Service Department toooooo slow. I made an appointment for 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday for a oil change, inspection and tire rotation. My car was not finished unitl 11:00 a.m. 2 and 1/2 hours is way too long for this service. I would even understand if I just drove up, but I did make an appt. They sort of have you by the neck, because you have free oil changes and tire rotations for the first 40,000 miles. read more

My Service Advisor David Korelitz is great! He is nice, kind, professional and courteous. David keeps me updated on the status of when my car will be ready and let's me know if there are any unforeseen issues. When the wait for the part for my car appeared to be taking several weeks, David escalated the situation and was able to get the part within 11 days. Since I am a new Cadillac owner, the timeliness of the arrival of the part was very important. I id not wait at the site, a loaner Cadillac was provided. I was able to go to work and return at the end of my work day. read more

This was easily my 8th time at the dealership with warranty repairs (IN TEN MONTHS). This time, I was scheduled to have a piece of foam put into the seat of my 2016 ATS because the foam in the seat was coming apart where the seat heater apparatus is. Even though I had an appointment, they didn't have the part and were clearly not expecting me. This was the final straw....In response to the overall inferior quality of the vehicle itself, coupled with the dismal customer service I have received from Moore Cadillac on the many occasions I have brought the car in since buying it 10 months ago, I have traded it in on a 2017 BMW 650. I recently took my Hummer H3 in for a leak in or around the sunroof. They informed me that it was a clog in the drains and it needed the plug drilled out. They gave me a bunch of other issues to be fixed which would have totaled over $2000.00 to fix the 3rd brake light, dry the carpet, replace rear wiper and drill out the drain plug. I only authorized the drain plug which totaled around $600.00. When I picked up the car the bill was almost 960.00 which I questioned at the time of pick up. The person who was assisting me wasn't in at the time so I was dealing with a different person at check out. He said to pay and call the person to see what could be done since they had replaced the cars battery which is why the price was higher that quoted. I took the car home and called the next day to speak with them. He said he knew I had not authorized the battery replacement and he would see what he could do and get back to me. He never got back to me in regards to this issue and I called back weeks later and he no longer worked there. The service manager said he knew nothing of this issue and would not do anything about it. So be warned that they may tack on additional unauthorized charges and then say they can do nothing to fix the problem. I even said at the time I would return the vehicle for them to take out the battery since I could have the battery replaced by my roadside assistance program for basically nothing so why would I ever have them do it for over $300 additional dollars!! read more

Folks, Car-buying has been consistently rated as one of the most unpleasant experiences one could expect to go through. It is, therefore, with great pleasure that I would like to highly recommend a salesman, Bouch Siaf (703- 674- 5900, ext. 326) for the exceptional service he provided my wife and me during our recent vehicle purchase. Throughout the transaction, he was very pleasant, efficient, and treated us like an old friend or family. Upon arrival for our appointment, Bouch already had the vehicle washed and ready for our test drive. After the test drive, he took us to his comfortable office, where he offered us some refreshments, and very patiently explained the deal in a relaxed, no-pressure manner. In response to my wife who is always very picky, Bouch had the vehicle detailed one more time, replaced the floor mats, and even threw in a full tank of gas ..... and the list goes on and on. When it came to the numbers, he persuaded the Finance Manager to work even harder with potential lenders to ensure that we obtained the best financing possible, significantly better than anything we could have hoped for! I cannot say enough about the excellent and superior customer service that we got from Bouch Siaf. Needless to say, he is going to be the one we call when we are ready to buy our next vehicle. I was extremely disappointed. The whole time I was coming to Moore, I had assumed they always looked out for me. During this last visit, I found out I was being taken advantage of. I had a coupon for GM Original Equipment Brake Pads Installed for $169.95 per axle* but forgot to bring it. I later on emailed it to get credit back but found out Craig (my service advisor) had opted to installed the most expensive break pads without advising me of that, and of course, I couldn't take advantage of the coupon Moore sent me. A manager (John or Jack) later called me to explain that I couldn't use the coupon but still wanted to give me 'something' so they sent me $100, which is ridiculous given the fact that I should have been reimbursed at least $400 based on the coupon I had. I will NEVER come back to Moore. I spent a lot of money with this dealer in services and was expecting to be treated better than this. read more

