Mo's is a big win! My husband and his family are from New Jersey, and we were looking for tasty Italian food. Mo's is the real deal! The eggplant parmigiana is truly fresh and so very tasty! Their tomato sauce is delicious. My chicken florentine stromboli was delectable, stuffed with perfectly grilled chicken, roasted veggies, and melty, stringy mozzarella. We also had the fettuccine alfredo and a Philly cheesesteak sub, and those were delicious, too! Just to reiterate other reviewers, I can't believe I've never stopped in here with the several years my company has had an office down here. It was surprisingly good with a HUGE italian menu. It's like they took a fully functioning italian restaurant and converted it into a strip mall style shop. The food is incredibly delicious with huge, quality portions. I ordered a chicken alfredo special and for $7.99 I got a starter salad with it, half a loaf of garlic bread (no lie, it was a lot of garlic bread for 1 person) and the huge container of chicken alfredo. It was so freaking tasty, I really kind of ignored the salad because the smell coming from the alfredo was too enticing. Wow talk about not what I expected....it's hidden in a strip mall but lemme tell ya, this is some dang good Italian. The variety of pasta dishes is amazing and their appetizers are good too. The pizza is awesome. We love to get take out from here. One time they forgot a piece of pizza so when I went back they kindly just gave me 2 desserts for my troubles. First time here 8/16/2019, take out around 6pm. Staff was fantastic, helpful, friendly, but not annoying. FOOD was beyond expectations and in 2 bites (not 1 only cause you thought your mind/taste buds were messing with you) hands down best pizza ever!!! We ordered the "Sinatra", ate so much cause it was so amazingly good. We also ordered the eggplant, which was cooked to perfection, not over cooked and not under cooked, and I'm not a huge eggplant fan, but this could be my new favorite. Also portions are generous especially for the price... $10 for the eggplant which came with some angle hair pasta, marinara and a melt in your mouth buttery bread knot. I love the food and when my son selected them to cater his wedding i was thrilled. It was honestly the worse decision. They are not able to cater events. However, i did not realize this until it was over. The agreement was 200 people about $10,400, not bad. They get there and the glasses for water and tea not filled, ok we can get it because it was buffet, but they had two smaller containers For all the guest.I am getting nervous but ok. I looked up the bartender was gone. I spoke with them the next day they apologized and said she had an emergency and had to leave. They said but if someone would have went to the bar we would have served them, duh did you think about announcing that the bar was still open? The manager informed my son during the reception that he made an error on the contracted amount and did not include gratuity so my son owed an addition$1200.00. I paid it so my son's reception would not be impacted who does this? I can go on but i will not and the sad thing is the food was tasty, the logistics and professionalism was not on point. read more

I discovered this place because I wanted a good eggplant parmesan. I also ordered a whole veggie pizza and garlic bread a few weeks ago. When I arrived I added a slice of cheesecake. All good so I placed another order today for the same items with 2 other dishes and cheesecake. They decided to make veggie Stromboli and no pizza. They did not have cheesecake today and offered cake. I placed my order this morning, she checked my order and confirmed they got it wrong. To get the pizza was another 15 to 20 minute wait, but it was an hour for my initial pickup time. I have class so I can't wait. Long story short, the Stromboli is nothing compared to pizza. It's a glorified hot pocket with slits in the bread and the bottom was soggy. First time and last. I was very unimpressed and hugely upset. Don't just make anything that says veggie. You have all my contact info if you are unsure. Don't allow an unavailable item to show as available. Don't wait until I arrive to say you don't have it. Contact me prior to if need be. A terrible experience made this my second and last visit. Too many other great Italian restaurants out there with better service. read more

I made an order through Uber Eats and when I realized I received the wrong salad l did an Uber Eats rating only to be told they aren't refunding me and to contact the restaurant. While I don't agree I called the restaurant and spoke to Lucy which stated they can't give me a refund either but I can bring the salad in and they will give me the correct one. So you mean to tell me you want me to drive...I ordered uber eats so I wouldn't have to drive...duh!!! I really can't believe that I ignored this place for so long... The name kind of put me off and made me think of those really crappy pizza joints that open up in malls. This is definitely NOT mall pizza! My mother and I were out taking a mental health break from a project I was working on and walking around in the sunshine, doing a bit of people-watching and stopping in a few of the shops. We thought about dropping in the Diner, but the crowd we would see through the heavily tinted windows at Italia Express drew us in. Mom got the Greek salad, and I got the spinach salad, then we got a slice of veggie pizza to share. Holy crap. It was sooooooooooo good. The pizza slice was huge with a crispy crust, gooey cheese and fresh veggies. We plowed through it in almost no time while waiting for the salads to come out. For $5.95, you get a huge, beautiful salad heaping with all sorts of deliciousness. I say beautiful because they really pay attention to detail and give you something that looks almost as amazing as it tastes. I could barely finish the salad with somehow attained almost the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It had kalmata olives, pepperoncini peppers, candied pecans, sun-dried tomatoes, crispy bacon, gorgonzola cheese, cherry peppers, red onions, cucumbers and raspberry vinaigrette. So. Freakin'. Good. Since Jimmy's in Duncanville has gone from amazing to sub-par, I think this will be my new pizza/pasta joint when I want delicious and reasonably priced Italian food. read more

I was originally going to knock this puppy down to 2 stars but decided to give 3 because of the extenuating circumstances involved with my visit (wife+daughter liked their food). Pasta dishes seem to be the favorite here although the salads I saw being delivered to other tables looked absolutely fantastic. I decided to go for pizza based on other reviews here and was exited to get my "thin" on for some NY Style pie. Disappointment ensued.... First of all - there's only 1 size of pizza. 18' Large. You could go with individual slices but I'm not a fan of reheated pie and prefer to get the toppings I want - not what's available and pre-baked. Second of all - if you're going to call a topping Sausage - use Sausage. Italia Express uses a product called "sausage flavored pork topping" which are these little (they come frozen) nuggets of god-knows-what which are processed, formed and flavored with tons of salt and a total lack of flavor. This says a lot about how much they value the quality (cough-cheap-cough) of their pizza. Positive notes however - they didn't skimp on the cheese (costliest part of pizza), they cooked it directly on the oven stone (many places use screens or conveyers) and service was fast and friendly. If I go back, it'll be to try a delicious salad or some pasta. If you're looking for a taste of NY, I would go elsewhere read more
