Ordered a Snowy Alps, which is my regular in SD. It generally comes with chopped tomatoes and green onions sprinkled on top, which is my favorite part. I have to say, their pizza is very good. The price is higher than most. I understand that prices have gone up, But!! We ordered 3 medium pizzas. One was just cheese no sauce, one pepperoni and pineapple and one Everest. One order of garlic cheese sticks and 5 soft drinks. The total was over $100. We used their coupons also as they suggest. It obviously didn't help much. They say they have an arcade. No they do not. It is 3 games and one didn't work. They say they have beer. No they do not, unless you only want Michelob ultra. Yuck!!!!! So I have to say I would get their pizza for pickup but that's it, and not too often. Just too costly. Wanted to try this place for a while. Overall the pizza was pretty tasty, the salad bar was pretty fresh minus the older Romaine that probably shouldn't have been served. The male employee there was barely attentive to anything and unwelcoming. The dining area was a mess. The part that I found disgusting was for the buffet you were begrudgingly given one plate for pizza and one plate for salad. Say you want more pizza, what do you do ? Go get a new plate, right ? NOPE ! Plates are kept away from pizza bar and salad bar. So people go back up to the buffet with used plates, saliva and all. I served my next slice of pizza on a napkin. No metal forks offered just plastic ? Employee walks up to the bar with his phone in hand then goes to move the pizza around with spatula. Gross. Please do better and get it together. I am respectful to all businesses. This Mountain Mikes was a total disappointment. Julianna took my order respectfully and seemed occupied by her co workers. I simply wanted some boneless wings to carry me over until a later dinner. This was at 550pm. I started to worry when another guest was upset about incorrect pizzas and the staff didn't seem to care. Now it's 20 minutes and I asked Julianna about how much longer for my wings. She said 5 more minutes. Remember; just 8oz of boneless wings. Finally, now at 30 minutes, I need to go. I requested a refund. She gets Zach the manager and without an apology or eye contact, he voids the transaction and walked back to the kitchen. Such disrespectful service started by the Manager...? Then cashier #2 says it was refunded to you card. Umm. I paid cash. Cmon. Another 8 min to get the drawer open to deliver my cash. My simple advice to all pizza lovers. Service and common courtesy is missing here at this location. I hope the owners get back and involved with their business. I hate to see a good pizza place fall due to incompetent leaders. I have to say this place is great. Everything I have ordered has been exactly how I ordered it. I have never had any issues with anything I've ordered. I do have to complement Matthew. He is the counterperson that works the register he gets everybody's order together and gives it to you and he addresses me by name every time I come in it's like I ordered one time and ever since I've been going into order he addresses me by my name. He just amazes me and I imagine he sees all kinds of people all the time, the whole place everybody's friendly. I've never had a bad experience there. I can't say anything more more about it. I recently went here for the first time and got the boring medium pepperoni. I was actually surprised at how good the pizza was. Not sure if it's the pepperoni they use or all of the ingredients combined but the pizza tasted great!!! I didn't stay to eat the pizza but the place seemed cleaned and well kept. Might be nice to hangout and watch a game while eating. I will say the waiting for help at the front counter with no one in site for almost 5 minutes could get someone upset though. I'm more on the patient side so I didn't make a big deal of it. When they did come out they were friendly and didn't seem to be annoyed about doing their job like most kids working today.