I wanted to share my experience with my first visit to this dealership. I had a Mitsubishi Evo MR with 10,700 miles in need of an oil change and tire rotation. I dropped off the car with Don Kelly in service and went to see what kind of trouble my wife (who followed me there so we could go to lunch while my car was being worked on) had gotten into on the car lot. We are both car enthusiasts so car lots often mean trouble. She had wondered over to the Mitsubishi side of the dealer and was outside talking to one of the salesman. They were knee deep in a conversation over some of the differences between c5 and c6 Corvettes. It turns out the saleman, Curt Compton, owns a 1996 Silver Convertible and we have it's younger sister, a 2006, in the same trim/color. I often dread having to drag her away from a saleman trying to crowbar in a pitch while we were just there for service but my wife immediately knocked that look off my face by saying they were just talking cars. We ended up staying and talking about Mitsu's and Vette's for 30 minutes or so with Curt before we left for lunch. Curt did two great things in that small amount of time before I arrived from the Caddy side from service...he didn't either ignore her for being female (which sadly has happened to us often at dealers, especially when shopping performance cars) but also was genuinely interested in just discussing the cars. These two seemingly small things led to a sale. I got a call while downing a Margarita with my tacos at El Frescho from Don Kelly in service with some puzzling news. He initially asked if I had lowered the suspension on my car, I explained that there were no aftermarket mods to the car whatsoever and asked what was going on. He said my tires were worn almost to the metal. This took me off guard because I have been having the oil changed and tires rotated every 3000 miles and the Mitsu dealer in Tysons didn't say anything about the tires on my last visit (I only drive the car about 3k/year). So I went back in to talk to Don. I asked if the car was still on the lift and if I could take a look at the tire wear since it seemed so unlikely. He was meeting with someone at the moment (I actually interrupted) and said it would be a few minutes. He came out to get me a few minutes later and walked me over to the service bays. It turns out he had actually asked the service personnel to bring the car back in and put it back on the lift JUST to show me the tires. I was extremely impressed with that level of service and he took the time to explain exactly where the tire issues were and the best course of action. Curt was the most knowledgeable car salesman that I have ever dealt with. I do not have vast experience but my wife and I have purchased around 20 cars in our lifetime, all of which are moderately affordable sports cars. Curt got my car appraised and came back and started to talk numbers with us. It was clear after the first 20 minutes or so that the trade in offer, the price on new car, and my set monthly payment limit was not workable. He clearly showed us where we needed to be in a variety of ways in order to it the monthly payment goal that I set out to achieve. My wife is a very savvy car buyer and we inundated Curt with comparable cars, offers, factory to dealer incentives and financing discounts. After many phone calls and many trips, we came to a number that was close enough. I just cant put into words (I know, even with the wall of text above) what a pleasure it was to go through the car buying process with Curt Compton. I hope in 3 years when I am ready for another that the Mitsu side of the Moore dealer is still open and more importantly that Curt will still be there to assist me. I walked in yesterday to do the financing with 2 other loans already procured. I let Laura Salcedo, in finance, know the interest rate and term that currently was the lowest in my hands and she beat it immediately. By the time I sat down with her, Curt had already given her my credit score (which I told him) and gave me an idea what she was able to do. Even the financing part was a breeze and Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with. If I can say anything negative it is that it is pretty apparent after 12 hours or so spent between the two sides is that the Mitsu side of the dealership is not given the same priority/opportunity that the Cadillac side is. The two closest dealers to this area are in Tysons and Frederick and I have been to both and had bad experiences at both and was ecstatic to have a good experience at this one. I called at 10am on a Saturday morning to schedule and oil and filter change for my 2007 DTS and was told to bring it in at 1pm and that it would take about an hour. I brought the vehicle in and it was completed as promised to include a car wash. Kudos to David for his friendliness and customer service. I have dealt with many other dealers since moving to Virginia eleven years ago and Moore Cadillac is by far the best and I would highly recommend them to any owning a GM vehicle. I have been a loyal customer for over fours years and intend to use Moore for all my service needs. read more

