Absolutely a great experience picking up a rented motorcycle getting some installation help with some parts. Good advice great facility, If I lived in San Francisco I'd be hanging out there a lot! Definitely my go to place.

Great place for riders of all ages and experience levels to gain a deeper knowledge of working on their motorbikes. Alex and crew are patient, seasoned and efficient at helping you repair and maintain your bike. Tools and equipment are provided as well as various lubes and smaller items. I replaced the swing arm and chain on my bike this weekend and it's never felt better! Surely, shops charge 2x and you learn nothing --and can't inspect the work in-progress. Moto Guild is the way to go!

Really amazing folks that work in this joint. It's a beautiful place that has everything ya need to take care of your loved one. Tons of lifts, tools, and knowledge to boot. Don't have a garage? You don't need one. You have this gorgeous place. Everything you need to tackle any job you need to do. I've traveled across the country and I'll tell ya, there aren't many places like this. Utilize this gem and support it with everything you got. Getting older you really understand that you absolutely need to take stock in the good businesses that do something positive for the two wheeled community! Get going!

Once in a while I revive my Yelp account when I feel very strongly about a business. I've been riding for 15 years and had several bikes but always took the easy route to pay a shop to do whatever was needed (even replace stock mirrors with after market!) because from 1 to 10, my mechanics skills are about -3. I ordered a new exhaust system not knowing that no shop in California would replace it because it's "not quite legal". Whatever. But the only option was to do it myself. Since I didn't even know what was the difference between a nut and a bolt, I am SO glad one of the shops I went to recommended Moto Guild! Craig's infinite patience with me was greatly appreciated guiding me every step of the way to 1. replace my entire exhaust system and 2. do an apparently much needed oil change. So in ~3 hours I went from zero to hero thanks to Moto Guild. Ok not quite, but at least I now know the difference between a nut and a bolt. Baby steps maybe, but like, baby elephant steps! (I'll definitely sign up for their maintenance 101 workshop when there's one available)

Here's what stood out though: instead of feeling like it was time to dip out after the test ride, I ended up staying there for several hours just talking. Not because anyone was trying to "sell" me something the moment I walked through the door, but because they were genuinely great to talk to. I mostly worked with Josh and also spoke with the manager (super chill and easygoing) and a couple of other employees. At no point did I get the sense of "this is what YOU need." Instead, it felt more like, "Here are some options, let's talk bikes," with a few jokes thrown in along the way. In the end, I went with a different bike that they didn't sell. But the experience still left me wanting to support this shop any way I can. They have plenty of bikes that a great for most riders in the city, a knowledgeable staff, and fair pricing. Thanks to Joshua for the knowledge, help, and great conversation.

All the times I have been at this location, the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable for the gear that I am looking at. I took some time to try on different helmets as it was time for me to replace my older helmet. The female staff member approached me and kindly offered some selections of helmets, adding the benefits of each. I used to also go to their old location north of 84 on El Camino, and I am extremely glad they moved to this location. Much larger space and very modern look for a Cycle Gear. Parking is also very easy as there is plenty of space in the back lot but also some easy parking right in front of the store. Thank you once again!

I am a big guy 6.5 260 and I did no see any Jackets that fit me. Most of what I saw capped out at large. But they do have plenty on line. I would like go spend more time browsing there but the sales reps are on you like glue. I imagine most folks like that so not faulting them for it. I personally just don't like being asked questions when I am looking at stuff. Sometimes one is not interested - just curious. If I say I don't need help I like to be left alone, not monitored, and if I have a question I will ask. But all in all - great store.
