Worth it! Love this viet cafe and it makes me happy to see that many people have discovered it as I've seen more and more ppl come here to study. I get the mango matcha with oat milk and it's one of the best mango matchas out there ! Earthy matcha that isnt overpowered by the mango purée. The mango is so fresh and perfectly sweet. I'm a picky mango matcha person bc some places are too sour, overpowering, artificial, etc. but this spot nailed it ! My bf gets the honey green tea and he loves it. It's light with a strong tea flavor and not too sweet

As a mango sticky rice lover, I had to try this viral smoothie! I went in with my mind already made up on my drink. I tried their mango sticky rice and I thought it tasted good. There are small pieces of sticky rice chunks that caught me off guard but were tasty. You definitely have to be in the mood for a sweeter drink and be okay with larger chucks of rice that may clog your straw. The cafe is fairly quiet with indoor seating and parking is free so it's a nice place to study or work.

Willing to offer a kidney in exchange for endless mango sticky rice smoothies. I have been a fanatic for mango sticky rice lately. I can't get enough of this light and refreshing dessert. When I saw on tiktok that this local shop was making it in smoothie form, I literally grabbed my keys. Moon Cha is a cutesy beverage shop on the Bolsa Chica side of Huntington Beach. Their fan favorite menu items include a variety of matcha, banana ice cream lattes, and fruit and milk teas. IMO, they could wipe this entire menu and survive off of mango sticky rice smoothies alone. This drink is perfectly sweet from the mango, decadent from the condense milk, and has a bit of chew from the white rice. The interior is a great space for meeting with a friend or getting some work done. The space is well lit and the outlets are plentiful.

Wow!! Tik tok did its big one and put me onto this mango sticky rice smoothie. Worth the hype and honestly reasonably priced for around $7. It's Asian-level sweet and the rice bits complement the drink. Lowkey revolutionary. In the sea of matcha this and hojicha that, this mango sticky rice smoothie really shines fr. Staff upfront are helpful and kind as well, no complaints! Big parking lot in this strip mall. Warm lighting, plenty of seating so it would be an option for people looking to study.

the mango sticky rice smoothie was a MUST TRY. it had great pieces of sticky rice within the smoothie that you would suck up with every strawful. the mango tasted more like syrup rather than fresh fruit, bit the overall smoothie was a nice flavor. not sure what the other drinks are like, only went specifically for this smoothie. the service was fast and the staff were friendly. the shop itself had enough seating for about 15-20 people. looks like people were studying there and it wasn't too busy.

My first purchase was the mango sticky rice smoothie ($7) and I thought the first few sips was refreshing with the bits of sticky rice but lost the mango flavor after. I came back to try the banana ice cream latte coffee and this was much better than the smoothie. The banana tasted like the apple banana variety (iykyk lol) and didn't overpower the coffee.

I stumbled upon moon cha after scrolling on tik tok and added it to my must try list. I walked in and moon cha offered a serene, calm environment with plenty of seating. The environment itself was not loud, making it the perfect place to study and relax. It took quite a while for the employees to take my order. I ordered matcha einspanner after hearing great things about it. The matcha itself was high quality; but the einspanner was more of a salted sweet cream compared to einspanners I have previously had. I was not impressed by the matcha einspanner because it was smaller than expected and had a different flavor. I plan on trying other items in the future.

Sophia saw this on Tik Tok so we had to try it. It's in a non-descript strip mall in the middle of Huntington Beach. It's a cute light and bright location and the service is very friendly. She ordered the mango sticky rice smoothie, which she said was the best thing she had today. I got the Moon Latte, which is like a Taiwanese or Vietnamese coffee and I loved it too.

Came for their mango sticky rice smoothie and I've definitely found a new spot to keep coming back to! The smoothie doesn't have the strongest mango flavor which I honestly prefer and appreciated that they actually included bits of sticky rice in the drink I sometimes don't see "mango sticky rice" flavored items doing. I could see this as a good study cafe as well this spot is pretty spacious and had lots of seating with no overcrowding.