I brought in my 2013 ATS for the CUE upgrade. It took a full day, but the service rep had already approved a 2-day free rental. They also performed minor (warranty) service without asking, which will save me from bringing it back for an oil change in a few weeks. The facility is extremely clean, the service reps were ready for me when I arrived, and they had coordinated with the on-site Enterprise rental personnel, who got me in and out of my rental car quickly. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Moore Cadillac in terms of sales, service (2 visits now), and the on-site Enterprise rental shop. read more

I have nothing but great things to say regarding my three experiences with the Service/Collision Department at Moore Cadillac in Chantilly, VA. My son's older car was hit (and run) in a parking lot a year and a half ago. Dean Rogers handled the repairs then and was absolutely terrific to work with. My son agreed. 3 months ago after driving for years without incident I backed out of our own driveway (husbands new 2012 Fusion ) into the back end of a work vehicle parked illegally. Thank goodness for insurance and yes, once again Dean Rogers. He made quick, beautiful repairs and was just as pleasant this time to work with. My husband was very pleased with the results as well. Then recently my husband parallel parked the same car in the city. Upon returning to the vehicle we discovered someone had clipped the drivers side panel; slightly but still denting an area the size of a quarter next to the gas cap. I once again took the car into Moore Cadillac ((May 3, 2013) and asked to see Dean Rogers. I doubt he remembered me but I remember him very well. I drove over that morning without calling first or scheduling an appointment so I felt very lucky he was free and that he made time to speak with me. This time Dean was able to pop the dent out with apparently not much trouble. I was back in the car driving home within 15 minutes. Amazing. Plus, the best part was he didn't charge me a penny. Now THAT folks is GREAT customer service!! I will never go anywhere else to have body work done to any of our cars. I hope Dean Rogers knows how special he is and how much I appreciated his simple act of kindness, but more importantly I hope Moore Cadillac realizes what a top notch employee and gem of a man- they have in him. New Car Buyers...Beware...Read This!!! Note: I'm a repeat customer. I traded in my 2012 SRX that I purchased from Moore Cadillac in 2012 with only19K miles and in excellent condition for the new 2014 SRX with the enhanced security features in May 2014. My new 2014 was in the shop the 2nd and 3rd week after purchasing for various problems and major repairs. In June my vehicle was back at Moore service for the Theft Detection alarm going off while the vehicle was in motion and the fear of being stranded on the road away from home was frightening. The diagnosis of the problem took about 2 weeks with No resolution. Just 3 weeks ago, our vehicle was back at Moore Service for another 10 days for various problems with NO resolution AND guess what, Yes, Roadside Service will be towing our vehicle back to Moore dealership tomorrow for the Engine leaking oil heavily. The Leadership here doesn't seems to care once the ink on the sales papers are signed. And This is VERY BAD Business! I am truly Disappointed with Moore Cadillac. Over the past several months, we have reached out to General Motors and to Moore Cadillac's Owner, Mr. Joe Moore, and no body wants to help us with the exception of Audrey the Service Manager whose hands seem to be tied and everybody keeps saying "I'm Sorry". Mr. Moore, I've filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau seeking some resolution. Why don't your dealership "Do The Right Thing" and either give us another 2014 or take back the Lemon that you sold us and dismiss the $50,000 Debt. They picked up my vehicle from my home, left me a comparable loaner for the duration of the service, and returned my vehicle in great condition. Don provided excellent communication throughout the process and ensured that I felt like a valued customer. Can't even give them a one star. Moore Cadillac placed very little emphasis on satisfaction and was consumed with making a sale. As a person that appreciates honesty and integrity, I found very little of that. No response from Mr. Moore when I emailed him with my concern nor returned calls from several other associates when I left messages. When driving home at 10:30 pm after the sale, apparently no detailing of value had been done. Something must have been sprayed on the windshield which not until I was on a two lane road with oncoming cars did I realize that the entire windshield was covered with something that distorted my view. I was unable to clearly see the oncoming cars. I was frightened and drove very slowly until I found a small shopping center. The wipers and washer could not remove what was on the windshield. Fortunately we had water and some paper towels and with much rubbing made a circle that we could see out of. We were an hour from where we lived and at 67 years old we found ourselves driving under one of the most dangerous conditions we have ever experienced. Even after Moore Cadillac was informed the next day, apparently no one considered what happened to be of importance to them. I would never recommend Moore Cadillac to anyone. read more

