Ive eaten here a couple times lately because they have that deal where on Tuesdays you get any large pizza 40% off. What really iritates me about this place is that first of all its not great pizza and they dont let you do substitutions. I wanted to get ham instead of ground beef on my combo pizza and the guy told me they cant do it because they dont have a button for it and he could only add the topping for me and charge me extra for it. WHAT!? Way to make your customers happy fucker! Then as im leaving i ask for a side of ranch and he tells me its 50 cents .. plus tax! WHAT!? I was there last night for the Wed. night dinner buffet. I showed up about 6 PM & there should have been several pizzas to chose from. Much to my surprise there were NONE to eat. Interesting, a pizza buffet with no pizza but plenty of salad. I told the counter girl I'd like 2 pizzas made (a friend was coming soon) but she was overruled by the bearded middle eastern lookin' guy who said no, only 1. Love this place. Go here frequently for the lunch buffet! Since there isn't that many people here during lunch, the pickings are slim but the manager is hella cool. He has pretty good customer service plus he asks if you want anything special whereas not all the employees will let you request a pizza. read more

I usually don't care for large franchises when it comes to pizza, but decided to stop by here since I was in the neighborhood. I thought the pizza was superb the salad bar was all fresh and has a lot of variety. Pizza is ok, mountain mikes is much better off gateway oaks. Salad bar is basically large pieces of old lettuce and toppings they use for pizza. Generic ranch. Tried instead of mark n Monica's, won't make that mistake again read more

Went there tonight. The place smells kind of funky..maybe a mold issue? The pizza is really good. Loaded with toppings, the large seems to have shrunk an inch or so. Price was OK with a cpn. Over half the tables were dirty, and left empty. Business was brisk, but there was down time when they could have been cleared. It was around 5:30, pm, only one guy sitting and watching football, no idea how long the tables were dirty. Another group had to request they come and clear a dirty table so their very large party could all sit together. Watch your change if you pay cash. All in all, I try to frequent businesses in my community, but sorry, I will be trying a different Mt Mike's next time. negative outweighed positive. read more

I really love this place. There food is so delicious and very good price. I always go here on 40 percent off Tuesdays so cheap. I would recommend you guys to try out this place. As for their staff I went here last week there was a guy I think like 16 or 17 years old took my order very nice and friendly he asked me everything what I need and I think he's a great employee as for the others they are also seemed super nice and friendly. read more

Very poor customer service. This business closes at 10pm, I just called at 9:38 and they answered the phone "Mountain Mikes we are closed." I questioned this as they clearly state they are open until 10pm and the employee was very dismissive and I took it as he simply wanted to get off work and didn't want to comply with the job in which he was hired to do. Very upsetting as I love Mountain Mikes pizza, fortunately I was able to call Round Table (which also closed at 10) and they were very friendly and took my order for my pizza. Such a shame that this man had such a poor customer service interaction with me that I will no longer order from Mountain Mikes again. Do not recommend. read more

I really wish I didn't have to give any stars at all! I used to love going here with my family. But tonight when I called to order for delivery the manager told me I couldn't use my coupon for delivery. I bought a coupon card from Del Campo High School and have used it so many times for delivery pick up and dine in. I was about to tell them that I would just pick it up and he got all crazy with me. He was acting like a Punk teenager and not the manager. When I asked to talk to the owner because I wasn't ok with the way he was talking to me he told me "I am the owner now what " I couldn't believe it. he was saying thing like yo what do u want. I was so shocked!!!! When I told him that I can't believe that u the owner would talk to your customers like this he told me Ya we'll get over it. I came here because we had a 40% off coupon, I usually really like the pizza. I called an order in for pick up, and when I got there the girl at the counter was on the phne. She didn't even acknowledge that I had walked in and was standing right in front of her face. The older man who works there also walked by and didn't say one thing to me. I waited for about 7 minutes for the girl to get off the phone. I ordered a pizza and cheese bread, she open the bread and said, oh this isn't what you wanted is it? I said no I wanted cheese bread, not bread sticks. She said oh okay, it'll be about 5 minutes. I went and sat down for over 10 minutes and waited. By the time I finally got home my pizza was ice cold, and not very good either. Overall this was a really bad experience and I don't think ill be going back there for quite a while. Mark and monicas is way better, fresher, and have better service. That is where ill be going from now on. read more