Clean, warm aesthetic with fast service. Plenty of tables are perfect for work or studying. Located in the corner of a plaza. A bit on the pricey side. The mango series for the season. Mango coconut matcha was really good; I may be biased, as someone who grew up eating mangos and coconuts all the time, but incorporating it into matcha is brilliant. It's refreshing and earthy at the same time. I loved it.

I'll give this place a solid 3/5 as an AVERAGE rating until I try it again to update my review. Their layout is so cute! I noticed that they had their first customer's reciept and I'm excited to see more memories on their bulletin board! Haha overall, the ambiance is good, the place is clean. I noticed it's such a peaceful place to study or to catch up with someone. But I would like to mention that plants can be very finnicky so it's hard to spot but I noticed that there were a couple gnats around the plants. Hopefully, it's gone by now! I already notified the staff and they told me they'd handle it!

Really love all their drinks here. Had a mango matcha latte which I thought was the perfect balance of sweetness and the matcha flavor really shined through. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place that actually has good drinks. Lots of space to study/work/chill. Very cozy, clean & homey vibes. Ordered the ube coffee. I was used to the ube coffee at Airoma but if I'm gonna be honest, this ube coffee was way better. The recipe is so much more meticulously created & doesn't have that heavy, artificial taste that ube drinks tend to have. It almost has this nice unique hint of roast or something that did it for me. Very well done. The blueberry muffin was nice & moist which is a plus (unless you like dry muffins). Service is very nice and attentive. Despite it being a new place, it will definitely make it on our top spots to go to for a coffee/matcha/hojicha! read more

Stopped by at night as my girlfriend and I were driving around. We got the Jasmine Matcha and Mango Matcha. The Jasmine one was super good - we would definitely recommend trying. We got it with the cream on top too and it was perfect. For the Mango Matcha, we wish the matcha/mango taste was a little stronger. It felt a little lacking in flavor, though it wasn't bad. We still liked it, but not too sure we'd get it again. For reference, I like Haru's (Buena Park) mango matcha, which has a mango purée with bits that's mixed in. The interior is nice and the wooden furniture tie the place together. The lights tend to flicker, which makes it a little hard to just sit and enjoy for a while. We look forward to coming back and trying other drinks as well as some pastries next time. read more

I already mixed the drink before taking the photo, but I got the banana cream coffee, and banana bread from this coffee shop. So good, the pastry pairs well with the coffee (not super sweet, very strong coffee which I like). Glad to tried new coffee shop in town. Definitely worth the try! I got the jasmine milk matcha and the chocolate muffin. The jasmine milk matcha was yummy, it had a strong jasmine tea flavor. The chocolate muffin was also really good, not too sweet, and had the option to be heated up. I had a sip of the mango matcha and I thought it was really good, I'll order that next time. The service was amazing, they brought my order to my table and were really friendly. The interior is also really pretty and has a calming aesthetic. I finished my matcha before I left the parking lot. First time having mango matcha too and I'm a big fan. Honey lemon refresher is also peak Edit: I had to come back after my run to try the Hojicha. Perfect earthy flavors and just the right amount of sweetness so it's not overpowering but complimentary. Got a strawberry matcha too, which was also very good. Staff is engaging and very nice too, I came a few minutes before closing and they still accommodated me. read more

I was excited to try this matcha spot, but unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the mango matcha, but the mango flavor was barely noticeable, and the matcha itself tasted very weak and low quality. The drink overall was very watery and filled with ice, even though I asked for less. For nearly $10 for a medium, it just wasn't worth it. There are so many other matcha places with better taste, price and quality. read more

This is my first time trying out this spot. I decided to get the Einspanner Matcha. It was pretty busy so it took maybe 5-10 minutes to recieve my drink. The drink was ok. It doesn't have a strong matcha taste and the presentation is pretty plain. Personally not worth the money. The restroom is also why I rated this place low. Toilet was clogged, no toilet paper, and sink barely works. This place needs some work. read more