I received a gift certificate card around Christmas time. It was for $25. I also receive coupons on a monthly basis. One of the coupons was for a free state insection. My Seville needed both state and emissions inspections. They said after work was completed that I could only use one coupon...even though I had one coupon ane one gift certificate. They also wanted to do an alignment for $215! The Manassas Dealer wanted only $129. Most places charge &80 yo $100. They failed my state inspection for faulty rear brakes. They wanted around $500 to fix! This appointment took 2 hours and 30 minutes.I was a mechanic for 8 years, and there was nothing wrong with my brakes. I took it back 2 days later to show them, and after 2 hours and 45 minutes, they said the car was ready, but stilled failed. Very disapointed. read more

The 2.5 hour oil change. I purchased my Cadillac from this dealership. I called two weeks in advance and made an oil change and tire rotation appointment. I was told about an hour or 1.5 max. and was sitting there for over 2.5 hours and the tires didn't even get rotated at least it was not on the work order. There was another gentleman in for the same service. He also waited the 2.5 hours, unsure if he got his tires rotated as he left before I did. But they did have a nice waiting area and the service representative was nice and professional. read more

Took my 03 caddy to have a small dent fixed on the driver side door. went to pick up , paint did not come close to matching,had buffing swirls,and the electric window did not work! Been a customer for a few years... each experience has been professional, courteous, and prompt. Regular service and repairs, with Melissa, have consistently been easy. A half year ago, I wrecked my SUV. Moore Cadillac and Karl lived up to my prior Moore Cadillac experiences... absolutely flawless. Today, I towed my SUV to the dealership, for a transmission repair. I arrived and there was a glitch in the process for Moore to receive my vehicle. The service people had just left and I would have been stranded... but Tony (Sales Manager) immediately stepped up and made sure that I was in good hands (Bobby)... and just a short while later, my SUV had been received by Moore Cadillac and I was on my way in a loaner. Interesting to note is that everyone makes mistakes. What differentiates people and businesses is what the entity does with a mistake. Moore Cadillac promptly acknowledged the mistake and immediately corrected it, leaving the customer (me) extremely satisfied. Thank you, Moore Cadillac. read more

The salesman I worked with must have been having a bad day. I walked around the showroom for about ten minutes before the receptionist walked up to me and asked how she could help me. I really wished she had been a salesperson because her attitude was excellent and frankly she was adorable (I would have bought from her on the spot just because of her attitude). She then had to call the salesperson who was literally staring directly at us to help me. Quite disappointing. Once he finally came over to me he unenthusiastically showed me a few cars and didn't ask very many questions to find out who I was and what I was looking for other than what I do for work. He also kept trying to push leasing on me when I continuously said I wouldn't be interested in paying that much money into something I'm not building equity in. He continued to tell me I could buy it at the end of the lease and I might want or need a different car down the road.. Way to sell your product. Leases typically end up being more expensive if you want to own the car at the end. No thank you. I didn't see him smile once and he gave me the feeling I was burdening him somehow. Unenthusiastic and a bad vibe = buzz kill. Frankly, I walked out not knowing much more about the car I went to look at then I did when I walked in. Which was very little. The only reason that I'm not just giving one star is because of the receptionist. She brightened my day. Let me know if she gets into sales. Other than that, I'm not interested in spending $80,000 here. read more

