French Fries: Perfectly thin and crunchy! They taste like an upgraded version of McDonald's fries. The ranch dressing is tasty and perfect for dipping. TL;DR: Expensive, but you can get 2-3 meals out of one salad and the quality is fantastic. Definitely recommend the Thai Chicken Salad and Fries!

But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Back then, there were sliced cucumbers in the sandwich. I finally returned again recently and tried the Giants sandwich (turkey, cheddar, thick cut bacon, avocado) and Goodfellas (salami, mild coppa, prosciutto, provolone, pesto sauce). The Goodfellas was a bit too salty with the meats + pesto sauce. I think more lettuce/tomatoes/red onions and slightly less meats would've helped balance it out better. I had requested extra red onions, but it looked like the same amount as the other sandwich we got with no extra onions. Also was not a big fan of their pesto. We both preferred the Giants, which was relatively more balanced, but it was still not a very exciting sandwich. The primary flavor was salt, with only a few bites of sourness from the pickles, yet it also gave the overall impression of blandness. The house garlicky mayo didn't have any noticeable garlicky-ness. I also couldn't taste any of the brown mustard or house vinaigrette. The Dutch crunch bread was quite dry and both thin and dense. It looked so good in the pics since it's so stacked with colorful ingredients, but it did not pull through in terms of flavor. Halfway through I was just eating it to fill my belly with sustenance rather than enjoying it (though I didn't hate it either). Prices still seem pretty reasonable for the portion size; that would probably be the main draw for me if I ever return again. Maybe I will give the November sandwich one more shot next time.

Fear of Mission Out. The sandwiches are in high demand. The line on a Saturday that went from the intersection, around the fridge section, to the cashier took about 15 minutes and the sandwich took another 15. Both sandwiches were filling and fresh. The preferable lemon pepper chicken sandwich was bright, flavorful, and tangy, with more dimension. I don't know if it's my favorite sandwich, but certainly top five. I give them five stars, however, because everyone was unpretentious and super nice, the sandwich artist is a machine, they have unique items, and they only charge $1.25 for a can of soda. As for the fresh chocolate chip cookies, my wife liked them. I didn't understand the hype. They were fudgey and doughy, so I guess if you like eating cookie dough you'll love them.