Hey Mike, you missed it at this location. I normally choose Mountain Mikes Pizza when there is one nearby. However, I will not return to this location. The salad bar was weak with minimal choices. The salad was nasty and I only ate about three bites. The pizza was not fresh. I was with another individual at lunch and they stated the same thing about the food. I called in an order for pickup. When I got there, there was a man in his late 40s maybe 50s with a grey handle-bar mustach waiting at the counter to be helpful. I am in my early 20s and definitely look it. The guy at the counter carried on a conversation with me while I waited for my pizza. Whatever no big deal. I took the pizza home, it was really good (which is what the stars are for). A few days later, my phone rings at 9 pm. I was in bed and didn't recognize the number. I usually wouldn't answer it but my boyfriend thought it was weird that a weird number was calling me so late, so I answer it, and it's the old guy from Mtn Mikes! He got my number from their computer! Talk about so f*ckin creepy! I have never in my life had an experience like that. I changed my number the next day and I will never order from this store again. I am quite surprised by the average or below average rating on Yelp, hence, why I am writing this review. I have had this pizza on several occasions now, and it has been consistently good: generous toppings, good crust--not too thin or thick and maintains crunch--very tasty all around. It was such a surprisingly good experience the first time, I have ordered from other Mountain Mike locations. The McKinley specialty pizza is especially tasty! This location runs a great special on Tuesdays. I mostly get take out but the dining area is average with a couple large TVs, booths, and big tables. read more

Yes, "Eek! Methinks not." Service is slow. Took 50 minutes for the pizza to be done and when we ordered, there were only 2 other tables with people at them. Never, ever again. Another area restaurant that can't get the order right! Hubby's pepperoni was done right, but my calzone was French bread pizza that tasted disgusting. I could only eat two of the six small pieces and it cost $6 - $1 a piece - outrageous. Stouffer's French bread pizza from the grocery store is much better. Not going back there. read more

We just had the most horrible experience from Mountain Mike's at 4151 Manzanita. We ordered a pizza for delivery, was advised it would be 45 minutes which seemed reasonable since it was 5:00 PM on a very hot Sunday evening. An hour and 15 minutes later, no pizza, I called and was advised the delivery person was walking out the door with our pizza (we live less than 5 minutes away). After another 25 minutes, still no pizza, I called again and this time was told by the same service person, Lillie, that the pizza had not been made yet. She said they would start it right away. I asked her to cancel the pizza and requested to speak with the manger. I was put on hold several times (a total of 7 minutes). She returned to the phone and told me they would make the pizza and give me a complimentary appetizer. I was astonished. Again, I asked to speak to the manager, and was told there was no manager in the store and she would cancel the pizza. I then asked for a refund, and she said it would be processed in a few days. I asked for names of the onsite manager, and store manager/owner. Again, on hold - finally advised me the managers were "Harvey and Kamel and Jake" she said they were unavailable and there was nothing she could do. I told her that we were coming the restaurant and to get our money, and she replied "good, you could then pick up our pizza". REALLY! We went to the restaurant, no cars in the parking lot, absolutely not one customer in the store, and least 5 people working. Lillie cheerfully greeted us and asked how she could help. When she realized who I was, the onsite manager took over, and asked if he could help me. When I relayed our experience, he said there was nothing he could do and he could not refund our money. But, he could make our pizza. Was I being "punked"? I demanded a refund and for him to get the manager/owner on the phone. He repeated he could not refund our money. He finally called the manager, "Harvey" who refused to take our call. We were miraculously given a refund. No apology and he appeared to be irritated because we were upset. The service there was by far the worst I have ever experienced and not once did they try some type of service recovery. No CUSTOMER should receive or expect this type of service from an establishment that we are giving our money too. We will NEVER give our business to any Mountain Mike's establishment. read more

Best pizza quality of all Sacramento Mountain Mikes. Recently went and gladly seen they traded in the old cashier girl for a new one. She made me and my family feel welcome as soon as we walked in with a smile and a hello. Very helpful customer service, the pizza was out very fast with such good quality, and may I add how CLEAN it was. I will gladly be coming back. I would recommend this place to any one. read more

My wife and I are slowly working our way through the Mountain Mike's menu. We go on 40% off Tuesday's - which is great. The Pizza is good and the service has been excellent. Go for the thin crust - it's great. We have grown tried of the regular crust on most pizzas - too much bread and you feel "bogged" down quickly. read more
