Their printed coupons advertise large pizzas for $7.99 on Mondays with no mention of any time that day they are valid. When I went to Mo's on Monday the counter waitress told me the offer was only good after 5PM. I didn't have the ad with me to show to her so I came back 2 and a half hours later and ordered two large pizzas. When I asked the waitress how much toppings were she quoted ".54 cents." When she printed out the receipt she charged me $1.95 for each topping. The attitude of the staff about honoring their coupon and jacking up the topping prices was surly to put it mildly. I didn't appreciate the hassle and the 2 and a half hour wait to make my purchase. If Mo's owner(s) or managers are going to have 'coupon remorse' about honoring their own coupons, they shouldn't run them in the first place. read more

The person who took my delivery order might be the rudest person I've ever dealt with, I'm truly sorry for inconveniencing you by calling to order some food. I have to agree with the people who complained about the crust. I love a good artisanal pizza and seek them out in Seattle. We ordered the onion and bacon pizza and were very, very disappointed. Now I don't mind a char on the pizza crust, but when Mo's pizza arrived at the table, the bottom crust was burned and most of the edges around the pizza were too black. Also, I was disappointed in the taste of the pizza. The sauce is not remarkable, the bacon must have been bacon bits because we could not find an actual piece, and the onions were barely cooked. Compared with other pizzas in Seattle, the flavors were weak. We told the server that we thought the pizza was too burned, and she smiled and walked away. I also have to criticize the basic salad for $7.00. It was just lettuce, a little red cabbage, and some cheese tossed on top. I thought it was overpriced since we weren't paying for, say, real table service since we placed our own order at the bar or plate washing since the restaurant offers paper plates. The big, plastic bucket of water for self-service is not particularly inviting. I was glad the wine was served in real glasses and not plastic cups. I would have given the restaurant one star, but everyone working was generally very nice, we were greeted warmly when we arrived. If I were to return, and I probably won't, I would ask for a lighter hand on the cooking of the pie. read more

My issue is that I don't get a friendly vibe at all and I've checked out with the same short haired brunette disheveled woman over 5 times and I'm someone you'd remember (not being vain...lol). Easy to overlook, Mo's pizza offers a delicious pizza made with great ingredients. The salad's were addictive and very, very good for a pizza joint. I ate my pizza on the patio - there's not much on the inside where you order. If you're looking for a change from Papa John's, try Mo's to-go. Just be sure to get a salad with your pizza. I really like the combination here. Pizza fans alone won't be raving about the pies, but taken as a whole, the place serves better food than mellow mushroom in my opinion. read more

It seemed I walked in and was looked at like "go away" - I ordered and was told to sit and wait 10 minutes- fine, then drops pizza off and never saw her again, walked by me 4 or more times and never a refill or how's your food. I used to go to Mo's when i was a little kid, and it's kind of weird to go back now and see the same faces. It's the spot for trivia Wednesday nights (at least for us). The pizza at this place is pretty good. But the customer service is horrible. I called in and ordered a single slice of pizza to pick up. I was told 15 minutes. I get there 20 minutes later and told they're backed up and it was not ready. The lady at the register ran my card and said she'd go back and make it herself. Then she comes BACK out, says it's not gonna happen, reaches in the tip jar and gives me cash back. Then I get a half-assed "Sorry, sir." Really? This is not the first time the customer service here sucked. I once called and was just flat hung up on. The older woman who takes orders and runs the register is very rude. If she doesn't like her job, get another. I may have only been ordering a single slice, but the treatment was un-believable! Will never go back. Where to start? First off, one of the chefs took my order, and towards the end he stopped me and told me he needed to get back in the kitchen and was handing me off to a server. I then needed to give my order again to a woman with attitude. When the delivery person arrived at my hotel, the front desk called me and asked if I would like to send him up or me come down. I chose to go down and meet him in the lobby. Front desk told him to wait but he decided he would go up anyway. When I got to the lobby he was nowhere to be found so I went back to my room. When I then got back up to my room he was standing at my door, handed me the receipt to sign and then tells me to "leave big tip" as he is pointing to where I should leave the tip. I decide to leave him a $3 tip where he then told me "no no no sir... That is not enough tip! You leave me big tip!" I mean, the balls on this little Mexican! As for the food, I had chicken wings and pizza. Both were mediocre in taste and quality. Based on that alone, I would not go back. Lastly got charged for 12 wings but ordered only 6. I would stay away from this place. If I was the owner, I would seriously reconsider a lot of your employees and hire people who appreciate your company through action and attitude. read more

I have a hard time finding much that separates this pizza from Papa John's or any other mediocre chain. I tried several different varieties of pie - veggie, ham and pineapple, margherita - since they delivered to a birthday I went to. It's about what you'd expect: chewy crusts, plasticky cheese, low quality ingredients, and a general indifference towards preparation. Their wings, which I tried in buffalo and lemon pepper, are actually not bad. They're crisped on the outside and juicy on the inside with enough, but not too much, seasoning. My family and I had been customers of this place for six years. While the food always is good to very good, the service is spotty, with them occasionally loosing orders (three times over six years either most of out party had their order lost or the entire party did). Yesterday it took 25 minutes for them to produce two slices of pizza during lunch time. When my sister complained, the owner became surly and belligerent, scaring my 87 year old mother who started crying. He later stated that my sister was not welcomed back. All because she dared complain about his poor service. I've shared this experience with my facebook friends, many of whom live near this establishment. None of my family (six of whom were regular customers and 12 more have been customers less frequently ) are going to give this place our business. I request, for the owner's sake, you refrain from frequenting this establishment until the owner learns the importance of good customer service. read more

The price might be right but the quality could be better. I think I have freely admitted that I am a pizza snob in other posts - and enjoy Antico, Tartufo and anything close to NYC style I can find (Corner Pizza, Piu Bella, even Mellow Mushroom). With that, the best of the slice was the crust. It was average. The sauce -- tomato paste on steroids (it did have some tomato chunks...) and the mozzarella....the worst part of the pizza. I at first thought it was part-skim....but after a little cooling...I think it was some sort of blend or mozzarella food product (akin to Kraft Slices). It got really rubbery. Mo's had a crowd at lunch so I suppose it is filling some people's pizza cravings but I will go elsewhere. read more

Mo's is odd. It's my local spot being a mile from the house and gets the job done. I never crave it, but when I get it - I'm always satisfied. It has a dated early-80's charm on the inside. I opted for a sandwich this time and was thoroughly underwhelmed by the offering. The chicken parm which should be easy and quick. It was quick but it wasn't chicken parm! Slapping a grilled chicken breast on an undersized kaiser roll that is swimming in sauce and congealed cheese is NOT chicken parm!! Ordered a slice of cheese pizza to go. Right when I was about to take a bite, I smelled something rancid. I sniffed around the whole slice of pizza. The right side of the pizza smelled that way, like old mop water. Very unsanitary! I don't think I will ever be able to trust them.
