Absolutely the WORST customer service I've ever had! My mom placed an order but our car wouldn't start so she tried to call and cancel but no one would pick up the phone. Finally later the manager called to say our order was ready and she told him we had been trying to call and cancel because we couldn't come pick up our food. He went off on her saying he didn't hear the phone ring so she must be lying and to never, ever call the store again. She told him to enjoy the food himself and he screamed at her he was going to throw it away. What on earth?! There was no need for him to be so obnoxiously aggressive to an old lady because she had car trouble and couldn't make it. And to tell her after screaming at her to I route "Never, ever call us again" is childish and just stupid. Well I can promise you none of us in my family or my business will ever do business with you again. Called and ordered my pizza and I asked for half cheese on my heart pepperoni pizza (Valentine's day) and the other one pepperoni. If I could give no stars I would. I have never been so disrespected in a restaurant in my life. I went to the all you can eat buffet on Tuesday, May 15 with my daughter of whom does not like bread or a lot of crust. The manager proceeded to come up to me and 'asked me to not waste so much food and next time I need to buy my own pizza'. I was taken a back and said "excuse me?" and he said "Yeah next time buy your own pizza you are wasteful". After all is said and done his wife who sits two tables next to us to eat her dinner glared at me the entire time. Mind you when I came in, there was nothing but dried up pizza maybe two or three slices so I had to ask him to make pizza because there was none for us to eat. NEVER COME HERE. Service is terrible. The family that owns it didn't even greet me when I walked in. I ordered one large pepperoni with a 2 liter of Pepsi online at 1805. Typically only takes 20-30 minutes to make. I showed up at 1835 and my pizza still wasn't done. I noticed a lot of orders stacked on the oven ready for pick up and saw one large pizza sitting alone. I knew it was mine but didn't say anything because I don't work there and I could've been wrong. The Kid working told me it'll be 5 more minutes. Very odd and not common at other locations for the pizza to not be done for a pick up within 20-30 minutes. I politely said ok. Sat back and waited 5 minutes and watched a few people come in and pick up their food. I walk back up the kid sees me and proceeds to grab that very same pizza that was there when I showed up! I called him out and said, "that pizza was there when I showed up" he literally lied to my face and said it was a different pizza. I just laughed, gave him the stank eye and walked away. My pizza was warm but only from it sitting on top of the oven. It wasn't hot like you'd expect a pizza that was just taken out of the oven. This Alamo location is terrible!! Over the past few years I have eaten here several times with my family and a couple times we have ordered for take out. At first it was for the lower prices but it has become a favorite. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. We love the pizza: plenty of topping and love the crispy, spicy pepperoni! The eat in atmosphere is good for a pizza place. This is my new fave pizza place in Vacaville. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and personable. Tried the all you can eat salad and pizza last night for the first time. The best part, staff ASKED my family what pizza we wanted, versus just the same old pizzas being made and brought out. Salad bar was a bit underwhelming, in my opinion, hence the missing star. Tuesday's there is a nice discount on all pizzas. For the last two years, this particular restaurant has never disappointed and we will continue to be loyal customers. I have come here about ten times for their lunch buffet. If I was rating just the pizza, I would give a 4. But their service is a 2. A lot of times, there is only one person working, making both the pizza and ringing people up. So this leads to the buffet running out of pizza and like this visit, I was left at the front counter for 5 minutes before I had to call out to the guy in the back to please ring me up. I understand that it is more cost effective to have only one person working, but the needs of the customer need to be met. Next time I will hit up the buffet at Round Table down the street. I am lowering my three star review to two now on the same visit as now there is only 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza at the buffet and I don't do pineapple. That is how it has been for the last 5 minutes and I have a 30 minute lunch. There are 11 people here eating. There should be a steady flow of pizza to the buffet. read more
