(((READ ME))) I had made an order online, and after I placed my order I had called the store to verify my order to make sure they received it. The gentlemen was nice to repeat my full order and was happy to know my order was received. BEWARE** I get ANOTHER call from a different area code that I'm unfamiliar with that's not associated with the area I bought my pizza. The caller had said they worked with the online mountain mikes company and had told me that my order was not going to be processed until they received a VAILD credit card on file. I was furious at this point because NOWHERE online did it say that a valid credit card must be put in. And had explained the situation to her about how it's ridiculous how they have 2 options online on how to pay, 1. Pay using credit card and 2. Walk in At the moment of placing my order I had put as the option to do a walk in instead of paying online. And I tell them I'll call back with the credit card info. I then call the STORE not the person back that just called me and explaining what had happened, and asking if they had started my order, and they had told me that my order is finished. So the manager had seemed like this happens occasionally because he told me not to give credit card info out to random callers, but seemed self explanatory by the random caller. This woman who answers the phone here says she's the manager. Refused to give me a refund for a pizza that was not delivered. She claimed that the driver spoke to someone and said to leave it outside. I live in a gated apartment complex why in the heck would I do that??!?!?! Came here one day for lunch because I heard they have a lunch buffet that includes pizza, salad bar, bread sticks and dessert. Salad bar is sketchy. Looks like some things have been sitting out for a week. Lettuce was wilted and brown. Pizza wasn't ready even though it was during the hours of the buffet. I had to wait for the pizza to be made. I was asked what I want. Went simple and asked for sausage and they made a chicken pizza and BBQ chicken. What's the point of asking if you are not going to get what you want. As for the dessert, it's suppose to be a dessert pizza with cinnamon and a sugar drizzle. However the last few times I have been there they haven't had it out which is a shame because that is the best part. The pizza when it did come out was OK even though it still wasn't what I wanted. This would be a 5 star if they knew the wifi password. haha. I was a little skeptical as to why my family and I haven't ordered here yet. I've always been dependent on Marina or Porky's. Well, daddy wanted pizza and Porky's was closed so we ventured to the Mountain Mike. My mommy is always taken aback by the beautiful glorified pictures. I was upset that she threw away the coupons just a night before but thankfully, it was only $17.99 for a large specialty pizza. I highly recommend the Everest but with WHITE CREAMY GARLIC SAUCE as a substitute instead of your traditional red sauce. It made it taste that much better. Their crust was perfect and I normally don't eat the crust but this is was lovely. Customer service was good though the guy had an accent; just be patient, he's nice! Their place is big and I think they have some pizza lunch buffet that I wasn't aware of. I'd much rather order a pie and eat that right out of the oven. Also, at first, thought they skimped on the toppings but actually, they're really good serving sizes. The large fed my family of 4. The 2nd best pizza place in my book Which first of course with Round Table. This place has awesome pizza I tell ya. We odrer the combo no shrooms please and we always get it the way we order it. We usually order the Everest , Garlic Sticks with cheese and every now and then we will get an order of wings and a 2 liter soda which I think we get a coupon for something like this for 27.99 or so which i think its a deal. First off, the pizza alone gets 5 stars. I've always loved their pizza. This particular location, however, gets 2 stars. I went here for the first time on Saturday night around 8pm. At that time of night it should be packed but I was literally the only customer in the place. In the 15 minutes I spent after ordering my pizza to go, I only saw one other customer walk in to order. The place itself is nice with plenty of seating that looks pretty new. They have a huge flat screen TV but they were blasting the volume to a really obnoxious level. Some of the staff should be fired. The girl who took my order was kind of bitchy. She was probably around 18, definitely under 21 because she couldn't pour the beer I ordered to drink while waiting. (Or is it that you have to be at least 18 to serve? Whatever the case, she was on the young side.) The guy who poured my beer was in his late 20's to early 30's and in between waiting for the head of the beer to settle a bit (I think it was a new keg) he sort of wrestled with the young girl, obviously releasing pent up sexual frustration regarding her (she was cute). After I ordered and sat down they continued with the elementary playground fighting and were yelling and swearing. Now, I'm all for swearing and such in social situations, but when you're working the front counter of a restaurant at least show a modicum of professionalism. Or, at the very least, don't be a retarded monkey. At one point the girl was even pounding the counter and yelling at her co-worker. They did manage to get the pizza ready quickly--and, as always with MM, it was good--and I couldn't have been happier to get out of that place. If the behavior of the staff that night was any indication of how it usually is then I can see why it was dead on a Saturday night. M M has a really good family meal deal but you have to call and ask for it as it is not featured on their coupons. It's 2 large 2 topping pizza, an order of cheesy bread sticks, an order of wings and a 2 liter of soda. you can also half and half the pizza toppings at no extra charge ! it's like 37.99 plus tax or something but that's a good deal ! Shout out to the good folks at this location for excellent pizza and service. My family and I have come on a couple Saturdays to have buffet with my parents, and thought we'd try it out on a Wednesday evening. When I asked a gentlemen who looked the proprietor if it were possible to have pizzas with no pork, he kindly obliged and hand-delivered a piping hot half pizza topped with chicken and veggies. "I NEEEEEED PIZZAAAAA!" - me, all day yesterday as I walked around the house terrorizing my poor pups like a starving T-Rex. The cravings were really real man. But it worked! The family got annoyed of me and off to Mountain Mike's we went. This particular one is our go-to since it's the closest to us. Usually we order it for pick up (on Tuesdays when larges are half off) but this time we decided to just eat it there. The staff is friendly and helpful. We wanted to use a coupon for a $19.99 large speciality pizza but they actually had a better deal for $18.99. So we went with that. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because the wait was super long. On one hand, it's understandable because it was super busy with a party, two large groups, and a handful of families/people picking up. But on the other hand, it's a Friday night. You gotta expect it to be busy and so you should be prepared, right? But when that glorious chicken club came our way, I was like Emma Stone's character on Easy A when she got her food - YUMMMM. When our daughter was a toddler, we were regulars for Wednesday buffet. Kids love pizza and tired parents enjoy not having to cook or do dishes. So it was a win-win. Except for our overall fitness. In recent years, we have begun to do Meatless Mondays and do a lot more cooking so we are rarely here. Our most recent visits were months apart. My daughter and I were here for a caroling after-party during the holidays and there were plenty of slices and drinks for all the families. This week, we decided to treat my daughter to Wednesday buffet since she did a great job at a school event. It was a ghost town. Back in the day, this place was full of families enjoying the buffet. This time, we were one of three small parties. The staff, who still remembers us, prepared pizzas to our liking: jalapeno and meats for the man, veggie for me, chicken club for my daughter. Mountain Mike's Pizza is a pretty decent little place for pizza. The slices here are better than the other Mountain Mike's in the area. The one in the greenhouse is currently changing ownership, (so look for this post to be updated) but I think it may be a positive thing. I usually go here for the lunch pizza and salad buffet, but they are usually overstaffed with teenagers that just sit up front and talk while two people in the back make all of the pizza , so it usually takes a while for a new pie to come out. I will admit that this place has never been as bad as the one on Marina. In fact that's one of the main reasons that it's worth going to. The bottom line is when I can get a bunch of good pizza, some cinnastick like slices and salad and soda for under $10 per person and watch the game on a big screen it's not exactly like I am suffering. In fact it's pretty good times if you go with friends and happen to get there on a day when the service is a little better. It really would get four stars if the kids there did something besides gossip in the front of the restaurant.
