When the rain started becoming an issue, he actually moved the umbrellas together to make sure Onyx had a dry spot. Really appreciated that. We started with a Bourbon Club and the Nitro Espresso Martini, then got the buffalo wings and she-crab soup. The wings can be grilled or fried and we went grilled, which was definitely the right call. Good char on them and I'd get them the same way again. The she-crab soup was also really good and perfect for a rainy afternoon. For lunch we had the French dip and the Reuben, and subbed the mac and cheese for one of the sides. Both sandwiches were solid, but the mac and cheese deserves a mention of its own. Definitely worth the substitution. Good food, good drinks, and especially good service from Kenny. Being able to hang out on the patio with our dog without the rain ruining lunch made the whole experience even better.

The small amounts of goat cheese were a nice touch as I don't enjoy large amounts as it is so rich. The vinaigrette was really a great flavor with the fish - very different! Thanks to the staff that allowed us to sit there for well over two hours so awesome to not be rushed, pestered or treated like we were an inconvenience. So, here's the scoop on Morton's at Reston Town Center. I walked in with the plan of just grabbing a couple of happy hour drinks and maybe some snacks. You know, a casual evening. But fast forward a few hours, and we're toasting with a bottle of wine, sipping cocktails, and diving headfirst into a full dinner! Talk about a plot twist! The ambience? Classic steakhouse vibes with a cozy bar area that makes you feel right at home. Perfect for those who want a little fancy without having to dress to the nines! The bartenders? Absolute gems! They were attentive and in high spirits, making sure our glasses were never empty. My dining partner ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection--seriously, that thing was a masterpiece! We met up at Morton's/Reston, VA - to gather over a cigar. The atmosphere and support for cigar camaraderie there is the best it gets before dropping 25k/year on cigar club membership. I organized the gathering and was thinking about the friendships and chance to get together - the venue was background, wasn't thinking about it all. That said, Edwin our server was a pleasant compliment to the surrounding and timed his service perfectly to keep us in good spirits. Our group was treated with 'over-the-top' white-glove experiences that the manager Scott Michael Harcup personally secured. He and the service staff, including the kitchen delivered beyond our expectations and even up to the point of closing the kitchen ensured that our table had perfect steaks ordered and prepared for us after the close. We will be back and will absolutely come for an evening of cigars and food again- I am about to send out invites to a dozen professionals in my network for our next Morton's evening event. I have visited several Morton's establishments, and I must say that the Reston location stands out as the finest. Zorah, in particular, was exceptionally knowledgeable, and it was evident that she genuinely enjoys her work. Her recommendations, from beverages to culinary selections, were impeccable. I began with her suggested lemon drop martini, while my husband opted for the State Street concoction. For our main course, we once again followed Zorah's advice and ordered the wagyu meatball, the wedge salad, and the Cajun ribeye. Every dish was absolutely delightful. Although I had intended to save room for dessert, I found myself quite full, so I chose the Key lime pie martini, another of Zorah's excellent recommendations. Used to go to Morton's in Reston Town Center but stopped for a while as other restaurants opened in the town center. Stopped by for the first time since they remodeled last year. The reception area is more open than before and the dinning room is more modern. Came in with my two kids and was surprised to find they do not offer kids menu. So we ordered fillet and the kids split it in two and the steak was cooked well and tender. Also ordered the Chicago style bone -in and had great flavors. The fries, used to be thick cut, is now the skinny kind which we preferred. The sauteed broccoli was very good. Definitely see the improvements but may not be a regular in absence of kids menu. read more

The upscale chain restaurant, located in the Reston Town Center, offers delicious food and wonderful service, and considering its prices, it really should. Still, even those who pay top dollar can sometimes get mistreated by a business, but if my personal experience is any indication, that probably won't happen to a Morton's diner. Speaking of which, if you're looking for a meal recommendation, I'd suggest the jumbo shrimp cocktail, followed by the filet mignon and the crème brûlée. read more

Every time I visit Morton's, I leave happy. The lobster bisque and French onion soup are both amazing. My filet is always cooked perfectly. And dessert is always good as well. What I really like is the amazing service. I personally drink and insane amount of water and this is one of the only places that always keeps my glass filled without asking. Leo was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Stunning service. the ambiance and as top tier walking in. We came at a beautiful time during the lunch time, and it was quiet and intimate. First time dining here for my birthday, and definitely the best. I usually prefer another restaurant but this one came out on top. Morton's at Reston continually provides excellent service and the highest quality food and the ambiance of a great steak house just like the original in Chicago. We can always count on a great steak, lobster and all the sides at each visit. Our favorite waiter Eddie is always so attentive and with the remainder of the staff including Mr. Sharma and the other managers always stand ready to make every visit excellent and keeping us looking forward to our next time. read more

We decided to come and have lunch at the bar while walking by. The female bartender was rude and slamming glasses and plates the entire time. She was friendly with a table behind us who were smoking "vape" inside. The place is cloudy with smoke from this "vape". I'm shocked that a Mortons would let them smoke inside around other customers and my 5 month old son. There are alot of better places to go spend this type of money at besides this Mortons. read more

My recent experience at the Reston location was most enjoyable. We were a group of five and the service was impeccable. Kudos to Cici Rodriguez who managed our luncheon event both efficiently and cheerfully. She took note of our dietary needs and adjusted our selections as needed. We celebrated our birthdays at Morton's The Steakhouse and had a fantastic experience. From the start, the manager Scott Michael (not Michael Scott ) went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Top-tier hospitality. The steaks were cooked perfectly, drinks were great, and the hot chocolate cake was an absolute must. Great service, great food, and a perfect spot for a special night. We had an outstanding dinner at Morton's, exceeding our expectations. Each course was fantastic, starting with their famous hot bread and cup of lobster bisque. The steaks are good, served the way you ordered them. The sides are not bad, however the prices were way to high for the kind of food you get. I went there with no intentions of spending over $100 for my meal. It was 4 of us and we ordered steaks but the whole meal was not a $448 meal, it just wasn't. I could have eaten much better and cheaper in other steak houses. read more

For entrees we got the Prime Bourbon Ribeye and Prime Ribeye. -The Prime Bourbon Ribeye was flavorful, however it was not tender as how you would expect a prime steak to be. And for how they market their steaks to be aged and even having the word "prime" in the name of the steak, it is severely missing it's mark. -The Prime Ribeye had the same issue of not being tender enough for a prime cut steak. -Chicken Tenders -Mac and Cheese The Service: We had no issues with our server, they were very nice but we noticed the way the service was setup, the servers had very little help. They bring out the bread, drinks, and food which takes away from them being able to check in on tables for needs. We never were asked for refills of our drinks and when we needed help our server was hard to flag down. Again, our server was very nice but the way the service is managed is not setting the servers up for success since so much is put on them. We will not be coming back here due to the service and lack of attention to details. The service level and food quality just isn't there for this type of restaurant. There are definitely better places out there.
