This Mountain Mike's pizza is close to my house. The portions are always generous, the pizza flavors spot on. always get the Pineapple Chicken Luau and a garlic chicken pizza with mozerella sticks. The online ordering makes ordering super-easy and it's ALWAYS ready when we go pick it up. In, out -- ready to feast!! The owners / workers here don't go out of their way to be super nice, but they aren't super mean either. They are just doing their jobs and that's perfectly fine with me! We do not need to small talk, I'm just there to get some pizza. This is not an everyday kind of meal for us but when we have it we treat it as a treat and feast and really go at it. Very delicious! I decided on having a little pizza and salad for lunch. I'm not a HUGE pizza fan but like it every now-and-again so I decided to order enough to feed the office. I chose to have it delivered. We ordered the Everest Pizza (Classic combination, pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, linguica, beef, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers and onion.) and added green chilis to it. It was good. Thick crust, full flavor. I liked it. The salad was original. It had your assorted veggies (Carrots, broccoli, etc) as well as an unusual but pleasant addition of beets and chili beans. The only "issue" I had was the offer "vinaigrette" dressing which came as... vinegar. Nothing more, nothing less. Needless to say I did not use the dressing. Luckily someone had some bleu cheese dip here at work so I used that to accomodate. All-in-all it was decent pizza, decent price, interesting salad. I'll have it again. read more

Like others Round Table's my pizza, but I tried Mountain Mikes Chicken Club while in Capitola and it was great so thought I'd have a pizza delivered since they're right down the street. We tried the new robbers roost with white sauce. The pizza delivered was COLD. We tried it and could not taste any white sauce. I called them and the person who answered the phone was rude, reminding me sarcastically that we ordered white sauce. I asked to speak to the manager who asked if we had eaten all the pizza. Only 4 slices were gone so she agreed to deliver another pizza but she asked for the half eaten pizza back! they failed in customer service and even the replaced pizza wasn't very good -- at least we could taste the sauce. I know a lot have said they liked it but for me I won't go back. Maybe it's the new management someone mentioned needs some help! read more

I only ate at the actual location once and I have to agree with the other reviewer - it was strangely empty and the TV was blaring. We were there for the 'all you can eat wednesday' and the pizza available was "eh". However, any other time we've ordered for take out it's been great. Always order early for pick up on Super Bowl Sunday to avoid the wait and the lines. Usually they are right on tIme with things and I'm in and out without an issue. Today they were slammed and when I checked in 10 minutes after my pickup time I was told that they were just being prepped. They apologized and said it was Super Bowl Sunday and they were busy. I told them that's why I order online and was then offered a $5 discount...on an $80 pizza order! They were apologetic and busy, but they clearly need to be better prepared on busy days. Great Pizza... BUT the service sucks, and they placed the giant television at the worst possible spot in terms of glare and feng shui! I would have loved to give them five stars, but this isn't a relationship and theres not give and take here... The service is probably the cruddiest thing here. I was standing by the register waiting for someone to help me for about 2 minutes before I realized that the workers all went into the kitchen to gossip. I was about to take my money and leave right when the cashier came back out after noticing that someone was actually in their restaurant. My pizza arrived late and cold and with a delivery driver that was sweating and about to topply over. Yes, a run-on sentence, but one that is necessary in my first few moments experience with this Mountain Mike's Pizza. I asked him for change and he made me feel bad about it when I am going to give him a tip... Not a good experience and not the best tasting pizza either. It had all the mountain mike ingredients, but the dough wasn't fully cooked through and the pizza was overall undone. I definitely recommend ordering early (4pm or 5pm) or super late (9pm) to avoid the dinner rush. I always order to go here and it normally takes 15 to 20 mins to make the pizza.
