I called Guy up this morning and was lucky to be fit into what I'm sure is a busy schedule. Guy gave me an ETA, diagnosed the problem quickly upon arrival, and was extremely thorough in making sure everything was working well. Within ten minutes, my house was back around 73 degrees from a sweltering 80 before he arrived. All fees were upfront, honest, and very reasonable. The bigger project was the installation of 2 exhaust/air intake vents through our roof for the installation of a portable A/C unit in our loft. We called several companies to come out and repair and none had techs available. We called a friend to come take look at our furnace in the middle the night as we scrambled to buy all of the portable heaters that Walmart had. He came by, he is a great handyman but could not get it working. The next day, a reputable company came out to give us estimate for repair/replace and the tech/sales guy was great. But the prices... we were quoted $1,000.00 -$1,200.00 for repair, with no warranty on the furnace, just the part replaced (it was either the computer or the heat exchanger. Either part was upwards of $800 for the part plus install and not sure which one it was so we may have had to do both!) We also received a quote for a new one for $5,300.00!!! Our handyman recommended we call Edgar Diaz. He came right away and quoted me LESS THAN HALF of the above price for the same HIGH EFFICIENCY FURNACE (92% efficiency) for a Bryant furnace with full factory warranties. I looked it up in the internet and it had just as good reviews as the TRANE that we were replacing. We gave him the OK and had a new furnace installed and fully functional and WONDERFULLY warm house the next morning! Edgar is an old school gentleman. Soft spoken. Honest. And delivered on his word. Extremely happy with the work, install, and equipment installed. He even re-wired the humidifier and water pump. I highly recommend Edgar. Restores faith in honesty on the trades.

It served us well but had developed gas leaking valves that could not be replaced. Airtech was contacted because they had installed baseboard heating in the basement some years ago and did a good job. Airtech was out the next day after the initial call. They assessed the old unit and the following day had a new Carrier boiler installed in 6 hours. Superpro job, the new boiler kicks and heats up the house in no time. Though it was an expensive installation, I am very happy with the work and friendly crew which did a great great job. My only criticism is that they left a bit of a mess around the boiler and back steps. But this was minor. It's a reliable company- highly recommend

I contacted him prior to Christmas for a second opinion on a furnace. Originally, I was told the furnace needed to be replaced but Priority said it was an issue regarding airflow. At this time I am still unsure as to what the actual problem is as no work has been done. It was not an emergency nor urgent but it did take him over four weeks to finally get to our house. There were missed appointments, a lack of follow through and very poor communication. He missed a scheduled appointments, missed stopping by on a Saturday as he had promised and had issues with a broken windshield that prevented him from showing up. The problem has not been resolved as yet but I have decided to tackle the problem myself. I will pay the invoice he sent me today but will not be calling him again. While my issue was not an emergency, it still deserved an appropriate response like any other customer would receive. UPDATE: Two minutes after posting this review I have both a text message and a voicemail from the company asking to resolve the issue. I wish this offer had come sometime during the previous month during which I've had no contact from him at all.

Tom had 3 other jobs before us, but when he finished early he gave us a call saying that he'll be able to come earlier. He arrived right on time, put on shoe covers to make sure our floors are kept clean, and went straight to work. In about 5 minutes he was able to figure out the cause, and after 15minutes he was able to fix it. The job was done right and the price was fair. He knows his stuff and even our 20+yr old furnace. We signed a contract for $16,000, expecting a professional and reliable service. At the start, there were 2-3 workers on site, but they soon stopped showing up regularly. When I asked for updates, I received vague and inconsistent explanations. Work resumed sporadically, but progress remained minimal. There were also serious concerns about professionalism. Workers were smoking in our basement and around the property, and empty beer cans were frequently left behind. This created an uncomfortable and unacceptable environment in our home. Despite having already paid more than half of the contract upfront, the team completed only about a quarter of the agreed-upon work. At that point, the owner demanded an additional $5,000 and stated they would walk off the job if we refused. When we referred back to the signed contract, he began disputing items that were clearly included--such as the electric stove and cooktop--even though we had documentation and prior discussions confirming this. After being presented with proof, he shifted his reasoning, citing increased costs and business expenses. Those are not the customer's responsibility. We ultimately involved the City's Department of Building and Electrical in an effort to resolve the situation. While the work completed met code requirements, the broader dispute remains unresolved. The owner attempted to deflect blame by mischaracterizing our conduct, which was both inaccurate and disappointing. This situation has now escalated into a civil case as we pursue recovery of our funds. If you value reliability, transparency, and professionalism, I recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, this is not a company I would trust with my home.

We caught them smoking weed at the worksite, arriving late , and several mistakes where done. It's not the client responsibility to keep the employees in check and if they cost you more than you calculate - don't try to extort your client, own up to it and be a business owner. When Jonathan couldn't extort more money, he decided to leave the project in a very bad condition and not return to finish anything. We had several electricians come by to try to finish his job and many refusing even giving a quote due poor craftsmanship done by Alambre's crew. We have a ton of documentation backing our claims and poor craftsmanship done. Stay away from this company if you're doing any home / residential work - as they will try to scam you, even with a detailed contract, several site inspections and calls with architects on the scope.