Pretty Disappointing! When a Geico insured hit me my DH let them convince him that if I took it to Moore it would be an easy streamlined repair process (we had asked to take it to the Honda dealer). Well it is very close to my home in South Riding and I like that the adjuster and rental car facility were on the property....sounds great right? I thought so ...WRONG! Everyone was very helpful and nice when I dropped it off. Then, I never got the promised initial phone call to let me know how long they might have my car. We had to call they don't know. A few days later someone called me to followup when I inquired how long "Taylor" the assistant thought they would have my car his response was "I have no idea, they are supposed to put notes in here but did not." Why call me then if you have no information. On Saturday with no notice they called me 15 minutes before they close to tell me that my van was ready. I couldn't get there then, I was at Regan National they say no problem come on Monday. So I do and when I get there and inspect my van there is what appears to be wax all over the front bumper. I ask there assigned inspector "What is that wax?" It is the end of the business day and states "That's a lot of wax, but yeah it's just wax" He just wants to leave and blows me off, my husband arrives to meet me there after work and he and I begin to try to remove the wax with a wet napkin (it is streaked and smeared all over the bumper they were replacing). It won't come off so we go back inside to get the guy back out to discuss and he has left for the day. Luckily we did get Dean another employee. We look at it and realize they have totally messed up the paint job. We leave it there for them to fix. Mind you my husband is pretty upset that they tried to pass off inferior work. After investigation we were told that their Quality Control person had attempted to repair a messed up paint job himself rather than send it back to their paint department. Some Quality Control person. We are told they will redo it and be in touch to let us know when the paint job will be complete. This was Monday, no call, no surprise. We call should be Thursday (mind you this is the answer we get after several unsuccessful calls.) On Saturday when we have not heard back we call.... they don't know they had to order several parts. Monday I call they will look into and call me back they don't. Eventually we get a response that it will be ready late that day. When we go to pick it up the paint job is fixed but they have put in a generic lead light that is all scratched up. We simply ask that all Honda parts be returned to the van that is only 1 year old. They say they will order and replace for us later... they are supposed to call us when it is in. We will see, bet I have to call them 3 or 4 times to track it down. Overall poor experience that took way too long. Very annoying to call over and over and not get a response. Sorry I did not insist on going to the Honda dealer. Geico adjuster was great but Moore stinks, I am afraid Dean is their only employee that has a clue. read more

I didnt have the best experience at Moore Cadillac Collision Center. Find another body shop! Poor customer service and no followup with body shop and customer on updates/ status of your car repairs. Stopped in 8/19 for a estimate on my car damage post car accident from a Geico adjuster. Received estimate from adjustor and was informed I could pre-order parts and drop off my car when parts arrive to expedite repairs. Adjustor handed me off to my service advisor and said he would be in touch when parts arrived, should only take 2-3 days. So 11 days passed by and I never heard back from my service advisor or anyother person at Moore. I proactively emailed to check the status on my parts arrival after the 11 days of no feedback and was told parts are here please schedule a time for drop off. Scheduled a time for drop off with my service advisor and he was NOT THERE! Got someone else to help. The estimate 3 days of repair passed and I called to see if my car was ready as I had a rental that needed to be returned. I was told there was additional damage on my car and my car wont be ready for 1 more week! Was anyone going to call and tell me that so I could extend my rental?? Finally 1 week time was up and I STILL didnt get a call on status of my car. I called in ...spoke with production manager Rich M. who was able to get things squared away for me. read more

