Steak and eggs with blue corn dusted tots.
    Kristie G.

My two cents: well worth skipping a drive elsewhere for breakfast. Due to COVID and the TX snowstorm 2/21 we decided to staycation for our anniversary. I searched YELP for the best breakfast place near the Westin that we were staying in. I always have to search because my husband has so many restrictions. I was excited because I knew there were so many great options within a few minutes drive. It kept coming back to this place IN OUR HOTEL, but it only had one review. I decided to look over the menu and the first things I saw included organic eggs and sustainable foods. I told my husband we weren't going anywhere expect downstairs. There were only 3 tables with people and we sat right at the window overlooking the golf course. By the time we were done it was just us. Quiet and comfy. My husband ordered the burnt end brisket hash and eggs. He hates tomatoes but said these blistered cherry heirlooms were delicious. I had the steak and eggs. Mostly because I really wanted to try the blue corn dusted tater tots. Don't think regular taster tots. These are fresh made and soft inside a crispy blue corn dusted layer. The flash fried greens were purple kale (may vary??) And it was really really good. I'm growing kale this year because of this dish. The only thing I would change was the over salting on the greens (I still ate them they were that good) and the fact that my paper menu had coffee spilled on it. Which means someone else had there COVID hands on it. I carry hand sanitizer so not a deal breaker for me, but might be for others. This is the only two things that kept it from a five. Service was good and if you read this review all the way through. Good for you....because here is a tip. 15% off your bill (minus alcohol) if you check in with YELP!!

Incredible view, creative breakfast menu and many must haves!! Definitely in my list for business breakfasts as the view is incredible and you can do your 930am call outside on the patio.

Water here many times as I stay at the Westin often. Try the steak & and eggs breakfast or Texas Benedict!

Had the burnt ends hash. A different take on the hash but all the flavor was there!

Had breakfast here yesterday. Food was spot on and tasted great. Had the burnt ends hash.

Oven roasted Turkey , Dr.Pepper glazed Salmon, Pecan Smoked Beef tenderloin and much more.

This is a late post but took families to their thanksgiving brunch and food was amazing! We are all picky eaters and even the kids absolutely loved the food .

The breakfast buffet was great !! We stopped in thinking it was a new restaurant not realizing it's part of the hotel.

I've…read morevisited many restaurants throughout Plano and Legacy West, and Haywire consistently stands out every single time. The atmosphere, scenery, food, and customer service are always top tier. I usually head to the third floor, which has become my favorite spot. During my recent visit, Fanny was absolutely amazing -- incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Her customer service truly elevated the experience. My go-to order is always the mini elk tacos with flour tortillas, and of course the mac and cheese, but this time I tried the queso and chips and it was divine -- rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I've had in a while. I paired everything with a Ranch Water and had such a relaxing evening. I returned again on Memorial Day and although the third floor was closed, the second-floor experience was just as exceptional. Lauren -- the one with the long dark hair -- was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. Ask for Lauren if you visit. She provided genuine hospitality and made the experience feel personal and welcoming. 10/10 every single time. Whether you live in Plano or you're simply visiting the area, Haywire is absolutely worth experiencing for yourself. The menu has a great variety, the ambiance is beautiful, and the consistency in service and food quality keeps me coming back.

I landed in Dallas and several people recommended this restaurant so here I am. Unfortunately, I'm on somewhat of a diet so this is going to be challenging. Several people have encouraged me to try their steak and of course and tons of other meats that look delicious, including Elk tacos. thankfully, they came through with Texas corn, spicy green beans and charred broccolini, as well as a house salad. Dessert looks delicious and I'm definitely planning to return. Pro-Tip. They have happy hours, get here early to experience the rooftop happy hour.

You have to seat yourself - there were enough vacant tables to pick from. Within a few minutes, our server was over and helped us narrow down on what we wanted to order. I went for a Crushed Velvet Mule in addition to Cali, Buffalo (both grilled versions) and Burg B Q. We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.

We walked into the bar 90 minutes before kickoff and found a table in the middle of the bar that could accommodate our party and had good viewing of the screens. As we went to sit down, a man approached us and told us that the table we were sitting at was for some "regulars" and asked us to move. The table had no sign on it that it was reserved and this man did not identify himself as an owner or manager of the establishment. Choosing to take the high road, I moved our group to another table that could accommodate our party that was off to the side. Sure enough, the "regulars" came rolling in shortly before kickoff to their "unreserved" reserved table. This is just bad business. And discourages people who are not "regulars" from coming to the bar. I regularly attend a Chicago Bears bar in Los Angeles where I live and have never had such issues. There are no unspoken "reserved" tables for "regulars." It's completely first come, first serve as it should be. If you want your "regulars" to have their table waiting for them when they arrive, just stick a reserved sign on it. Or tell them to get there early. Not difficult. We also waited forever for our drinks while the "regulars" at their "unreserved" reserved table were kept fully stocked. The service and the food was mid anyway and not worth the price. Trust me, I picked up what you were laying down. We aren't regulars, so it's whatever. I won't be back.
