Great burgers, I got the Moo Melt and side salad. The burger was very tasty and the salad was just the right portion size. I normally don't get shakes but this one was speaking too me. The Mint milkshake was the bomb and came on the tin container it was made in which kept if nice and cold throughout our meal. The staff was very friendly and the place was very inviting. Love the name of the place which was one reason we chose this place. They have several murals on the walls and Moo salt and pepper shakers on the tables. Such a cute place. The best burger around the area hands down. I was looking around for somewhere to eat with my coworkers and we spotted this restaurant. We went in and were greeted immediately. Luckily it was during a weekday so wasn't busy at all for us. They got a variety of burgers so you cannot lose. They'll have something for your taste buds. I got the Philly cheese burger with sweet potato fries on the side. The first bite was out of this world. There was so much flavor in the burger, I was just amazed with every bite. Everything about this experience was great and it's definitely my go to spot for burgers. The waiter was attentive throughout it all, filling up our waters and not forgetting any of our sauces. Shared a cheeseburger and fries with my daughter tonight since it was from the kids menu, was on the go and needed to doordash and try their food for the first time since I don't like fast food and their burgers are so freaking good! Definitely will go back in again to dine in with family to take a better look at their menu and taste all their foods. I thought it was like an in-and-out joint kind of environment but it was more of like a IHOP environment which I like because it's more of a dining area that I want to feel welcome to and eat at!! We really liked this place. The kids were really happy with their shakes, grilled cheese, and Mac & cheese (kraft style). Hubby liked his burger a lot! The side salad was great. From the appetizer sampler the onion rings were definitely the highlight... the rest we probably wouldn't order again. Stick with the fries and onion rings and you'll be happy! First visit on a slow Sunday - Great customer service but not the best burger i've had. I was craving a nice juicy burger and decided to Yelp a spot, $50 later, I left wanting more. Burger tasted as if my brother that doesn't have any grilling experience made it at home (nothing special), moo moo sauce I couldn't even taste, the patty was not moist and the Bun was dry! If you are particular about how you want the patty cooked (medium, medium well, etc...), this place does not ask you about that - I assume they cook it all the same. Chili cheese fries = nothing memorable about them. Only decent things were beer battered fries, pickles, and zucchini sticks. Overall, will not be back. read more

My teen son and I have been to this particular Moo Moo's Burger Barn twice now (and one other location one time). We absolutely LOVE Moo Moo's! Too bad the closest one to us is about 2 hours from our home. We haven't experienced much of their menu, because we totally love our "usuals". My son gets the BBQ Moo Burger. It's "basted with Zesty BBQ Sauce, topped with Bacon, Cheddar Cheese and Deep Fried Onion Tanglers" served on a Kaiser Bun. My fave is the Oinkin' Moo Burger. This burger is "topped with Pulled Pork Marinated in BBQ Sauce, Coleslaw and Deep Fried Onion Tanglers. Served on a Kaiser Bun (or in my case: a gluten free bun - also omit the tanglers to make it gluten free). We have also tried their garlic fries, onion rings, and regular fries. All are wonderful. Our server today, Chris, was amazing. He was attentive, but not overbearing. He also kept our drinks full and even got us to go cups to take some drinks with us. They have free WiFi that has a good signal. No password needed. They are also dog friendly in their outside seating area. When I asked Chris about this, he said that they even bring water out for the dogs and said something about some dogs actually eating there. ;) The bathrooms have been nice and clean both times we have been there. There is a woman's restroom with 3 stalls and then an all gender restroom (similar to a family restroom). We will definitely be returning when we are going through this area again. Upon entry, we were sat in the booths to the left. The first thing I noticed was a clean out in the wall next to the bench seat. Spits on the table we're sticky and all of the condiments (salt and pepper, ketchup, etc.) we're disgustingly dirty and sticky. Our server, female, looked as though her clothes hadn't been washed in a week. She was very nice, but her attire was a turn off. I had the MooMoo burger. The special sauce was tasteless and there wasn't much of a burger patty. The top bun was so greasy I took it off and at it open faced. My friend had the hot pastrami. We stumbled upon this gem of a burger place - super impressed! The hamburger patties were seasoned to perfection you could even catch a glimpse of the pepper. And we enjoyed a half order of zucchini which was delicious with the dipping sauce. It is condescending for you to ask if I got the right establishment. I am not an idiot. My order was picked up by my husband right after it was cooked. Even though my house is 5 mins away, I couldn't call you to have the order remade, why you ask? I have a newborn and it is difficult to find time in between feedings and changing diapers to eat. In fact your buns were so soggy that I only ate the meat patty. See pic I added. Ordered two burgers for Togo and it was the worst burger I've had. We have been loyal customers of Moo Moo's for years. Tonight I was saddened to be treated poorly by the manager. I believe Carlos is his name? He carelessly shoved our take out order into a plastic bag and then plopped it down on a counter that was at least 15 feet from where I was standing by the front door at the front counter. He couldn't even walk over to me and hand it to me or put it on the counter near where I was standing. I am quite sure your dine in customers don't have to walk to get their food. Moo moo made my day! Sometimes I forget to pack a lunch for work and this day I was lucky enough to have a good man bring me some 'vittles' from MOO MOO! (just so fun to say) He sent pictures of the menu and I was torn between the Ruben($7.15) and the Burger ($5.50) so I decided on the Moo Melt ($6.55) which is a burger on grilled rye bread with American and Swiss cheese, Moo sauce, and grilled onion. The burger was cooked to order, juicy and the rye bread was just what I wanted. Good idea for a compromise! The only issue for me; I didn't read the menu all the way for a description of the Moo Sauce, which is similar to Thousand Island. Not my favorite and there was quite a bit on the sandwich. If I were to do it again, I would ask for the sauce on the side so I could put just a little on because it was good, just too abundant. That's just me though! You can upgrade your sandwich to include a side and soda for a couple dollars more. I tried some of the Beer Battered Onion Rings ($6.75/a la carte) and was pleased to hear they make their own ranch. I like that in a restaurant. Anyway, if you are in the Rocklin area and want to try a new place in town, give it shot. They have a wide menu to satisfy anyone with a burger/sandwich mindset. Moooooove and go check this place out! Definitely not what I expected...a sit down burger experience...and so many variations of burgers...it's insane!! I tried the Oink Oink Moo which had in house, hand pulled BBQ pork, coleslaw and onion straws...it was sooooo incredibly good! My husband had the BMS Moo which was bacon, mushroom, Swiss...he loved it because that is his usual favorite...but...truth be told I could tell he was a tad jealous of my BBQ goodness!!! We both also had the beer battered fries which were of course delicious...I mean how could they not be...potatoes that previously frolicked in beer and then deep fried...come on...they were bliss! Of course the piece de resistance was my Shirley Temple! Gerardo made it "his" way...which had good grenadine...not just torani syrup and in a pint glass topped off with 4 cherries...quite schnazzy if you ask me!! The only thing more fun and crazy than the menu offerings was Gerardo's personality!! He was a blast to have as our server! Sweet like grenadine and served with a side of spicy...good times for sure! We will definitely be back...but not too soon or too often...because even though they have some healthier alternatives...I wouldn't want anything other than a deliciously messy burger...and I don't want to resemble the name of the burger that had my tastebuds dancing and jumping for joy!! I had the classic moo moo burger, my wife had the bbq moo moo burger, the kids had the mac and cheese. We all enjoyed our food, the burger is a 1/3 pound patty, the bun is a standard sesame seed bun.
