The eggs are pre-prepared...don't have eggs on the menu if they are pre-cooked. Making fresh eggs is not that difficult.

We met our guide Pam in the village at Solitude where she welcomed us and outfitted us with snowshoes and headlamps for the slightly moderate hike up the mountain to the Yurt. It was so refreshing to hike through the trees and the snow to our dining adventure. Once inside the Yurt chef Andy introduced himself and welcomed us with a glass of bubbles and explained our dining experience for this evening and the menu that he had planned. He was conscious to ask about any dietary restrictions or allergies. The majority of the menu is locally sourced and includes lots of farm to table elements. We started with a plate of fresh breads and cheeses from Beehive Creamery. Next we were served a fresh mixed green salad with a vinaigrette dressing. Then the soup was a potato leek soup with bacon which was so warm and comforting. The main course was a NY Strip Steak in a special cut served atop pureed cauliflower and asparagus. The flavor was amazing. To wrap up our meal we enjoyed some salted caramel ice cream. The only thing that was lacking is the beverage menu. Only water is offered as a beverage. There is a wine and beer list available with options by the glass or the bottle and all at moderate prices which is expected at a resort. They do permit you to bring your own bottle with a modest $35 corkage fee. With this experience being so magical and modestly priced it would be nice to have a few other beverage options "included" in the cost of the dinner. This is an entire dining experience with the snowshoe hike up the mountain, a chef curated meal inside the Yurt and the opportunity for communal dinning with some new folks. The prices for this meal are really the price for the experience. We were celebrating my birthday and what an amazing way to celebrate.

But the service was awful! We walked in around 2 or so for lunch on a Monday. It was crowded. Several staff walked past us waiting at the counter for a seat and didn't say a peep to us. Finally a woman appeared and said she'd be with us shortly. She came back and when it asked if we could sit on the patio she told me it was closed because in the morning it had been cold. It was in the 70's at 2pm?! She sat us at a table next to a support beam and it felt very tight. Chairs were not very comfortable and the table was wobbly. It was very warm in the restaurant and very loud. We sat for 15-20 minute without a single person acknowledging us. I was about to get up and leave when finally a waitress came for our order. My husband enjoyed his Back 40 burger commenting on how juicy it was but expected more flavor. I ordered a Garden salad which was really good. Carrots were huge, tomatoes were yummy and like I said earlier the greens were so crisp and so fresh. My daughter had the chicken tenders and seriously the chicken was so tender and tasted fresh unlike grocery store chicken. The views are amazing!

Overall: one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, delicious, fresh, balanced food,…read moreexcellent service, interesting menu, reasonable prices, gorgeous ambiance, single stall inclusive restrooms We went on a weekday around 9:30 and were able to be seated right away. Our waiter was super knowledgeable, helpful, and quick. He helped me order a lavender coffee drink and it came out exactly how I wanted it. My partner tried their orange coffee seasonal drink and it was incredible. It was so unique, smooth, interesting and not too sweet. All of their seasonal drinks sounded fun. It was hard to order because I wanted everything on the menu. My chilaquiles were balanced, filling, and rich. My partners mermaid bowl was fun and the perfect temperature to not turn into soup by the time you were done eating it. They had a kids menu and high chairs. The apple juice that came with the kids meal must have been fresh squeezed. It was the best apple juice I had ever tried and it was a huge portion size. The fries were tasty. My only wish is that there was one of these in Maryland so I could be a regular.

This shakshouka does a good job combining the silky eggs and smoky chorizo with savory spices, and fresh herbs. Every bite had a touch of brightness. With this is served the Red Bicycle crack bread, which perfect for soaking up every bit of the flavorful sauce. And while crack could be describing the wheat used, it's more likely describing the addition to it. We also had the halloumi with hot honey. The cheese has a firmness the gives easily to a forks edge and the flavor is mild that held up well to the sweetness of the honey. They could have been a little more generous with the honey, not a complaint, just an observation ;-). It's an excellent breakfast cheese without overwhelming the palate.

What a pleasure to find such a gem just a short drive from the Park City downtown area…read more Our waitress, Stephanie (also a former Michigander) was such an integral part of our wonderful experience. Her suggestions of the Fern salad as our starter, the trout dish as our main (my special maple Old Fashioned) and our peanut butter bread pudding dessert made for a 10 out of 10 experience! We will definitely revisit this place full of great service and gastronomical delights when we are next in town! Cheers!

We had such a lovely experience here…read more Every dish felt really special and thoughtfully done. We started with the house-made focaccia with whipped ricotta, which was incredible. The Utah elk with huckleberry jam was a standout, such a unique and well-balanced combination. The elk ragu was also amazing, super rich and full of flavor. I loved that they source locally. It really shows and makes the whole meal feel even more special. The presentation of each plate was beautiful. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and everything felt intentional and well seasoned. I also really appreciated how they handled dietary needs. The menu clearly labels gluten-free and dairy-free options, which made it easy to navigate without any guesswork. Our waitress was attentive and gave great recommendations throughout the night. Even though it's located in a strip mall, don't let that deter you. The interior has a modern, elevated feel, and the easy parking is honestly a huge bonus. We ended with the strawberry apple tart and the brownie sundae, and both were fantastic.

This was the most overpriced meal we had in Park City…read more The restaurant and bar design is very pretty.. but the food and drink did not meet expectations. The service here was fine.. nothing noteworthy. We ordered cocktails, but did not care for them. The duck was unique, but it was a very small portion of meat. This meal is mostly bread and veggies in sauce with small pieces of duck (think pulled pork). The Cacio e Pepe was shockingly expensive and insulting for this pasta dish. For that price we were expecting a large dish with a wow factor, but it actually lacked flavor. For parents with children, I will also note that this is not a convenient place to come with small children. If you want to go to the restroom you need to leave the restaurant and go outside and across a hall to a more public restroom (it was clean), which is less than convenient with little kids. They don't have a kids menu either, it's just verbal, but they did have a few basic options (my kids had pasta).