I recently purchased a used SRX from Moore Cadillac and had a very good initial impression. Customer service was good and they seemed to be helpful and honest. The car I was looking at was extremely dirty and I agreed to purchase the car under the condition that I would come back in a week and it would be fully cleaned up. Considering this was my first car purchase I was already nervous about purchasing it and wasn't happy with it's current condition. I came back a week later and was very disappointed when I saw the car. It looked as if they hadn't touched it since I last was there. We went over to the service department and they had told me they don't allot enough time per vehicle to fully detail cars( if I had known this I would've thought otherwise about buying the car). At this point I was stuck with the vehicle and had to take it home. I was told about possible reimbursement for a detailing service and was happy that they could potentially do this for me. I contacted them after I got the car detailed and was told a few times that I would have an answer soon. Although I know I wasn't promised anything I never heard back from them again. Overall I had a good initial experience but was highly disappointed with how things ended with the dealership. read more

After shopping several other dealers - i one less than 3 miles from where i live.I saw a 2013 XTS on AutoTrader.com, at Moore Cadillac- i sent them an email and Bouch responded back within hours. i followed up with a call on Monday regarding pricing -which i was given even a better price than listed. so i hopped in my old buggy and drove 1 hour to Chantilly to complete mu negotiations.There I met Dwayne Butler who gave me an even better price on the vehicle. i am always concerned purchasing pre owned vehicles from VA and having to get them inspected. My last vehicle i purchased in VA was a nightmare. i was told by Bouch that the car was certified and if it had any issues Moore would take care of it. well the rear tires did not pass MD State inspection which is very strict since they only inspect the vehicle once. Mr. Butler first told me that Moore did not guarantee MD inspection, once he spoke with Bouch regarding our conversation Moore replaced the 2 rear tires. Melissa Robinson took care of the service with a great smile. overall i had a very satisfying experience with Moore thus far and would highly recommend them to my friends in the market for a vehicle. all the guy's in the finance department were great! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership's body shop. DO NOT take your car here! I can not speak for the service department or sales team, this review is based on on the body shop. My CTS was in an accident and it took them 6 weeks to complete the repair damage that should have only taken 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of my car sitting at their shop and no word from them, I decided to give them a call to figure out what was going on and how long it would take. They never contacted me, not even once. I was the one that had to continuously call them. They would give me an estimated finish date and on that date I would have to call to see if it was ready (because once again, they NEVER called me). The date was always pushed back due to the fact they ordered several wrong parts, extending the amount of time was car was at their shop. It almost felt like this was done on purpose so they could get the maximum amount from the insurance company. It just so happened my car was finished one day before the insurance estimator's deadline. You would think a "luxury car dealership" would be more efficient and helpful, seeing as though Cadillac owners spend more money on their cars than the average. After complaining to management several times and filing an official complaint with GE, I was offered a measly oil change for my inconvenience. They didnt even have the decency to vaccuum or wash my car like most places do after your car is serviced. Please, whatever you do, do not take your car to this dealership. My vehicle was picked up for an oil change from my home on Wednesday morning, and as of 9:00 pm that night, and after several unanswered phone calls, I discovered that my vehicle was returned but I was never notified. The complete lack of professionalism and common courtesy is absolutely appalling. How do you not notify your customer that her vehicle is ready and is being delivered? Moreover why would you tell my building concierge that you notified me the vehicle was back and then NOT call me to tell me it had been returned? I am simply horrified and furious over your laziness and incompetence. Don Kelly and your entire team should be absolutely ashamed. I left multiple message, and NO ONE called to follow up. I finally spoke with Audra Jackson on Thursday who apologized and indicated she would look into the matter and follow up with me. As of noon on Friday, I still have heard absolutely nothing. I'm so incredibly disappointed by the complete lack of consideration and professionalism. I wouldn't expect this from an organization that considers itself to be a luxury car dealership, or a customer-friendly and focused organization. This is just simply not how you treat people. And one final note- I still have not heard from Don Kelly who is my service advisor so while I would like to think the oil has been changed in my vehicle, I still have no documentation or detail about what services were performed. read more
