My husband and I stopped inside the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to meet a friend on a Friday evening around 6:00 P.M. This was my first time in a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in awhile! When we had entered, we were the only customers inside. The coffee shop was decorated for Halloween! There was so many amazing decorations from skeletons to Halloween themed holiday lights. It was quite festive! Looking over the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Menu, there was a wide range of offerings such as Signature Tea Lattes Cold Brew Teas Signature Teas Ice Blended Drinks Cold Brew Coffee Coffee and more! If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has some small bites! There was some Yogurt, Sandwiches, Wraps, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, Doughnuts and more! I ended up getting a Medium Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and my husband got a caramel drink. Service was fast. After we placed the order, our name was called within 10 minutes. I enjoyed my hot chocolate. It wasn't too hot so I could immediately drink it! The chocolate flavor wasn't a dark chocolate. It was a milk chocolate and delicious! I tried my husbands caramel drink and it was good. There was a slight hint of coffee to it. Service was fantastic at this place and the drinks we had were wonderful! We don't come to the Summerlin area too often, but this place is great for some coffee! read more

Beleaf me, Italia is so awesome!! My girlfriends and I came by after eating in the area and CBTL was our spot to continue the gabbing and laughing with their outdoor tables to enjoy the fall weather! Italia kindly helped us and gave me great recommendations on the teas with the least amount of caffeine. Italia has great customer service skills and knows what's up: The vegan chocolate banana bread and brownie have to be heated up to be enjoyed as it was meant to be! (Side note: Those desserts are so good here!! Must gets)! I wanted to leave a tip for Italia but the POS machine doesn't give that option and I had no cash on me. :( This review will have to do for now and hopefully they will change their POS to allow for a tipping option. One of the worst things you could do in customer service is to not fully read and address your customer's issues and concerns. I've been a loyal customer at your Canyon Point location for 12 years and a rewards member for over 7 years. My experiences have been mostly positive but last week I was cheated out of my birthday reward. The Canyon Point store said there was nothing they could do to help me, despite my showing them my Birthday email that I had received a few days before. The email advised me that if I qualified, a free drink reward would be added to my account in the app. I did qualify but the reward never showed up. Since the store "couldn't" help, I asked for the number to corporate, which also turned out to be helpless because a recording instructed me to submit an online request. I was unable to speak to anyone. In that request, I had explained the issue and cited examples showing that I had met all the qualifications for the reward. It was evident from the scripted response, that my email had not been read thoroughly because it was basically a rehashing of what was required in order to receive the reward. That was it. In my reply, I again stated that I had in fact, met all the requirements. You then proceeded to tell me that after reviewing my account, you could see that I had redeemed a "Customize Your Drink for Free" reward using some of my points on May 10th but it showed my last purchase was back in February. My immediate thought was that it didn't make any sense...I would not have been able to use the 'customization' reward without having purchased a drink first. The customization was free, NOT the drink, so that would not have been allowed. Not only did I question this ridiculousness, but I even attached a screenshot from my online bank account showing that I had absolutely made a purchase at Coffee Bean on that very same date (May 10th) where you show that I had redeemed those customization points! Your next response again, clearly failed to address my issue and questions. Instead, you again robotically spewed out the same requirements that were needed. Do you actually read the emails?! Is customer satisfaction no longer a priority for Coffee Bean? Is $10 really worth losing a longtime customer over? Do better CBTL! read more

The area is super nice, close to Costco. Parking was easy and staff was friendly. I was helped immediately and my drink was delicious. There's a good amount of seating indoor and outdoor. Everything was clean, which I always appreciate! read more

Easy in and easy out. Conveniently located in the Plaza across from Costco in Summerlin. The staff are welcoming as they greet each patron upon arrival to the store. If you're not sure about something or want helpful suggestions. Then don't hesitate to ask the staff. They're really good at recommending drinks and pastries. There are tables in the inside where you can sit and work. Additionally, they have tables with umbrellas on the patio. You can even purchase your favorite tea to have at home or the office. I've been coming to this Coffee Bean location at Canyon Point (Charleston Blvd) almost daily, but after this last visit, I won't be returning. Despite being a Purple Tier member and using the official CBTL app, the staff refused to honor any rewards, citing vague issues with management. When I mentioned other locations honor them, they flat-out told me, "They shouldn't be doing that," which was both dismissive and confusing. I later confirmed that other stores DO accept app rewards, which makes this even more frustrating. On top of that, my drinks were prepared incorrectly twice. When I asked for a fix, the barista gave me attitude and still didn't make it right. I ended up wasting over $30 on drinks I couldn't enjoy. I later learned this may be a franchised location, but that doesn't excuse them from providing consistent service across the brand, especially when they benefit from the Coffee Bean name and app. If you're looking for a location that respects loyal customers and honors the rewards program, I suggest going elsewhere. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. read more

I have been meaning to update this review for quite sometime. This has become my go to coffee/tea shop for a while specifically as I enjoy their Matcha Tea Lattes and summer time teas. I recently had a great experience here and must share. While I was away on my birthday, I received my free birthday drink coupon via email. The freebie was available for only three days. I was out of state at the time and the state I was in (Florida) does not have Coffee Bean. When I got home, I was craving my favorite drink so I went in. I decided to ask them if they would honor the free drink even though it had expired. At first, I was told no as they needed to see the coupon/email. I responded that I understood but just thought I would ask. I patiently waited for my drink and to my surprise when I received the drink I was told by the manager that the drink was free and they were going to honor the offer. They told me that I am a good customer and they wanted me to have the drink. This made me feel valued and appreciated and in this day and age how often does this happen?? The ice is shaped more like pellets than cubed or crushed. Very unique. Sorry, I lost all my pictures from my second visit... Atmosphere - Good size coffee shop. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Service - Good, the manager was on the register during both our visits. I like how the name of the manager was on the door. Just walking into this location was so nice! It was clean and orderly. The 3 employees I interacted with were helpful and as sweet as my seasonal Tokidoki Chocotella drink (that's a good thing, lol). Atrocious Customer Service! We came here to grab coffee while we do some shopping in the area. This location has the worst employee etiquette I have ever experienced. Location: This location is in a plaza with other businesses. Parking: There is parking available in this lot as well as a drive thru option. Coffee: We ordered the cookie butter latte and an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. They were both good. Service: Terrible. These employees have no sense of urgency when it comes to making orders in a timely manner. On top of time management issues with getting orders out, they have not a care in the world for the customers either. From the Worlds Sweetest Barista taking my order to the 32 OUNCE coffee I ordered, to the the same sweet barista in the drive through just asking about my plans for the day with this amazing long hair. Friendly fast service . The dark roast coffee was perfection. The strawberry scone was quite honestly terrible. It tasted like a strawberry pop tart full of artificial colors and ingredients. I also asked for it to be heated and it wasn't. My husband got an everything bagel and it was good. However for a place that is this nice you would think they would put the cream cheese on the bagel. Both food and drink were delicious although I am not necessarily sure the chai and banana bread go together, but that was the order's fault - not the coffee shop's!