Not sure what I expected jasmine milk matcha to taste like, but it was pretty good! The jasmine flavor kinda overpowers the matcha flavor though, imo (I think you can tell just from the color of the drink in my photo), which is okay for me, because I'm not a huge matcha person anyway - but if you like a stronger matcha, this might not be the drink for you. The mango matcha was also really good but similarly, I feel like the mango kinda overpowered the matcha. Love to see Khmer-owned businesses! Moon Cha has a great selection of pastries and drinks and we got the Strawberry Matcha and Banana Matcha. This spot is perfect for those who enjoy matcha on the less sweeter side and a strong matcha flavor. If you prefer it sweeter, they provide complimentary syrups (vanilla, simple, agave,...)! Other than the drinks, this cafe is perfect for studying. It is spacious and has a plentiful amount of tables available (+ outlets). Loved this place! Cozy and spacious spot that's perfect to study or chill at in HB. I loved all the drinks that we got. The Banana Ice Cream Matcha Latte with Oat Milk was great! The cream top was not too thick and had a slight coconut flavor and the toffee bits on top are a nice touch. The matcha itself has a slight umami aftertaste that pairs well with the cream top! The Mango Matcha Latte with Oat Milk was also yummy! Loved that it reminds me of Mango Melona. This is my boyfriend's favorite! The Hojicha Latte with Oat Milk had a deep roasted flavor that had me impressed! I feel like hojicha like this is hard to find in OC. We also got walnut banana bread that was great, as it was not dry at all and was very flavorful! I love how thick the slice was as well. The mini fruit tarts were also yummy! I love their drinks so much, especially the Banana Ice Cream. You can get it with either matcha or coffee. I usually go with coffee and is so delicious, they got the best banana cream ever! The owners of the cafe are very welcoming and treat their customers with care. The space is also really spacious and warm so if you want to study, I definitely recommend coming here. Definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area. read more

The matcha is so good!!! Before I drove here, I was afraid that it would be very packed, but when I arrived it wasn't really. I came in with my dog and they treated her with such respect--rare to see from coffee shops. Even gave her a little treat!! I found the matcha here is pretty decent. I often got the banana matcha latte, it's not too sweet, but maybe I will ask for less cream next time for personal preference. the space was nice and clean! there's a weird smell but as i read from other reviews it's from the place being painted so hopefully it airs out soon enough. my cousin told me to try their jasmine matcha and im so happy it lived up to my expectations. my sister got the mango matcha which was okay - not that much of a mango taste she said. the workers were also so nice they actually brought out our drinks which i was not expecting. i wish this place was closer to me because i love their jasmine matcha!! read more

Been here a few times, and tried the mango sticky rice smoothie and jasmine matcha. Both were delicious! Smoothie wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet and the rice bits were good with the drink, although I think sometimes it can be hard to sip on the big chunks. Jasmine matcha was fragrant as well. sooo good! the matcha pairs well with the jasmine milk, you can really taste the floral notes :) it's not intensely sweet either so that's a plus, didn't have to make any adjustments on that. I was also pretty satisfied with the size, I think it's a generous amount. It wasn't very packed in the cafe, but I did go around 4pm. I will 100% be going back! read more

Stopped by around noon on a Saturday and had a great experience. The café was calm with no wait, and there was plenty of parking in the shared lot, which was convenient. The inside itself is traditionally designed with a cute, modern aesthetic. There was plenty of seating and a decent number of outlets along the wall, making it a good spot to work, study, or catch up with a friend. Soft music played in the background, adding to the relaxed atmosphere without being distracting. I ordered the Ube Milk Coffee and a Honey Lemon Green Tea. The Ube Milk Coffee had a nice balance of flavors. The coffee itself was fairly bold and slightly bitter, while the ube milk added just enough sweetness to round it out without tasting artificial or overly sugary. The two flavors blended together really well. One small downside is that they didn't offer decaf for this drink, which would have been nice but sounds like it was the nature in which it was prepared. While shopping at Amazon Fresh, I hear a few workers talking about Moon Cha. Decide to give it a try. The customer service is above and beyond. Matcha Latte 9/10, the drinks is pretty balanced between the milk and matcha. Probably one of my top 5. The worker told me their Mango Matcha get a mixed review, but I tried it anyway 8/10. It's definitely Mango forward, but I can still taste the Matcha pretty decent. Curious to try their others drinks. read more
